That's some nice rewards, more so coming from a freebet.

It must be said that the red card literally change the game, Chelsea were the better side before the red card and are forced to sit back in the 2nd half, It could have been a whole lot different even if the penalty was awarded and James didn't get sent off, but rules are rules, I suppose.

They looked just a tad better yes, but the glancing header was something special and Liverpool actually had more shots and chances, just a bit poor at the end. If Elliot were just a shade better at finishing and more courageous (had at least a couple of chances but opted to pass), maybe. But yeah, surprised Chelsea just sat back but they were probably happier with the draw than we were. Impossible to crack when we're not at our creative best.

No surprise quite a few people got exact scores;) Boo.

I had LFC to win, so I got a goose egg.  Boo!

Chelsea did look like the better side, even with only ten men.  They couldn't help but give LFC all those chances, but they did a good job keeping them away form the goal for the most part.  Ironically LFC's best chances were during that fiasco that got James red-carded, while Chelsea still had 11 men.

I've never had it worse before, I got Liverpool to win too...

I've only accrued 2.5 points from 7 games played already, I'm down to 41 position for the week  Sad

I didn’t score any points in this match, even so I made up for the failure with a tiny rate that should theoretically recoup all of today's losses.

By the way, here is the standard of a true and devoted Liverpool fan ... even in a notoriously losing situation [according to the majority], LFC_Bitcoin is unshakable, betting on the defeat of his worst enemies, (considering all this, I immediately wanted to cashout my tiny bet).  Grin

Disclaimer: I don’t know for sure, but I hope that everything is in order, that I have published a part of the forecast of the pool participants for the upcoming match.

Liverpool game just returned me back on top and this is good because I just had 2.5 points before, with Liverpool correct score I got to 5.5 which is not bad.I am starting to like being at the top but I don't think after the three games of tomorrow I will be there again but I am hopeful I won't lose that many places.

We need a new left-sided midfielder. I'm starting to miss Gini already  Undecided

Yeah, those draws killed me, and the funny thing is this season I actually thought to predict more draws -- so I did get the exact score on Newcastle (thanks VAR and sorry NotATether).

Also thanks VAR for the Liverpool game. Think the sending off was a tad harsh but then it was a clear Mane goal prevented with Reece's arm and the ref didn't have a choice. Lovely to see the red mist descend on Chelski after that heh. Hope we smash a few more in.

I think there’s a rule...  If it’s a pen then it’s also a red card.  It can’t be either.  It’s no pen, no red card or both pen and red card.  If you watch the replay you could see the arm had a little swipe on the ball.

It's still all square and 5 minutes to go, Mendy with some really impressive saves to keep Chelsea in the game...

Arsenal, Lol. I think putting a score of 4-0 is already a high score which is difficult to be an exact score. But the fact is, only in the first half City can lead by 3-0 and then not even 10 minutes into the second half City have added another goal. Maybe City will still score again considering there is still a lot of time left now. That way, it feels like my hopes have been dashed to get the exact score points. Cheesy

I had on City 3-1 and was expecting at least one goal by Arsenal but they are really useless. But so far im expecting lots of points from this 5 matches are all going okay and can bring me points if it plays out right.
Arsenal have nothing left only their name for them.
3 games 0 points 0 goals scored and 9 conceded.
This game they were too poor to imagine ad they did not show any reaction during the second half, and they were just a spectator of City's many passes and possession, which reached 80%, so that the London team suffered a deserved defeat, after he only got one goal attempt and it was not even on target for the entire match, compared to 25 for his City.

I did really bad this week so far,had Newcastle to win 2-1 which was an exact result as long as 98 minute they were hit by Southampton and boom 2-2 as a result. Also had Aston Villa and Brighton to win together with West Ham which all didn't win so far,2.5 points is my lowest this year but there are a few more games which I can try and improve my score. The people who predicts draws usually are the ones who did really well in this round so far as we had three draws.

Thanks a lot VAR for ruining my Newcastle - Southampton prediction at the last minute. Now I just have a bunch of draws to show, and a measly 3 points from these 5 games.

Lets hope LFC - Chelsea is better.

Arsenal gets a red card at 35' and basically falls apart after that. I read some guys on twitter predicting 0-5 for Arsenal, 1-2 etc I'm glad I went for the long shot in city though even now it looks like they're going to stun everybody with a stupidly high 7-0 result.

As usual for Arsenal, great 5 minutes of football, then 85 minutes of being annihilated...\

It was a one sided affair from start to finish, Xhaka never just seize to amaze me, what needles and horrible tackle, lucky for Cancelo to have escaped to full effect of the tackle, It was a deserved red card!

We've the tricky 3PM fixtures up next, these are usually the first set of hurdles the week potential winners needs to jump first, Brighton or Everton Roll Eyes

Arsenal! Match started so don't mind saying I went for the boring City win, but hedged that with an Arsenal outlay. Boring slow start so far and then a punt up to Ferran. Hoping for fireworks, not least cause of Blackjack;)

I am sure that community picks are same as what bookies place as favourite outcome. Usually with much bigger percentages as well. If you tried some pool betting pages you probably know what i mean. Odds on such pages drop very low favourites but there can be real value bets found on outsiders.

Yeah you see this also on those p2p betting sites that do parimutuel where everyone bets on the 1x2 markets and winning side splits the pool proportional to your share of the total stakes. Absolutely worst odds on favourites but if you're lucky you find a market no one likes, and the effective odds can be really insane.

Never saw this move coming. It was all City in the news and then bam - United done deal.

No one saw this coming, the deal was literally hijacked with relative ease and it didn't even take a minute for all terms to reached and everything to be finalised, It really was easy for Man Utd to make contact due to the past relationship and what the deal would have meant for the fans and Ronaldo himself...

It's a big win for the club already, the club stocks was said to have soared by more 8% since the announcement 🥳

I mean, we did get an early warning about this a few months ago, in the form of him wanting to finish his career at United and then at Sporting.

Kinda surprising how everyone (including him) was talking about wanting to go to City and then at the last minute he switches to United. I do agree though that United fans would've been pissed if that happened though.

Man. United now back in the title race at the expense of City (and that has me worried with my EPL wager on sportsbet.io, City in top 2 , same with PSG without Mbappe how do they win the CL Shocked)

edit:

Superbru is now being silly and is giving me my premium membership on one day and withholding it on the next.

Last message from them is on August 26th when a rep said they'll investigate this and get it resolved ASAP.

So Ronaldo in United and nobody is talking about it here? I expected to find at least one full page of posts when I logged in.

What are you guys thinking? Obviously he is a class player and should help United raise their game even higher. What position will he play? I sort of think maybe he would be best as striker this time around. A little bit less of running and more chances for scoring goals, and weakest United position at the moment. I just hope he will not take all direct free kicks from Fernandez since his record in last couple years is far from the best Smiley

Never saw this move coming. It was all City in the news and then bam - United done deal.

A lot of talking in your thread Premier League prediction about Cristiano.Still he can't do much now at almost 37 years old despite his perfect physical form, age is a determining factor in football. For United though he is a great addition but I don't think he will be a determining factor in United fight for title but let's see.

I also put in my predictions but I am pretty sure I will suck up big time this week as I predicted as many in the community have done,I doubt we will see such result.I think I will not be first after this week games but my objective is to be in the top ten in the end of the season so I am hopeful for that.
for the case of Ronaldo age is going to be just a number look at Ibrahimovic last season with Milan he scored so many goals despite his age closing on 40yo and he did have a serious injury in the late of his career while Ronaldo little bit younger and have no history of serious injuries like Ibrahimovic and he is a more goalscorer machine with a team that have many creative players like Fernandes Sancho Pogba and others.
The only  position that United needs to upgrade is a defensive midfielder so I guess we will see Ronaldo have somewhere between 25-30 goals involvment atleast in the EPL.

I agree, Ronaldo takes his health and fitness very seriously, and 36 is not that old.  He scored quite a few goals last season in Seire A last season, there's no reason to believe he's done.

I imagine lots of United fans are happy to have him back.
