Anyway tonight, important game for Arsenal. Beat Crystal Palace and they have 2 games of cushion with only 9 games left!
~snip

yeah, in the end, it will a race between London rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham, with Manchester United just watching, despite popular belief that United will see CL next season
Arsenal should be good to win tonight, Premier is getting realistic scores in last few rounds

it is a longer round than usual, which concludes with another match for Everton, nightmare season, but hopefully Burnley will stay on four points difference after the match

Trofo buway is this supercomputer for real or just made up? I search for it and the news reports never show the supercomputer, sure it's not some guy in his garage? Smiley

Anyway, 80% chance is crazy, makes it big money to bet on them to win title, so have any of you done this yet?

Well done man, pipped me as well in the process. Was always going to be hard, but this is why you don't give up. Take note, rest of you bastards Wink

I have entered top 5 before actually but then I dropped out and now am going back in again, so you can probably do the same if you get lucky. And yes, it's definitely luck because exact scores are a gift of pure randomness I don't even think many people expect it.

Me and hahay have the LEAST exact scores in the top 10 but I have the most Close and most Slam points, so in reality I got the most correct results, but so many lost points on exact scores.

Spurs, what can I say? Haven't seen Conte celebrate like that for a while. Or I haven't watched enough Spurs games.

Just read that some supercomputer or whatnot is giving Liverpool 80% chances to lift the title this season. I would put it as 50:50, City with small points advantage and Liverpool with a bit better form.

The same supercomputer predicted Liverpool above Chelsea last year (this was when Chelsea were top) and 5/1 to win Champions League, a bit better than bookies at the time. It's already a bit off though as winner was supposed to end with less than 90 points, that's when I knew it was a dumb computer cause everyone knows City can't do below 90 points heh. Speaking of, how many of you guys look at FiveThirtyEight or Opta to help you bet?

I stick to form, followed by bookie odds (but the odds help me to bet where the value is actually), but I don't pay any attention to Opta. I've seen them put chances to win on 4/1 odds at 2% at kick off.

Alright, Man City didn't slip up. Maybe, I was being a little bit too hopeful. Liverpool didn't really struggle, but Watford gave a good showing. Potentially the league decider next week between Liverpool, and Man City. I guess going into the match as close as it is, probably is the best way. Definitely for neutrals, however as I said I'm going to be bricking it.

Just want to say, Joe Gomez really put in a shift this weekend, and is giving me some hope about the backup options we have for our full backs, especially when he can play CB too. Lets just hope he can stay fit from now on, without any major injuries.

Yeah, and they were in cruise control if we're being fair, while we had a bit more of a fight -- I'm just hoping Salah's frustrations turn into gold next Sunday.

Gomez's star seemed to wane for me in recent times so I'm also really pleased he took responsibility -- even the yellow he earned sort of proved this.

Odds for Liverpool dipped just below 34/10 after the weekend. I'm definitely going to wait for a Super Boost on the day itself, though if we beat Benfica I think the money will pile on Liverpool.

Yeah, the worry's always about our front 3 and the focus is always on them but we really look blunt when our fullbacks aren't around. What do you think of Tsimikas though? I admit I didn't rate him early on but there was a stretch of games earlier on where I think he really rose to Robbo's levels.
Tsimikas is a great addition to Liverpool squad and I think he would have much more minutes if he did not play at the position where only one guy can play and Robertson is top of pecking order on that left back. I watched him a couple of time when Robertson was not available and he was solid defensibly and looked very good going forward with good crosses almost every time. I don't think LFC has to worry about LB position in near future.

yeah, tough round, but somehow managed to get two exact scores, expected third goal from Liverpool, but it would be too much
I was too positive and went for 4 - 0 for Liverpool.

When there are draw matches, my luck is bound to be sucked. Three draw matchs and Chelsea losing against a team like Brentford was not suppose to be good for me but two exact score and one point from Liverpool was just fine for me. Having a spot on top 10 seems very tough lately.

Surprisingly many of us got exact scores. It's amazing to see two guys got 4 exact picks and five guys got 3 exat picks. How do you guys do that! 😉

I was even more positive and had Liverpool 5-0 because I thought Watford is most likely relegated this year so Liverpool will use that game to score a lot and to be in top form for their Champions League game.I also wonder when I saw that 16.5 points in the top spot which is doing really great in just 7 games played, most probably they had a lot of draws otherwise I cannot explain it otherwise.

Seems like a great round for a lot of people, and for some reason I even somehow managed to get my highest rank ever, 4th.

So happy, and I know it won't last long but I will keep trying here. The funny thing is I don't even know this league as well as I should and I'm doing much better than La Liga pool, this has been the case all season long too! I have to say it's proof that it's really really random.

what happened to Chelsea? did not looked at the match, but what a goal to lead, and then go down completely

Didn't watch or even see highlights, but the Rudiger goal was from at least 35 yards say the reports. Damn.

Apparently, Chelsea don't know how to deal with the high press, nor with counters, so Liverpool should take note if we end up meeting them again (you never know, Champions League?).

Spurs on my acca, Toons on my ML. Draw like United kills all my bets, so please don't draw =)

What results, and what bad luck for me this round, couldn't even win bets or points in pool 'cept from 2 games. But seriously, well done Hoody Hoo, Joca, casper, etc. And Unknown, wow. 3 exact scores. Damn this pool is incredibly tight. Not that it never was, but even with so many pulling out, it's final quarter of the season and still bunched like crazy up top!

Eriksen story definitely the highlight of this weekend for me.

I guess taking the safe route is also one of the option unless you are confident that your upset prediction is going to get you some points then go ahead but considering the points spread from #1 to #10 isnt that wide then its pretty risky with still 10 rounds to go.

Unless of course you decide to go for either taking down that #1 spot or nothing lol

That's what I did the last couple of rounds and this though, trying to take the risk to distance myself thinking 5/6 points needs to be 10/11 points, but that's exactly when I lost top spot haha. Win some lose some. Villa really let me down back to back, so painful.

I never thought I'd find some one I enjoyed more than John Arne Riise in a wide defensive position, but both Robertson, and Trent have proven me wrong. Might be a little bias, but I genuinely believe they're the best in the world in their positions, and by quite some margin. Their assist numbers alone are crazy, and without both of them we wouldn't be competing with Manchester City at the top of the table.

Yeah, I even will say I enjoyed the sparks from others like Arbeloa or Enrique (who played the Legends match) but they really couldn't touch the cloth on Riise -- I really loved him too despite the horror of him removing his shirt to celebrate haha.

On the right I've never really taken to anyone, Glen Johnson and Clyne always felt like they played for so long, and then even Milner there sometimes, so before Trent, I always felt like we were pretty average there, so yeah maybe a bit of bias from me as well but he's just so many rungs up from everyone else in my opinion. Criminal that he's not even England's first choice, but I suppose I get that the formation exposes him even more.

I agree that im in a solid position to attack the first place, its only 7.5 points difference.

7.5 points differences is like 2-3 rounds if you are getting decently good points ahead of the current #1 but he is a pretty tough one to crack.

Now i think we need to change the tactics. Mostly everyone plays the same bets and we need to bet different honestly. Also hopefully much more harder matches will come so that it isnt easy to predict so that everyone can surprise in the pool

Well first time i changed my tactics in a long time on favorites and went with City 0-2 and got there 3 points, but what a shame that Aston Villa didnt score in the last minutes, i badly needed a draw in that match to go into 5th place and now still at 7th place. I think everything would have been good if it wasnt for that Wolves match. Man Utd match isnt that important now because everyone picked 2-1. Now its 1-1 so i think this might even go to 2-1.

WTF happened with Chelsea? I saw they scored a goal and went out. Then I came back and they lost the game 1:4. Never thought Brendford had it in them. I am glad Eriksen is back to playing football. He now scored in PL and he played a lot of minutes for Denmark during international break as well. The world needs some good/positive stories at the moment.

I guess they have their focus somewhere else which is the Champions League, they have a very difficult encounter with Real Madrid just a couple of days later so most probably they didn't give their 100% of their capacity today. They thought that if we score and keep the result good enough for us,if we cannot, nothing we will do as we will face Real Madrid later,I guess this was the reason of the Chelsea result today.

Ha thanks for the confidence Trofo but it already does not look good for my picks. Thought was being smart to back the away teams Southampton and Villa but they both look like will end the half a goal down.

Hope to see a huge turnaround and get points too as anyway I did predict a goal each for the home teams.

Liverpool Betbuilder sadly did not hit. All I needed was one more yellow for Watford.

I’m totally out of the running for the prizes this year (plays violin). I’m glad that sportsbet.io sponsored the pool though, with the opportunity of a free bet for the yellow cap each match week. It still keeps me motivated, now I’m off to put my predictions in.

Still over 9 rounds to go i think you can try and maybe attack that 10th position, but for that you need to bet really different then others due and get a lot of correct results. At least try and be on top of each week to get the yellow cap. This pool is amazing because of the weekly prize and overall prize. Im still fighting hard for that 1st position but it will be extremely hard honestly.

I think you have all the chances of this world to win the top spot if you really manage to get really good results in a consistent way during these remaining weeks.A good thing is that usually in these last weeks a lot of games are in the same day thus giving you more or less optimism, after all you are just 8 points away and these points can even be passed with just two really good weeks.I also am about 22 points away from that 10th place but I have no hopes of reaching it.

The City/Liverpool game next week should be a great one to watch.
Aye, great for a neutral. I for one will be shitting myself before the game, and likely all the way up until that final whistle goes. We've got so much riding on it, plus still being in all other competitions, we could put a historic season together, although I'm hoping thats not going to be our downfall. For me, the Premier League is the biggest prize considering our history with it. Plus, winning it again under Klopp would cement his success, rather than rival fans claiming it was a one off thing.

City for the last few outings have been extremely good against us. A few years ago I wasn't too nervous going into the match as we always seemed to cause them to make mistakes under our pressing.
That one is the game of the season for sure and will probably determine the champion if it does not end up as a draw. Just because stakes are so high I sort of think we will be disappointed with the game and it will end 0:0 or 1:1 at the best. I am glad it is played next week so that both clubs can shake of international fatigue and give their best.

This round looks like a lot of favorites but I am sure there will be some surprises. Buwaytress this is the time for you to shine Smiley
