Did you see Jota's backheel goal @LFC_Bitcoin? We may only be the league's second top scoring team but our goals are pretty (if only those counted for something).

Szoboszlai's one was my favorite. That guy is a machine, I'm so thrilled we got him.

He's everything you need from a modern football's centre mid and he clicked with the team instantly.
You can see how often do they look for him, even in crowded areas. He'll improve our offensive game immensely.

I don't know where this is from, a friend sent it to me - I do feel it's correct though:

Code:
Liverpool's new midfielders Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch & Endō have 6 goal contributions between them in September.
That’s as many as Henderson, Milner, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keïta achieved for the whole of last season.

For Liverpool, we start with the hole, and then bail the water out as we put our sails up.
The high expectation is part of what makes up the perceived problem of letting in tons of goals.
If I was in an opposition team, I will really be scared of this Liverpool team, cause not only do they come back from dire situations, they know how to kill of the game once they go ahead.

I will like to see how they handle a game after going ahead first, cause I will expect them to be very dominant in that situation.

And despite leaking goals, we're actually 2nd on "least chances conceded" behind Citeh, so I'm also okay there.
Conceding 5 goals in the league after 6 games is not exactly 'leaking goals'. Liverpool have conceded the second least amount of goals [5] just behind City with 3 and they have kept one clean sheet this season.
I think what makes it look bad is that Liverpool have been going down first and needed to come back from behind in almost all the games they have played this season. It has a different feel when you are cruising to victory by 3 goals and the other team get a consolation goal and when you go down first.

It is looking scary how good Liverpool's results have been and how much they have to improve to become better. They just might edge Arsenal and return as the main title contenders.

Fair enough. I guess I'm just talking in relative terms of high expectations. Like you said it's just jarring to always concede first. By that comparison, it feels like we're leaking, which spurs us into action. As you say, going up 3 goals and then allowing one is more like sailing, reaching the destination and then your hull cracks.

For Liverpool, we start with the hole, and then bail the water out as we put our sails up.

I was thinking at the beginning of the season that Liverpool would finish the league ahead of Arsenal. And I think they are playing quite good now. My only worry is that Liverpool's defense looks really problematic. It might not always be possible to make up for simple mistakes made in defense.

@BitcoinGirl.Club we are both going on quite badly compared to last season. We need to collect ourselves to challenge for top 10.

Was there anyone with more than 60 points after 6 games below 20th place last season? No, I believe everyone else outperformed last season, as the leading player has already reached 70 points after only 6 games. I have 62 points yet am still in 20th place. I don't think I got anything close to this marl after 6 games last season, and I was still higher than 20th.

Darbit is already back in first place, Dude your AI predictor must be pretty good despite these poor results. Oh, no.

Liverpool aint good and they are struggling again in the second season. I think they will need to do much better while Arsenal needs to win small games if they want to try and compete for the title. Well you guys maybe are off a couple of points but this can change really fast with a couple of good rounds.

Maybe your team should learn to keep the back closed, conceding and coming back from defeat after defeat is not a good sign and it's just a matter of time till the luck runs out.

And BTW the only time you met a big club Enzo ride on your midfield and didn't cum for the whole 90mins and you guys got lucky as usual.  Cheesy

Spurs and then Brighton, I prefer these tough games to come first, really, as they're a better gauge of how well your team is doing. Spurs currently getting goals at 3 times their expected rate while we're slightly underperforming on xG so I'm very happy there.

I had Wolves on my ticket as well, but I also had Brentford and United. Seems like it could be 0 from 3 how that day has progressed so far. Thankfully, there is DOTA tournament going on and I will win that ticket and finish the day on positive 0.

Seems like quite a strange day in PL.

And funny enough, none of my EFL cup bets won -- City lost, but the odds weren't to my liking, there really isn't anything sure now except a live bet on Liverpool as soon as they concede. Tough game for us away at Spurs on Saturday, I think we’ll see how serious Klopp 2.0 can be taken this season as title contenders in the next 2 weeks.

We have back to back away games against Spurs and then Brighton. If we can come out of those games with 4 points or more then we are back.

I think Liverpool showed great game yesterday in the EFL Cup and they turned things around in the second half very easily, while I think Tottenham is not difficult to beat based on Liverpool recent performance and then Brighton I don't consider at all, yesterday they were beaten by Chelsea which completely dominated the game against them in this cup game.I think they are having some high volatility in their results as they lost in Europa Conference League then won at Premier League game and yesterday they lost again so for Liverpool to win this should not be difficult at all, hopefully the odd is big and we make some nice money out of this game.

No dude I was referring to their Champions League match against AC Milan last week, in which they had only one shot on target for the whole game and were fortunate that AC couldn't bury any of their nine shots on goal. They might not be as fortunate in the next game.
Oh, my bad.

But to be fair to them they had been out of the champions league facing 7 times champions league winners and last years semi finalists away from home. A draw was an amazing result for them and sitting back to get it was a good decision, but I do not see them getting out of that group, maybe a Europa league finishing spot.

If they continue to sit back they will not be able to get enough point to take them to the Europa league.

You just lost a point because Aston Villa is better than us. I was mistaken; there's no way this so-called project will bring us back to life; it's Potter Pro Max all over again. The team appears disorganised, and the coach is already frustrated and waiting for his sack letter. I can't tell you how furious I am that we had 8 days to prepare for this game, whilst Aston Villa had 3 days and they still beat us.

Jackson what do you think about him just good for random cup wins or the real deal? I mean its not Premier League but its Brighton so it's still a quality team to be proud to beat.

He has the talent, but he needs assistance, and if Poch continues to play Palmer behind him and allows them to develop synergy, he will begin scoring for joy. Mudryk must also be given enough game time to develop chemistry with the offense

Spurs are kinda vulnerable - they play quite open. I feel good about this game, we're the better team and will probably have control in midfield.
We were really impressive in the Cup yesterday - I think we're in a good period. I just hope Trent is back, there will be a lot of space behind Tottenham's defence to exploit.

Liverpool are always gonna be favorites again against this team but I think it's going to be all about how Spurs play rather than Liverpool. Scoring is guaranteed but no one except Chelsea have kept Liverpool out yet.

Newcastle united were ulter shit and only got lucky.
I did not watch the match, but how lucky do you get to score 8 goals?
One way is you get lucky with one or two or three goals and then your opponents completely throw in the towel and the party starts, other than that you need to put in a half decent performance to win by that margin.

All shit.

I was fucking close though. In normal situation I would go with Chelsea to win. I have home advantage in mind so thought okay lets go with a draw because it looked like they lost interest of winning, so not time for think about winning. I have not checked who is next for them but whoever it is, I will either go with the opponent or another draw.

Sorry darling, your team have no hope.

For us, this is the new normal! I've seen my team win twice in the last five months, so I'm not expecting much from them anytime soon. To make matters worse, these kids are on a life contract, so we won't be able to get rid of them anytime soon; it's either the project succeeds or we drown.

Value bet against Chelsea is always Under 2.5 or Under1.5 HT. Last match I took Aston villa +2 goal handicap to win.

Newcastle seems back in the track. They had a good start in Champions league first round in the away match. They seemed lost after losing to City, then Liverpool and followed by Brignton. It's good news for Sportsbet family.

Newcastle what the f*ck did they do to Sheffield United, when I saw 0-3 the first half I thought that will be it as most likely in second half Newcastle will settle down and manage the three points only to be surprised in the end by that 0-8 result, first time I see one in the Premier League these last couple of years.

Well we had Liverpool 9-0 against Bournemouth last year and also Manchester United 9-0 Southampton on 2021 as well. Yeah its pretty rare but most of us are probably surprised because it was coming from Newcastle and we know that Newcastle has been having a rough start this season however its against Sheffield so its just make sense at some point

Yeah I think that is why it surprised me,Newcastle a team which despite finishing in the top 4 last season they were not distinguished at all for scoring a lot of goals. They got there mostly of a really good defense rather than scoring a lot of goals and that is why it is surprising to me as a result.

As for those 9-0 results I had completely forgotten about them,it shows that sometimes some weak teams have a really bad day and they are punished in an extreme way by suffering these humiliating defeats with such results.

but what stands out the most is that Newcastle had 8 different goalscorers.
This is a interesting stat.
