I know I've long embraced the wooden spoon (I promise I'll do better at committing to picks in the future Cheesy), but here's my predictions for tonight's match between Norwich, and Watford. I actually think it's going to be a non eventful game, ending in a 0 - 0. If anything I see Pukki potentially netting a goal for Norwich. Watford have looked rather lackluster in all departments recently, even when they've gotten a result. Norwich haven't been much better though.

I've also got the Norwich/Watford game at 0-0. Think they could cancel each other out. Both have 6 losses in a row other than their last games where Watford drew and Norwich won. Can't pick a winner so it's gonna have to be a draw for me.

I've also got Wolves to win 2-0 against Brentford on the weekend. If I was going to put a lot of money on it, I'd say Wolves at least keep a clean sheet so betting against  BTTS (both teams to score) market might actually be the best bet to make.

I've got a draw for this as well. If I had to pick a winner Wolves should edge it but away at Brentford I think I'll have to take the draw. Brentford's recent form looks pretty bad on paper but they've played all the giants - Man United, Liverpool and Man City within their last 5 games.

I really hope it will go totally opposite of your predictions. I have Watford ML on the ticket and since they are the team with double games this week I have both Dennis and King in my fantasy squad. I would be very happy with result like 5:1 Smiley

But realistically, as you said, it will probably be low scoring boring affair. I went with 2:1 in our pool.

Hope you win your prediction today for Watford vs Norwich match. Got same 2:1 so hopefully the end result will just be that. Probobly both teams will be scared to due something because this is an important match. But if it opens up with a goal at start we will see some goals.

Today we have again action in the Premier League starting the week with Watford vs Norwich game.I think if Watford cannot win this game they deserve to be relegated,I also think that it should not be that easy for them to win tonight,Norwich did one upset against Everton which is stronger than Watford.

This is the night to turn things around for Watford and I am going to risk it and bet on them money line to at least win this game.

Partey with a straight red in tonight's cup fixture against Liverpool, and what looked to be quite a few tired legs out there by the end of the match. Might be worth considering this when your doing your predictions for the weekend. If I was to predict anything, I'd go with a 0-0 draw.

I would have watched this game if my team went through instead of Chelsea but I do hope Liverpool win this, not Chelsea. Just to remind everyone that Chelsea had to beat Aston Villa and Southampton on penalties to get to this stage, of course Liverpool also did with Leicester City but arguable,,, in a more exciting fashion.

@Welsh I had no idea how bad it was with Digne,,, I just read now that actually he fell out with Rafa. This was one of Everton's best players I wonder why or how a club reaches a point they make enemies with player manager within months and then get sold. But all good for Villa I guess.

And yes,,, I am the happiest person on earth. Spurs won and what a way we won!
I'm not entirely sure how the board allowed it to happen, especially since they must have been considering moving on Rafa at that point. I don't think the problem ends with Rafa, the board seem to be a little bit clueless at times too. Obviously, as a Liverpool fan I'm loving it. I remember genuinely being a little worried a few seasons ago when they started to do some real nice business in the transfer market. Not because I worried they'd over take us, its just the idea of a rival getting better, and somewhat competitive for titles. Thank god it never really amounted to anything.

Very bad move and the fans must be the most upset,,, to lose your best player to a direct rival and not even for a manager you want to keep. I know what you mean though I always feel like Arsenal are going to overcome us again finally but I guess looking at the way they play now, it is not happening soon Wink Sorry I know I should support Arsenal because of Sportsbet but the problem is I support Spurs Wink

Indeed, crazy ending in Leicester - Spurs game. It looked like it took maybe 30 seconds for Bergwijn to score 2 goals, but officially he scored on 95th and 97th minute.
Finally I got yellow cap. I think it's my first yellow cap since Sportsbet started to give free bets to it's winners. Up by 7 places and I'm getting closer to top 20. And just 29 points behind 1st place lol.

That is great and congrats on your first yellow cap,I am yet to win a single one by myself only, one time I won it but it was divided in points with another user and that user got the better scores and slam points so he got it.

Yeah the standings change a lot in days like these when with a week where most of us do badly there is that guy who did best and won several positions like you. These kind of weeks can be a game changer in the end of the tournament.

Yeah holy f*ck what the hell happened, just like when I was expecting one more goal from Leicester to get that perfect score I had 3-1 for Leicester in the last minutes of the game Tottenham turned everything around

yeah, I was waiting for a game to finish to have exact score on Leicester, and they conceived two goals
shit happens

had a rough few weeks in the pool, but still on position 6
nevertheless, we are looking on full round on weekend, at the moment, and should be interesting, no big derbies, but Chelsea is playing Tottenham

Im shocked really.Such a bad week for me and so unlucky. I had 2-1 for Leicester in this match and i was thinking finally good 3 points to save this round and Tottenham just scored 2 fast goals and killed my hopes. Hopefully next round will be better.

There was 12 seconds on the clock of added time before Tottenham scored their third to win the game apparently. Unfortunately for me, I tuned in to watch Manchester United just to see how their new manager is doing. It was largely an uneventful game, despite it being high scoring. I thought it was pretty poor, the only entertaining part for me was seeing Ronaldo throw a tantrum that he got taken off.

^  Benitez is a legend at Liverpool because he won them the UCL at a time when Liverpool were past their best days and during a decade when their biggest rival, United, was winning the league and so were Chelsea and Arsenal.  So if you were a Liverpool supporter, that UCL title win was probably one big ‘fu’ on everybody.  Maybe it could even be considered a more important UCL title win than Klopp’s...  Dunno, we have to ask LFC_Bitcoin about that.
Recency bias might mean a lot of Liverpool fans say Klopp. The thing is how we won the tournament with Klopp was magical. Though, Benitez achieved something that we probably wasn't really expected to win. Klopp on the other hand was building up to greatness, and I think a lot of people just thought it was a matter of time.

I personally prefer Klopp's reign, but that's probably because I'm just overall a bigger fan of him as a manager instead of what hes achieved compared to Rafa. Though, I must say, and this might be recency bias again, but under Klopp we've truly had some magical moments. Back when Lallana scored, and ran to Klopp, the Barcelona Corner with Origi becoming a legend of a substitute, and finally winning the Premier League. Plus, Alison's recent goal to keep us in a champions league spot, as well as Nat Phillips turning himself into cult hero during a time where our entire defense was out injured. Its been a crazy ride under Klopp, and at least in the last decade is probably unrivaled by anyone from a Liverpool's perspective.

Probably all Liverpool fans well-liked Rafa, but not on his team bench. He is fine when Rafa is on Everton (their one of the biggest rivals), certainly not because there is a possibility that it will bring them great results.
The funny thing is he was well liked before, however since he's sold Evertons arguably best player in Digne, and put them close to the regelation spot, he's probably become loved Cheesy.

Wow guys, what on earth happened at King Power? Watched it for a bit then switched to United/Brentford, thinking after 2-1 Leicester, I'd end up with no points. Then 96th and 97th minute, Bergwijn of all people scores two goals and Spurs get a massive win for Conte. Odds were at least 45/1 when I last checked around 80th min!

Close score to start off the night, crazy!

At least Manchester United is not making any mistakes and I hope to get a close or an exact result in this match.

Rafa is quite an overrated manager (in my personal opinion). Yes, he is winning UCL with Liverpool, to be honest with a lot of luck. besides what he did significantly? wherever he was, he was sacked very quickly. After the Liverpool period, he leads Inter, Real, Chelsea, Everton, Napoli it had below-average results everywhere. Maximum one year in each of these clubs. (I'm not considering Newcastle and Dalian Chinese club, because they may be happy with the average results)

Well if Welsh and buwaytress say he is well liked in Liverpool then I understand he did not only something for their football but for their community which is rare for players and managers to do,,, but I understand also this is something a little bit unique for Liverpool where many players and managers feel part of the community there.

I would say any manager would win with luck at Liverpool in 2004 but this manager happened to be Rafa Benitez Smiley

Burnley 6 postponements? They may find the time but will their opponents?
Let's just say we are in for some interesting times. Keep in mind there will be further covid postponements as well as postponements due to league cup and FA cup. Fantasy nightmare but that is material for the other topic Smiley

Brendford - United today, 3 points for United for sure, otherwise they can scrap season and start building for the next one.

@leea Rafa isn't loved at Everton the club, but believe me, he'll be fine. The city he already loves and is part of a lot of things there, long before he took charge of Toffees. He'll be fine;)

Brighton were the better side for me overall, and the point was deserved. Tuchel is got some real work to do.
Brighton is a serious club and they always defend well. I expected this to be though for Chelsea but still I picked 2:1 win for them.

On another note, will Burnley ever play a match in Premier League or are they waiting for relegation? If I am counting ok they now have 6 postponements. Really getting ridiculous in some cases. Imagine a situation where Bunley brings a couple of high profile players during this transfer window and then wins all those postponed games. Totally irregular, but not gonna happen.

They were, weren't they! That guy Lamptey on the wing and the big hair guy on the left, they made things look exciting, they even had crisper passing at times than Chelsea, and they deserved a win I think. Lukaku disappointing, they got their goal from a long range effort that probably should have saved.
