Just don't bet on Villa against City. I know you were eyeing this one but there is another piece of bad news for Liverpool supporters. It seems that Grealish has a clause where Villa gets 18M if City wins the league. Would be quite stupid from them to throw that kind of money away. Not to mention that City is good enough to win even if they play their best and I suspect they will not push it too hard in this game.

call me stupid, but I also think that Villa will play professionally, never mind the money
it is money for the club, not players, and yeah, club will earn money, but players can earn their part only with points from the pitch

but, yeah, it is a piece of the news, when you know that Villa is earning money by losing against City, good contract management
it is more to me that Villa lost all match against City since 2015, statistics have it that they have to take point after some seasons, but probably not this weekend

^Whoops, you're right, that's tomorrow. We got a cool Europa final to watch tonight though!

Anyone fancy Leicester taking a win from Chelsea today? Nothing to play for, and Chelsea on the back of a demoralising FA final loss... over 9/1 seems nice for me since Vardy's back from injury in time.
Could be.

You know I couldn't resist it, I already put one down (18/1). Didn't know anything about that $18 million and yeah, I think Villa will be professional and play properly but wouldn't be surprised if they have secret executive orders to not stress too much about it, that money could buy a really good player or a fleet of new playing/coaching staff.

I actually also have Watford bet at same odds also against Chelsea. Actually that's 3 bets I have left, other than Liverpool outright and parlays, all which I'll post up in my thread. If only 1 hits, I'll be happy, if not, well, it was still a fun season!

I was checking the tabble and see (correct me if im wrong) if Manchester United lose or draw and West Ham win , Manchester its going to the Conference League.

Fortunately, yes, and that's what I'm hoping for hahaha.

Europa: 5th place and FA cup winner
Conference: EFL Cup winner

United realistically never needed to finish higher than 6th since the FA Cup semi draw, since FA Cup win was almost certain to be by Top 5 teams, freeing up #6 in the league for Europa.

Too bad for Wolves.

The game in fact of Chelsea vs Leicester is tomorrow unless I am seeing it wrong but this is what Flashscore tells me.Anything can happen and Leicester can win,it depends on how well Chelsea reacts after losing the FA cup but I believe it is hard to find motivation after such a lost game when you are playing for nothing.

The one who spiced up the Premier League is Liverpool with yesterday win which I strangely enough got a correct score.

Newcastle is team in the top form and they know there will be a lot of new players next season. They are playing out of their skins to show they still deserve a place in new Newcastle. On the other hand Southampton looks like their players are on holidays for some time now. True that both teams have nothing to play for when looking at PL table but they have very different form and mentality at the moment.

I bet on them against Arsenal, they are one of the best teams in the league since Howe took over. As you said, they cannot let their form drop because that team will be fully revamped for next season.
I will probably bet on them away at Burnley in the last game of the season as well, Burnley will be fighting for their PL status so I expect good odds on a Newcastle win. That team will probably fight for Europe next year.

Newcastle, did not need a single point for anything and they went and beat one of the UCL fighting teams. Spurs must be jumping with joy at this, I think this 4th place has been trading hands like so many times now but the momentum is with the white side of London. The funny thing with Newcastle too is that Eddie Howe will get all the plaudits for this, while when they lose, the news always talks about rebuilding and owners and club plans. I mean, I think he's a great manager but look at the team they have and they should actually be winning more. St Maximin they should protect too he is almost never 100% fit even on replays I see him play like he is shutting out the pain.

Something I totally forgot and didn't consider at all. Still, I would have thought their best players are already playing their best, and still, Arsenal felt to me like the team with even more motivation.

But take away team and look at individuals and you're right sometimes. For teams like Arsenal they haven't made themselves a unit yet so the individual players going above and beyond make the difference, and Newcastle did this far better.

Manchester United in Conference league? Wow, that would be a new record (first English winner lol).

Yeah, Klopp has some serious balls fielding that side. I wasn't expecting so many changes that's for sure. Although, despite the changes we always looked in control, and despite the goal Southampton managed to get, which appeared to be deflected, I think we dominated the game, and largely Southampton didn't look that threatening.

I thought there was a foul leading up to the Southampton goal, and to be honest kind of dumbfounded on how it wasn't even considered worth looking into more closely. In my book was a clear foul. Anyway, I thought he did what we needed, and know the last game of the season is going to be absolute crazy, with so many other games also having significant weight on who finishes where, you could probably watch all games, and there's almost something to play for most of them.

I still have hope that Aston Villa will get something from the game, and we just need to beat Wolves.

Arsenal were completely helpless in their game against Newcastle  yesterday as they missed the only golden chance that would have made them qualify for the champions league next season.Newcastle were absolutely in control of the game through out the match. They capitalised on Arsena's vulnerability in the midfield, and continue to maned more pressure on the Arsenal team. The only chance they have now is only if Tottenham looses their last game.

Big and important win for Liverpool considering they put substitutes in this match. A risky move from Klopp. Everybody knows the chances are low but still have chances.

Nah, I dont think Villa could win though but probably force a draw against City is likely

could be, but does not seem likely
City lost points against West Ham, but last match of the season and they need a win, should be manageable, difference between them and Villa is huge

nevertheless, my eyes are on the bottom part and Villa playing Burnley tomorrow, since Everton is playing Palace, win is enough to avoid relegation, but our play is shit this whole year

I don't think Liverpool would mess this up, Southampton just don't have anything to play for and they've been all nothing but awful as in the last 2 months+ as arallmuus have said, It should be an effortless win for Liverpool regardless.

They almost lost though ! yeah well its Liverpool being Liverpool, I guess unless they wont lose to any other then the current top 4 team or something huh. 1 point difference and its now all in the hands of Gerrard, could he actually help his former team win the trophy this season  Roll Eyes. Getting a draw against City would definitely be enough though

Speaking of fair deals: Villa @18/1 I've taken it. Sweet boost from Sportsbet.

Truly incredible how Arsenal let go of an almost consummated chance to enter the UCL. Now they have to wait for Totenham to lose in order for them to have a chance.
We are all waiting to see what Newcastle's big signings are in the coming season.

For sure fair deal Harko! I'd have taken it right away, Saints haven't had any attempts other than that one. What to do, eh? A bit annoying Gomez plays and then injures himself, so poor Hendo still gotta play 2nd half now. Mina's cool, so's Bobby, just not quite sure our midfield of Elliot and Jones are really incisive. Realising more and more Jones loves to try, and Elliott isn't seeing much of the ball.

We'll still win from the bench if need be...

The Premier League is full of surprises as always and I too was surprised by Arsenal not winning but the fact is that maybe they took it easily.Tottenham from my point of view is the team that deserves the least to enter the Champions League based on how unstable they are but if they earn it,they deserve it then, that is the beauty of football.Unfortunately this ends this month and we have to wait until August for other great action.

Speaking of surprises, despite Liverpool being quite dominating, Southampton have just a taken an early lead against Liverpool, and I hope it doesn't become too hard for them to overturn this, because anything less than a win here would confirm City as the league winners.

No Salah or Mane, with Diaz on the bench too, means Liverpool are shot of their main attacking threats but would Firmino and Jota be able to save the day ?

Liverpool to win is now @ 2.10, fair deal ?

I personally think that they'll do well against The Saints and there is a glimmer of hope for them to get to the top so I doubt that they are going to lose either way. Aside from that Southampton only won once over the last 10 EPL games so I guess it should be another 3 points for Liverpool unless they pretty much screw this one up

I'm up for some last gameday drama  Cheesy

Now they'll need to depend on Tottenham to lose to an already relegated Norwich

Good chances for Son to score few more goals to outlead Salah

I really for a while thought Harry Kane would allow/offer Son to take the penalty against Burnley, but I understand that there's more at stake for team/club as a whole than Son winning the golden boot, and with Salah not available for the clash against Southampton and probably the last game too, Son chances is looks good.
