For me it was a terrible weekend for pools and for cash betting: first I lost a multibet because of Bayern, then I re-entered and lost because of City and yesterday I ended up betting on the teams that I hate - PSG and Barcelona  Grin however yesterday they helped me to win back a significant part of the losses. And today United again presents a pleasant surprise  Cool Great end to the tour.

easy peasy 👊😎

people keep underestimating Man Utd,, well don't mind me i'm just gonna keep backing them (:

First serious team Arsenal will play against, what could go wrong? lol too bad i couldn't get the 3 pts in our pool, that would've been the icing on the cake

I think now no one will underestimate Manchester United since they are added to the title race because of only 3 points missing from the top of the standings for them. The reason people underestimated them is because they lost the first game at home and then they lost 4-0 against a weak-medium quality team soon after.Luckily for Manchester United the Liverpool game turned everything around for them and now they have 4 consecutive victories while 2 of them against title contenders, yes Manchester United is back at being a good team.

So Arsenal I believe is only strong against weak and average teams based on the performance of today. It looks like Manchester United just made 4 wins in a row and this is great news,I saw the match today and I think if they play like this will be a solid team even in the remote chance to fight for the title. It is not anymore that remote as a possibility as they are now just 3 points below the leaders which they just beat in tonight game.I guess from now on we are going to see the normal Arsenal we all know about,I only hope they keep their consistency and not go south from this lost game an onward.

Leicester just can't get a good result no matter against which team they are playing,I had Brighton to win and that happened even with a tennis score.

yeah, Leicester will fight to stay in Premiership this season, and that is now obvious, pitty for a team that won EPL few seasons ago, but these are different times, and they slided last season, with this season proved that slide was not temporary

that is actually great for Everton, one more in line for relegation, with Bournemouth, they need to let down one more team below them

Leicester just can't get a good result no matter against which team they are playing,I had Brighton to win and that happened even with a tennis score. After six games I have said a couple of times now that this team will fight for relegation or maybe it will get relegated because 6 games are not that a low amount of matches, out of 18 points they have got just 1 point and for me the number speaks better than thousand words in these type of situations.

The big game now left to be played, any result can happen but I hope that Arsenal wins in order to make a better gap to the followers.

Yeah, I think we really have to accept Rodger's going to get the sack, and I read a few days ago after United his comments, couldn't have picked a worse time to say something against the owners (who have, in all honesty, been extremely patient with him, though I do agree they could loosen the purse strings a little if they want more than Europa).

They have a lot of quality and should have got something from United, but this game they just let it all slip away after getting to HT letting 2 goals in. Criminal how they allowed Brighton to take shots all the way in injury time.

Also hoping for a Gunners win, got quite a lot of money on this game (which isn't really normal for myself but happy to take some wind out of United). Antony right into it and a slightly brighter start for United, but wish Maguire also was on the pitch heh.

Martinelli goal, man, I was SO close to putting him on my Betbuilder but decided Jesus was "safer". Was actually almost sure this would be the latest example of VAR and refereeing being much more lenient on physicality of EPL... but soft foul given and goal chalked off!

Man, good to see Iheanacho back and on the scoresheet. Thought he was actually quite good for the money against United. Doesn't help I actually have Brighton to win though oops.

Weird calls this season so far. I think if this season refs are supposed to have implemented a new rule to give the benefit of doubt back to the attacker (if lines overlap, it's not offside unlike last season), which explains why United got their winning goal against us (no complaints from me) then I really don't get how this weekend VAR intervened.

Oh and Coutinho should have won the game for Villa. But ref was so dumb he whistled even before anything -- there was absolutely no offside, worst call of the weekend? Or Mendy faking injury? Cause he didn't even clutch the part that brushed haha. UEFA is supposed to be punishing simulation more in UCL, Europa and Conference. Would love to see that.

Only 2/7 for me today, it could've been worse but at least those two were all correct scores so i'm only 1pt behind from the top 20.

Also the late goals coming from the Chelsea and Fulham saved my round a bit together with the VAR at the end coming to the rescue.  Grin

Edit : Forgot there's still the Man City game left surely most of us should get points from it.  Smiley

Terrible week for me. I've only got 1.5 points so far and looks like I'll be getting the wooden spoon this week  Roll Eyes. Some shocking decisions in VAR this week. At this point it's doing more harm than good and I'd rather they scrapped it completely.

There is a golden opportunity tomorrow for Arsenal,if they win the game against Manchester United then they will be in a very comfortable position in their fight for the title which would be even more realistic after the win against Manchester United. The fact that the top contenders like Manchester City,Liverpool and Chelsea are leaving points here and there only make things easier for them if they are serious enough to win tomorrow game. These points left here and there can be fatal for the title race,I only hope Arsenal wins tomorrow that would make the Premier League even better than it is.

Hard game to predict. I'm sure most will go for the draw. If it was at the Emirates I might have backed an Arsenal win but I think they both might cancel each other out. Hopefully it's a high scoring game though. I wonder if they'll start Ronnie now the transfer drama is over until at least January, though maybe he'll remain benched if he's been trying to backseat manage?  Cheesy. Kinda silly not to start him now but maybe Hag is trying to show him who's boss. Probably won't be the boss for long though if they don't keep the form up now.

I finished the day with 10 points and I picked exact scores for three games. It is still not the best day of course as I failed to get any points in four games at the same time. Forest - Bournemouth game was really unbelievable. My pick was a Forest win by 2-0 but Bournemouth's comeback just left no words for me to say.
The biggest surprise of the day was of course in the Aston Villa - Manchester City game. Aston Villa somehow stole one point by a 1-1 draw despite not playing very good. Haaland continued to score here too but they still couldn't manage to win. I see that only alexrossi picked the exact score for this game and the rest of the participants got 0 point from it. It is a really great job, alexrossi!

Bournemouth played well enough. My prediction was Bournemouth to win 1-0. Because Nottingham's performance was not very good. But to my surprise, Bournemouth won 3-2. It was not expected to see 5 goals in this match.
My prediction for Manchester City vs Aston Villa match was City to win 3-1. But Manchester City could not play well against Aston Villa's defenders. Manchester City needed 3 points from this match. Guardiola should not rely solely on Haaland. Because Manchester City has a lot of money. They should have brought in one more experienced striker.

I think nobody expected that Arsenal would be in this position especially the fans. Arsenal can now make a big advantage over Man City and we know that in the premier league every point is really huge. Also i dont know what happened to Man City to drop more points.

looking at City and Liverpool today, Arsenal has great opportunity against United to increase their point difference at the top

it certainly looked different at the beginning, but Gunners are becoming interesting candidate to trophy fight if they manage to win at Old Trafford, looking forward to that one

Anthony Taylor will be the ref [1] so Everton Liverpool could get away with murder in this game lol
oops, fixed  Grin

Oh, come on.  Van Dijk was looking at the ball when he stepped on Onana's ankle.   Cheesy  Cheesy

Looks like City is going to leave points on the pitch.  They've been dominating even though they're obviously playing without the energy they're known for.

I also from the seven games got only 2 right but luckily got one exact score and one close,Chelsea exact and Tottenham close the only results I got right.I never thought Liverpool to not win against a much weaker Everton but the biggest surprise for me was the win of Bournemouth that they turned things around in the second half from 2-0 to 2-3 and I considered them the worst team yet together with Leicester of the Premier League, now they are in mid table.

Manchester City I guess everyone will get a point as a minimum.

9 points from 6 games, we've already dropped almost half the average points a title winner has in the past 5 or 6 campaigns, so this doesn't bode well unless we pull another string of impossible wins... not with the squad we have now and the way we're playing. Can't put a finger on it, is it an insistence to stick to 4-3-3 when we don't actually have the personnel?
Last week we were almost losing point until in the final minute we had luck. We can't expect to be lucky all the time, for example today. Salah seems inactive. Is anyone missing Mané? Salah and Mané had good chemistry although in off field there were some questioning between their relationship.

Anyway, if Fulham, Palace and Everton can challenge us and take points from us then surely we have a rocky road ahead unless Klopp brings out any x factor to get back to winning habit.

i would stay away from liverpool. The 9-0 was a glitch in the matrix

Glitch in the matrix huh, thats actually good one

There is absolutely no truer truth out there for today.

^  Yeah..  I didn't see the goal as I was replying to Welsh with the post below.  But it looks like there's VAR.

Edit:  Oh Salah is on the pitch.  I didn't see him.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I don't know what to say about that Everton goal, I'm always an advocate of it's worth calling, it's worth calling right but on this occasion I feel bad for Everton, It's very marginal and even If they had call on it onside I don't think anyone would have disputed the call, even by taking a closer look at the picture/replay.
