They are even singing "you're nothing special, we lose every week" to every team so I guess at least they're having fun going down. Poor Newcastle lol

isn't that what sport should be about, having fun, and they are obviously having fun Smiley
maybe it is better to have perfect Championship season next year, and get back for a title chase in 2023, than to stick around for an another lousy season in Premier

I liked Newcastle, when Shearer was playing, especially seasons with him and Faustino

I'll agree with jonjo Shelvey, Fred's more of a cool headed guy.
The bet should have been placed of Scott Mac tominay, always pugnacious in games like this.
It'll be a straight win for Manchester United anyways, you won't catch them lacking on this game.
Ronaldo to score again.

Ah well I did not know that but I seem to remember in my mind Fred is always panicking when trying to defend and run back, but maybe I get lucky and he gets an offensive foul as United seem to be more about pressing?

Arsenal is heading to CL this season

regarding tonight, one should have caution with United, their play is really something unexpected always
Newcastle will obviously start their revival from Championship next season, but they are singing "we play bad, but we are richer than you", even to City

I won one freebet with Chelsea and Arsenal, and huge favorites in NFL so I at least made a little bit of money yesterday but without the freebet I would also be in red like Trofo.

rdbase, Trofo, yes is it strange that yesterday all the favorites won and yet we all got quite small points? Well, almost all! I guess I should have had the faith to put money on everyone of them in a multibet.

One last freebet in tonight with Manchester United game. I have Fred and Jonjo to get carded lol

Alot of matches today ended as predicted and with alot of goals as a few have already said. Which made for a good day for bettors instead of the bookies.

Hope you all managed to place some good bets on goals and overs for your favorite teams to score.
Amazingly Sotons were 6.00x for a victory with over 2.5 goals which I managed to put on one of my parlays with Chelsea and Arsenal.
Lukaku saved those with a Chelsea win and the over with a last minute penalty awarded when he was in the box.
So overall a brilliant boxing day in the EPL!
Unfortunately no, I ended the day deep in the red. Needed Aston Villa to get at least a draw for nice payout but Chelsea proved to be too strong. I even wanted to cash out the ticket one minute before Chelsea got first penalty and of course I did not make it in time. My cash out option went away and then 30 seconds later penalty for Chelsea. At least I learned that I am watching Premier League with small lag Smiley

I know that feeling man and I feel for you.I remember when I used to play sport betting in the beginning of this year and I had the cashout option from Sportsbet many times yet my gut feeling destroyed me.I have missed so many tickets because of that last game which I was confident I was going to win.Now I play occasionally sport betting and if I need only one game to win the parlay I usually cash out and don't feel bad even if my team wins that game.

Seems that Everton vs Burnley was called off as well.
But Atleast the Southampton Saints did a solid and won their match against a poor West Ham side even with Antonio coming on to score a few minutes on the pitch in the second half.

Slava Ukraini!
Boxing day at it's finest - so many goals scored. 26 goals just in 5 games.
Leicester almost made comeback from 4:0 and I missed most part of it. I switched to other game when City were leading 2:0 and returned only when score was 4:2.
Remember what a joke Arsenal was in season start and how good they're now. It's two different teams.
Now Brighton and Brentford game is in action and I have least expectation about it, but still watching it.

they've been in very poor form lately with only 1W in the last 5 games (1 win in 7 games, including all competitions). But The Saints are going through a rough patch as well, last time they won a game was in early November. This smells like a draw, but, I went with a West Ham win in the pool, i don't trust teams near the relegation zone  Roll Eyes

another down for West Ham
but Arsenal is really staggering at the moment, 0:5 against any team is great, did not watch, so comment based on score only

today seemed only goals so far, will Chelsea play that game as well, one from Penalty spot, and I need one more for a win

has anyone put anything on Leicester for a complete turnover after seeing 4:3 from 4:0?

Villa against Chelsea looks like value pick since Chelsea lost much of their good form and are struggling to score at the moment while their defense looks much shakier than at the beginning of the season.
I've gone for Aston Villa to get the draw against Chelsea to try, and recoup some of my money I lost on the West Ham, and the Tottenham game, I wasn't expecting Spurs to get the result they did. I swear, Tottenham only ever turn up against us, and then go ship points to lesser teams. So, I was counting on that this time around.

@swogerino Eh yeah, meanwhile, my City bet is so dead haha. And Palace killed themselves with Zaha sent off. Sigh.
Honestly, I was thinking about this a few weeks ago. Betting on Zaha getting sent off particularly in games against the likes of Sterling etc is a decent pick. Since, he is brilliant at winding opponents up, although in the process he usually gets himself wound up too. Great player, but cant be a bit of a liability sometimes.

Yeah, costing me points and bets. They beat us, and then sputtered (LLD), then beat Chelsea and then sputtered (DLL), so they better buck up and get us back some of that Moyes magic... though of course it will be bittersweet as I still have my soft spot for Saints who're already leading this one 1-0.

The big teams except West Ham are all winning their games, which is in fact very strange for Boxing day games as in the last couple of years there were surprises during such event.Of course it is just the first half and it is not finished yet but I can see that the stronger teams are playing very well and most likely they will end in wins.

To bad for me that I didn't bet on a parlay on such teams tonight,I would have made some money to make some gifts for the New Year.

For now West Ham v Saints looks like the only one with decent odds

West Ham seems as a decent pick, with solid chances to be played, agree
what about Arsenal, on @1.35 I would rather pick Norwich to win, than risk with Arsenal

all this postponements will make a mess from the league in the end, especially for position 4 fight, where you would not know who has chances to reach CL until the end

West Ham are not consistent.
Won't be surprised to see them drastically go down the top four.
They're likely to loss on tomorrow's fixture.

Also, Everton actually got a successful request for postponement due to injury rather than Covid, or at least, it was a case of both (as even with Covid they were okay to play until training injury left them with only 9 players).
In addition to seeing the affirmative statement from UEFA, I also looked through the list of involved players in the FPL transfers section (I'm not sure where the information comes from, but before it was always up to date). So literally two days ago, almost the entire Everton squad was healthy and without injuries ...  Undecided

I'm not so familiar with the official Premier League FPL but I was active in the first couple of match games, and then intermittently but right now just completely inactive, but I have to say their injury rating is a bit off. You could have 80% chance of not playing (can't remember the exact number but someone in FPL can confirm) and the guy would come off and score. I remember this happening to me with Richarlison once and I actually swapped him out and lost on big points.

So I wouldn't count on their info being 100% accurate Wink

Jeez icopress if that was right, then it is practically impossible to make predictions or bets until a few hours before. If no Covid and no injuries team can suddenly in 48 hours not even have 11 players to name for the playing squad!

I am feeling so nervous for making it back into prize spots and now I am double guessing myself for everything on the next 2 days. GL everyone Smiley

light_warrior ... 🕯️
I was going to say you should have waited until the game day of some hours before the game kicks off before using your freebet as you'd lose the freebet should the game gets postponed, but my fear has happened as I just saw that the match between Everton and Burnley have also been postponed. [...] I probably wouldn't have fancy history in this case, since Everton have been literally shit themselves lately. I would have gone for a draw, perhaps scoreless one for that matter.
I'm just lucky ... this is the second week in a row that I place a bet and get canceled. The fact is that I saw a news feed from December 23, which stated that UEFA had refused Everton this request, so I made up my mind ... and after I saw your post, completely different information appeared in the news feed. The only thing I do not understand is how UEFA makes such decisions (remotely?), because apparently during the meeting, Everton was made clear that there would be no cancellation.

Damn icopress, looks like you already wasted your freebet. We should all have been like Welsh, waiting for today at least to place our bets (I don't know why I have to put freebets down as soon as I see them appear, some kind of compulsion). West Ham is a solid team and I expect them to finish high. Not in the top 4 but anything below that is fair game. For this game I like both to score option best since Palace has started playing some good football as well.

Arsenal should get another win but I am always a bit hesitant to pick them away from home, especially for odds that low. Skipping this one or taking Martinelli to score.
