Soon as I talked about this "2-1" score, changed my Brentford to 2-1 and it hit, 2 exacts on 2-1. I haven't really been paying attention to it as 3-1, 3-0 and 2-0 have been my favourite picks this season in EPL, mainly because the way they seem to be scoring goals (even... dare I say, Wolves, have become that team).

Anyway, prepare for a season of English football in Europe next season. Because of Conference, domestic placing already sees 7 teams go to Europe (Spurs was the lucky Conference devirginiser this season).

BUT Liverpool won Carabao cup (winner is Conference league also) AND cannot finish lower than 5th, so the extra space transfers to 8th place.

Liverpool/Chelsea will also win FA Cup, so they free up a spot in Europa as neither team can finish lower than 6th (well, technically, Chelsea still could, but they'd have to lose 3/4 games, to let Spurs, Arsenal, United catch up, but... yeah right?). So Europa spot transfers also.

Another curious thing that might happen: if City/Liverpool win UCL, then one lucky country 11th in UEFA coefficient, gets a bye to CL group stage (as they won't need to meet English team to qualify). This is Scotland currently, but if Russia don't see themselves able to play, Scotland becomes 10th, so the lucky country becomes... Ukraine. Shakhtar/Dynamo Kyiv in group stage?

So sad that Brentford scored the goal in the 95 th minute just ruined some huge points for me. That goal in the end killed my 3 points and i could have been so close to that first place. I would have moved from 6th to 4th but now far away,oh well hopefully i win some nice points tommorow
Something that was sad for you, can makes others happy. If Brentford would not score that goal then I would have 0 points last evening LOL. This is really a low scoring round so far.

The goal saved the day for me, and a couple of others I'd say. I'd have dropped by a few positions if not.
I already dropped from 10th to 11th LOL

Do not forget to put in picks for tomorrow there is one BIG game. As a neutral,,, I am hoping for a lot of goals, so please United, do not let us down by parking the bus when you have half of the world stars in your team  Grin

Also, we need to be less in the headline for letting our advantage go. I am in second minds usually about letting big teams win but watching Liverpool,,, you do not even feel bad if they win.

they're by all means possible trying NOT to play in the champions league next season, aren't they ?
they got bullied by Bayern Munich so much they don't want to go to the CL anymore  Grin

What is happening with that 4th CL spot, it seems like all the contenders try their best to miss it and play in EL.
i think the same thing happened one season or two seasons ago? literally every team fighting for top 4 was dropping points left and right, it was wild

@tomahawk9 Maguire is a gem. Thanks for the TrollFootball twitter. My quality of life has improved.

Brentford is playing too well and I think it is all because of Ericksen. He seems to be on each and every goal they get if it by a corner he does or by a touch pass. The guy is unbelievable since joining the squad.
They will certainly be back in the EPL next season.
I was backing the draw.

We'll find out soon enough, since they're going to be playing Liverpool shortly. I'm thinking another dismantling is in store. I'm going to go a little more conservative, and say a 4-0, although arguably Manchester United haven't improved much from the last time we played them, but Liverpool certainly are at the top of their game right now, with some momentum behind them with the recent run we've had. Plus the extra motivation from the quadruple still being all to play for.

Liverpool need those 3 points badly and its on Anfield so they are probably going to win but honestly 4-0 is a bit too much. Thinking of Liverpool winning 1-0 or 2-1 but this is probably me getting hopium that United going to hold it somehow ( or winning the game which is kinda impossible ). One thing for sure though, Maguire is probably going to do some mistake in defending thus making Liverpool score those goals

Update! Superbru works for me again (panic, relief).

So I just saw the standings, crazy day again at the office for London big boys. They really, really, really don't want 4th spot huh?

Oh yeah for sure Brighton's goal saved us all. From 1 point to 4 for me (I really need to give this 2-1 thing more attention, I've been changing picks a lot and not giving 2-1 as much love as I should).

@tomahawk9 Maguire is a gem. Thanks for the TrollFootball twitter. My quality of life has improved.

It looks like neither of them wants, nor Arsenal nor Tottenham as they keep being not consistent and losing games against weaker opponents,Tottenham screwing it up much more than Arsenal because Tottenham was playing at home while I can justify up to a certain point Arsenal that was playing away.In the end you cannot get to the 4th place by losing games against weaker opponents especially now which after this week, only 4 remain to play plus some behind schedules games.

Nothing went wrong except for Pogba getting kicked in the face by Maguire lol. I swear that everytime this guy play, he always does something weird though. Really hate to say this but It was a close one in the end, Ronaldo saved the team against the worst team in EPL. How bad could United be if they are playing against any other top 5 teams with their current sorry state
I laughed so hard on that. It is corner situation and I see Pogba pissed as hell checking his head, thinking now we will have VAR and penalty for Ronaldo. Then they show it in slow-mo and you get to see how Maguire kicks him in the face.

What is happening with that 4th CL spot, it seems like all the contenders try their best to miss it and play in EL. Both Spurs and Arsenal shitting the bad this time around.

I would like to apologize for everyone who put Spurs in for the win,,, I actually was deep down thinking they were too good to last this long, and I think Welsh and buway were talking about Brighton maybe winning. But as a fan how I could put them to lose?

Ulven is the big winner with 2 exact picks, I guess last minute goals made a few of us happy Smiley

Congrats to Liverpool people. 100% deserved.

Yeah any result is not really surprising anymore at this point but honestly, this should be clearly 3 points for United especially when its on Old Trafford against the worst team in EPL so imagine how harsh the fans would react if somehow they cant secure 3 points
Man Utd starting XI: De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Pogba, Elanga, Lingard, Sancho, Fernandes, Ronaldo
J Lingz is back, Pogba all alone in the midfield... what could go wrong, right? 🤔

With Maguire being at the heart of defence, everything could go wrong. But I hope not, I've got 2 - 0 for Man United here.

Damn! Too bad, I also had some money on Arsenal too, they're by all means possible trying NOT to play in the champions league next season, aren't they ?

The last minute goal from Brentford help savaged my position in the pool, having missed out on Arsenal and Tottenham.

With Maguire being at the heart of defence, everything could go wrong.

Impressed by Norwich, they kept on fighting. Obviously, it's not going to be enough to keep them up this season. I do think Everton might narrowly escape regelation just because the rest of the teams are also really struggling for points. Plus, while Everton's up, and coming fixtures look rather bleak for them, the rest of their competition at the bottom of the table also have some pretty dire fixture lists.

It'll be interesting now to see how Man City bounce back from their FA cup defeat today against Liverpool. They've had a tough week, a very difficult game in the champions league, then obviously drawing with us, and then finally getting knocked out of the FA cup, which was a fairly competitive game in the second half. They're going up against Brighton next, and dare I say it I see them dropping points. Think Brighton might just have enough to keep it 0-0.

EDIT: Just a moment after typing this, Brighton scored and looks to be going home with all 3 points...
And if they would not win then I would need to be happy with 1 point from 4 matches. Not a good round for me, kicked me out from top 10 so far. With at least one exact score few users benefited from this upsetting round so far. I really need some exact scores to hit if I want to stay in the race. Let's hope we do not see any draw match and anymore unexpected results.

there was a several rounds with all expected results, and Tottenham, Arsenal wins were main part of those, while only United did not win their matches
today is completely opposite

Watford is one-foot in Championship, and they put fingers from other foot in Championship today as well, it will be very hard for them to pull more than few points in last seven rounds

Meanwhile Tottenham, after 12 goals in 3 games are still yet find a goal against Brighton and there's only just about 4 minutes + stoppage left to play here  Angry
