We all know Ronaldo has a winning mentality, and is one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League, but I don't think he's what is needed at Man Utd.

He was probably not. Lets break this down though, Ole had a good season with the team last season and the team ended up 2nd. Yeah it wasnt good enough but it was 2nd and its still great, he had all his plans worked out last season with all players of his selection then he ended up signing Jordan Sancho which he might need this season

All of sudden the management decided to sign Ronaldo which he probably doesnt need all because City was about to sign him up. Obviously he didnt need Ronaldo in his plan and he had no option to bench Ronaldo so yeah everything didnt work out for him and probably it wont work with Rangnick as well

Pogba has looked brilliant in spells, but overall doesn't look like hes bothered to play.

Yeah he wants to leave so he is not really bothered with any result that the team will get this season

I have predicted a narrow win for Manchester United in tonight game but I don't know why I have this gut feeling that Manchester United will lose tonight game.I see a lot of friends betting on 1/1 meaning Manchester United to win both the first and second half of the game, most of them even adding clean sheet from Manchester United but I told them I don't trust United anymore, you can expect anything from them.

For the pool the results of this last week have been average,no one moved up or down significantly but let's see what happens on January 1 up to 3 which will be the next round.Hopefully we won't have a lot of postponed games.

I never expected that performance from Liverpool yesterday, totally disappointing and they lost quite a few valuable points in the title fight. If Manchester City wins tonight things will get very difficult for Liverpool to follow and they may totally focus on the Champions League rather than fighting on the two fronts.Probably because of this tight schedule but that schedule was also tight for West Ham as they played their third game in 6 days and they completely destroyed Watford.

Leicester were lucky really. Only one person backed the Leicester win and nobody went for a draw. Nobody backed the draw on the Chelsea game either, though Brighton got the equaliser in injury time. Fucked up my acca as well haha.

I wonder if there could be an upset in the Man United game tonight? I've gone for a comfortable home win but Burnley have cranked out 5 draws in their last seven games and I'm not sure I trust United that much right now especially as they drew to Newcastle last week so another draw wouldn't surprise me.

Bloody Chelsea, I swear any time I put a bet on Chelsea they end up doing what I predict, but they manage to at least mess up one of my bet builder options. For example, I had them to be drawing at half time, and then drawing at full time. Brighton missed a few shots, and I thought the Lukaku goal despite being a decent goal from him should have been defended better.

I've been so close to winning big money with the bet builder, but I usually fall at the first hurdle. This time it was Chelsea, I bet the rest of the games I have on it will come in.

Chelsea were on the Skybet super boost acca and were the only team to let me down.

That Manchester United squad is brimming with talent they just can't seem to get on with each other, and there probably needs to be major adjustments to how they play or move on the players that are causing the issues. I don't think Ronaldo is good for that team, yeah hes been vital the last season getting much needed goals, but overall his attitude or ego if you will likely has a negative effect on the squad overall. I've watched Manchester United a few times this season, and they seem to always want to play through Ronaldo whenever he plays which takes the effect of Rashford, and the like away.

I'd say Ronaldo, Pogba, and Maguire need to be moved on. Not only for their performances, but their attitude, as well as their influence within the dressing room. We all know Ronaldo has a winning mentality, and is one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League, but I don't think he's what is needed at Man Utd. Pogba has looked brilliant in spells, but overall doesn't look like hes bothered to play. Maguire was a poor signing from the start, and should have never been near a starting player for Manchester United.

I can imagine Ron causes a lot of drama behind the scenes and other players won't like the special treatment he gets. Probably not nice playing in his shadow. He probably think he's too good for the team right now. I wonder if he'll leave at the end of the season when his contract runs out. Not sure where else he would go though. I can't imagine him sticking it out with Man U if they don't win anything which isn't looking likely this season.

then let him engage in politics, why he takes a salary from a football club.
I saw many hardcore MU supporters who do not want to hear any criticism of him, it certainly gives him the comfort of not having to work hard on the field. nothing performs better than Martial, and this one is currently on the margin.
I think the criticism of Rashford is a little unjust. He's been fantastic for most of his career, and Manchester United fans jumping on him while the whole Manchester United squad is stealing a living isn't quite fair. He's young, and probably has one of the highest ceilings in the squad.

I like Rashford too but you are totally right here,,, he did a lot of good charity projects especially about the food program and this is why he is loved.

Anyway, I know a lot of Manchester United fans are excited by the new manager, but they're expecting miracles from the exact same team which hasn't shown the desire, the skill or any sort of motivation. A new manager isn't going to change that unless they're a character like Klopp, which I don't believe the new manager is.

last night just tried to find the proper title, you described it best. Trashford.
Trashford  Grin good one
heh 😂
but on a serious note, he's been so poor after the shoulder surgery, but the managers (ralf and Ole a few weeks ago) keep backing him and putting him in the starting XI even thougn he's not in good form simply because Marcus is a fan favorite. He needs to start from the bench, give Sancho or Cavani more minutes

But this should not blind the team and managers to his worth. I would say the same for my club in Harry Kane. Popular figure and yes he scored 2 goals in 2 games now,,, but if you see his performance he should not have stayed so long as 1st choice. A mature team is like Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. They will never play a fan or even his own favorite if they feel the player is not up to standard!

Lol casper, but I watched United game before that and Rashford, Fernandes were shooting wildly: high, wide, and even miles off course I couldn't believe my eyes. Mane at least was actually... aiming directly at keeper all the time, and even Salah did heh.

But anyway, enough said about the loss. It looks like we do keep Salah for Chelsea and then we have to be without our boys anyway for a month.

Just can't wait to rip into some team, preferable City.

but on a serious note

here is one after Liverpool draw

United is the only match today, since Everton is cancelled
they are playing "binary" football since Ole left, scores 1:1, 1:0, should we expect more goals tonight from United? I think that it will be the case, time to trash some team

It was as you say, very solid performance from reds in first half but they missed a lot of chances, that penalty plus rebound from Salah and that Mane chance are a must score. Afterwards it was more difficult and Leicester managed to contain them well.
The part of the game I was actually disappointed in terms of performance was immediately after the goal, and for around 10 minutes after. That's the only time Leicester looked settled. In fact, watching the first half I was absolutely convinced that the Leicester City defense was going to gift us a goal because they kept spilling passes, and making poor decisions.

Mane should have scored when he skied it. Salah should have really got the rebound at least, though it was difficult because the ball sort of hanged in the air. I thought Jota with his half chance of a volley should have at least got it on target. We were unlucky with a few headers, including VVD who probably should have done better.

The performance was there, and as long as we have our shooting boots on we probably win that game convincingly. I'm not too concerned about our performance, I'm concerned about Manceshter City sort of falling into a lot of luck recently, and Chelsea to be honest. Chelsea should have lost their last few games, and have been bailed out a few times by the opposition making some truly bizarre decisions. Though, the tackle on Salah last night was pretty bizarre from Ndidi I'll admit.

~Betwrong yellow cap at 10.5 points, not bad.
~

Thank you! I can't believe my eyes!

After so many weeks sitting at the 44th place, finally, finally something! Smiley

Since recently I've started to do more research before making my predictions, and it paid off well!  (sorry for so many exclamation points, I'm so happy and excited)

Trust me, I am feeling so happy every time I get yellow cap, even in pools I don't get any prizes for it hehe, so I understand the feeling and as we only have half season left to go, only 19 more yellow caps, so every one of them is precious.

I make research every game actually, since I'm not so familiar with English league, but maybe I need to switch my sources.

Tumi, hahay, Sojourner are all changing places at the top every week. Totally amazing to see, and you know what? Hahay and Sojourner are also 1st/2nd in Serie A and La Liga pools.

So we need to start taking their analysis seriously man. Or maybe they are twins, who are you guys? lol

It actually wasn't a bad performance when you consider the amount of chances we created, but missed. Just wasn't our night, I'm sure Manchester City as well as Chelsea will have days like that.

Chelsea is not playing well at the moment and they will spill a lot of points for sure. They will also miss some sitters after Werner gets back into the team Smiley
City on the other hand looks unstoppable at the moment, and their bench which allows them to completely rest 4-5 players without loosing quality is gonna get them even further ahead in this busy schedule. Last week they had Foden, Grelish and Jesus on bench, only Foden got a couple of minutes, I am expecting them to start and maybe Sterling and Mahrez to rest today.

Bloody Liverpool, I'm trying my best to not be reactionary. Though, it does seem like the idea of a title bid is slowly drifting away. Although, Man City haven't always looked the best at times during this season. Only recently have they looked to solve their goal scoring issues. Plus, I think they've had the luck of the draw recently with playing against weakened teams. Still, the result tonight wasn't a good one, in a game we should be winning by three or four goals if only we could have finished them.

rdbase: I see you doing well the past few weeks entire December. What you smoking?

He is the only one picking Leicester wins. Now I am also very interested for that commodity. whether that dealer accepts Bitcoin?

skipped betting on Spurs, but had them 1:1 in the pool, and exact propelled me on third place, best I have ever been

when Leicester scored, I thought it will finish 1:2, for another exact, but poor neighbors are now down 6 points from City, and although not having city rival as title holder is great, I really do not like City, so tough choice, and Chelsea is not helping

I really don't like both, City and Liverpool but it’s kind of fu****g karma.
btw. After a long time, today I am watching the table, you are very solid positioned, just a few points behind the top place. You're my favourite here (I am giving up from my chances).

And no matter how bad Norwich is, they're still just 3 points away from safe zone. Newcastle and Burnely just isn't much better. BTW, check difference between goals scored and conceded by these teams. It's huge.
Newcastle got the big point against United yesterday but their two most dangerous players, Saint Maximin and Wilson got injured and were subbed. I am not sure how long they will be out but without them Newcastle will score even less goals and they are just coming to the patch of nicer fixtures, they play all the teams from position 17-12 almost in a row. This game could prove very expensive for them since these will be the games that will decide relegation battle.

Yeah, after red card and Spurs goal, I put live bet on their win. But as usual, they disappointed me.

I'm still finding a way to figure out how it is that I went for Norwich to win against Crystal Palace in the pool  Angry

Dude Norwich are turning out to be one of the worst PL teams ever. I see what you’re trying to do though to pick up clever points. I do it a lot too, it’s probably why I’m doing so badly Cheesy

Here’s hoping LFC batter Leicester.

I think its smart to bet only on favorites and just keep doing that.I would never now chase this teams that are in the mud and are struggling to survive. All bets should be just against them. But a huge win by Crystal Palace didnt expect such a big win from them.

Truth is I would never have expected even a draw from Norwich, I really didn't know that it was Norwich I had, If I had checked my picks again, I most definitely would have a changed it, but there's no point ranting over spilled milk, I guess.

LFC for the win tonight right ?!
