Liverpool looks best at the moment but I feel they will be hit hardest with congested schedule and than African Cup of Nations. Both Chelsea and City have longer benches (arguably) and will not loose top players to African Cup. If Liverpool survives this period without falling behind they will be first favorites for title.

Chelsea had big problems with injuries. They were playing long time without Lukaku, their only real striker, and Kovačić who looked really good in the middle. Added to that they had a lot of injuries in defense, first Azpi, now Chilwell and James.

mostly agree, although I do think that City has best chances to get title this year
Liverpool looks good, and African cup will be a test for them to stay in the top, but I think that they do not have mental strength for a winning strikes, they had it one year, and made difference, but they could hardly repeat that one, Klopp is a great "cup competition" couch, but I will be surprised to see him getting another title in PL

Arsenal were doing very well, but when they face big team, fear grips them and make them loose. There is a fear factor that the coach could not remove from them. When Arteta came in first,he was known for flogging big teams, but now he has injected fear in them, and when ever they meet big team, they always loose.

Therefore, for Arteta to compete for top four,or win any tittle this season,he has to buy players during January transfer window,to enable him Atleast meet up the other big teams in England.

Anyway, I don't normally get too excited about Liverpool's chances at Christmas time due to the amount of times we've been there, and slipped up. However, I feel like this team is showing us similar energy to when we won it. We're looking incredible in attack, and only a little bit shaky in defense. I'm normally always fairly confident about our chances, but usually quite quiet about it. This year I just feel like its our.....year.

I think Manchester City aren't on the same level currently as us, and Chelsea, and Chelsea have definitely shown fragility as of recent games.

Yeah, I'm not trying to insinuate the conspiracies surrounding the vaccines. Like I said, this has definitely happened in stadiums before, I've personally seen someone collapse on a game day inside the stadium, though that was acted upon quickly by the stewards, and was quite far away from me so not quite sure what the cause was.

[...] It's not even first week December and already the scores are all over the place. I'd love to still finish top by Boxing Day but it's a long road ahead.
You should try harder and make your predictions more carefully as some of us are on your tail. For example, this week I went up by 10 points at once, taking the 12th line (based on the results of 8 matches), but I already blocked my choice and, apparently, little can change, as I see that almost everyone made similar predictions for the last two matches (even more so if Manchester wins, I will remain the leader of the round, draw or lose, I will win some bitcoins)Tongue

what a shitty round, Liverpool beat us to 1:4, and all other results came far from expected (Chelsea and City will be large surprises, so they come as expected does not count)
West Ham did not win, Leicester played draw, Wolves did not win at home, and they are having solid results lately

looking forward to all-time game tonight between United and Arsenal

This week was not as bad as the week before this one, that was the most disastrous one and 90% of the users in the pool got really bad results.

It most probably is going to end in a draw as the most natural result.Arsenal has topped up their game quite a lot in the latest games and Manchester United is playing at home trying to squeeze as much as possible from this game.At my prediction I had United to win 2-1 but I just changed it to a draw as I think Arsenal is a strong team right now.

Yea..... I thought MW14's games were taking place next week and as a result I missed the predictions for Newcastle-Norwich and Leeds-Palace. To be fair I would've gotten the second match wrong anyway, but I feel like I needlessly dropped draw points on the first match.

Set all my other predictions though, it's been a tricky week so far but hey I managed to salvage some points.
MW14 started early and I almost missed it too. If I didn't get an email from Superbru, I might have lost points for this week's match. But luckily I got 2 exact goals and tried to move up a few numbers on the Leaderboard at least I could finish in the top 10.

3 incidents already Welsh, yeah and this one was at Watford, spotted by a player. I don't want to add to speculation either, but for many fans these last weeks have been their first in a long time. Certainly the roof at Anfield was off way before kick off... all that pent up fanrage if I can call it that, I know cause I was a fan in my local league finally able to get to a stadium after some bans heh... I regrettably did one or two things I should not be proud of =D

Anyway, tight, tight, tight games and I was really lucky Villa got a goal in to give me full points (thanks Gerrard and Watkins), 3-0 for Liverpool again worked out for me, impossible to really predict their exact score these days the way they're just swashbuckling all over the pitch. Robbo and TAA switching flanks every so often, VVD in the enemy's box, Mane and Salah pressing near our corner flag, I just love the way we're playing now, it's as if someone forgot to tell them this isn't 5 a side and they actually have positions to be in haha.

I heard it on the commentary that there was a second incident in another game, which was postponed for around fifteen minutes. Anyone know which one it was, and was it another cardiac arrest? If so, that would be the third publicly known of the season, with the other one being in a Newcastle game a couple of weeks ago.

Seems these things are getting more limelight recently, I know things like this happen somewhat frequently at games, but maybe it just wasn't as publicly obvious in past seasons.

On another note, I'm disappointed that Liverpool conceded, I honestly thought we wouldn't concede today, and score in both halves. At least, I was partially correct. Chelsea, and Manchester City also getting a result after initially struggling is annoying though, really thought this was our opportunity to pull ahead going into the Christmas period.

Persons who love conspiracy have already started and telling us that in the vaccines they have nano particles which after passing some time they become iron in our body thus giving people more cardiac arrests and other heavy illnesses.
So it may be related to that since a huge part of UK population is vaccinated.

Of course I do not believe this but I am seeing more and more of these persons in both TV,social media and the Internet talking about such things,I wonder what is their motivation behind such claims.

What happened on Chelsea match? My local results app has written something like "interrupted due too spectators injury".
Since the game restarted I doubt it was a tragedy,it maybe was some fans not being careful and suffering easy injuries.

It was an emergency, one Watford fans suffered a cardiac arrest but the condition has stabilised after being admitted to the hospital. The game was stopped so that the medical team can cross the field to offer assistance and it was Moussa Sissoko that pointed this out. Things could probably have gone worse for this fans if Sissoko didnt spot this out

I hope it is something more of individual nature and not a tragedy like when whole stand collapses. I guess if it was something like that it would be on the news already and we would know about it.

The game restarted again, right now they are in the 28 minutes of first half while all other games that started at the same time are nearly finishing half time break and ready to start the second half.Since the game restarted I doubt it was a tragedy,it maybe was some fans not being careful and suffering easy injuries. All is good what ends good.Oh and by the way Chelsea just scored right now.

I had on Newcastle 2-1 correct result but that red card i think killed them. They even leaded until the very end of the game but it Pukki destroyed my points to statt the week good. Good thing Leeds scored in the last minutes to give me at least 1.5 points. Hoping to see better results from other matches

I had 1-0, but the red card just did them in. Watched first half before switching over to Leeds and Toons were playing quite well even with 10 men, Norwich on the other hand, are so, so poor. Slow in the build up, total lack of creativity. Shelvey was punting dangerously all over the pitch, Saint-Maximin was doing what he was doing... I think they'd have won this easy if Ciaran didn't idiotically get himself sent off in 9th. He's too mature to not know he was a big idiot.

I actually needed a Leeds draw to salvage points too, so the penalty doubly ruined my night...

Honestly @buwaytress a few weeks ago I thought you were just gonna pull further and further away from the rest of us but look at the difference of having one week, and 2 games later, we are coming for you heheheh

Indeed, two misses when lots of others hit is ruinous haha. It felt good while it lasted up here, and this week should see someone else overtake unless my luck's riding today. Good luck, and nice seeing you guys nearby. Took you long enough Wink

I stand with Ukraine.
I thought being on the 44th position I could go only up from there. But nope, with my 3 "close" and 1 "result"

That is very strange not to move when so low down Grin

Yep, 2 more games, and I'm still there, on my 44th place. I'm so accustomed to be there that I call it "my", OMG.  Grin

But do not worry I was in that position before and slowly I try to climb but right now still in mid 30s it does not look good,,, but someone said it before, just make it consistent gains every week and slowly you can climb.

My target is 10th place Wink

Thank you! Yeah, I'm planning to start climbing up little by little. With 14 rounds played, we are not in the middle of the journey even. My target is 10th place too, btw. Wink

I got 0 points from yesterday game but I had also bet a big amount of money on Newcastle and I am very sad seeing them get a red card since the 9th minute which greatly impact their game. For me surely they deserved the win yesterday but that is gambling. Also I had a Crystal Palace win based on their latest games form but strange enough they were beaten by Leeds which came back after many games not showing a great football.Still a lot of games today though to change things around.

Look at the table and how close it is even after one-third of the entire season gone.

Of course still early but the results last night more or less according to their positions in the table. 2 penalties so this was more about luck as usual.

Uggh. Don't normally change my scores but changed the Newcastle game from 0-0 to 1-0 and Leeds 1-0 to 1-1. Lost out on 4 points there haha. Should have stuck to my guns. Leeds were lucky to get the late penalty though. Palace deserved a point.

I only got up from an early nap by then Norwich had equalized and it's still goalless with Leeds and Palace and to very be honest, I said the only one who possibly could gone for draw in both games would be you, I check and I saw you only had points (then) in the Leeds games.

I had both Newcastle and Palace to win 2-0 and 1-2 respectively, It's always a tough decision for me to stick with draws, and it's probably costing a lot so far this season.
