I had also Chelsea 2-0 and tomorrow I am also playing for the top spot although I don't have many chances. My only possibility is to get a correct score to the Leicester game and this will also give me another slam point because it is the 8th result I will find if I manage to find it.Also I need for the other persons to not get the correct scores.Mathematically I think I am a candidate for the top spot tomorrow although I don't expect anything,I am pretty happy with my results so far being number three on the leaderboard.
I had the correct results on Chelsea scoring two goals but I had some confidence over Arsenal since it’s a derby and at Home and they should score one since they failed to get one last round also but Arsenal is going to be Arsenal their next match is going to be against Man City at Etihad so I will be glad to see them sink rock bottom.

I think we will see these picture more often.
There situation is worse them I imagined.
Arsenal suffered from absences and injuries. Perhaps the team needs time, but the team's statistics are very negative and frightening, as he did not score in two games and received 4, the next few weeks may be the end of Arteta.

I've got Chelsea for a flawless victory, but let's see how that goes.

And Bang it was! I'm now joint on the first position for the week, just one more please ??!

Arsenal were literally threatening in the opening minutes, but lacked the real cutting edge. Chelsea are in the process of building a really great team, and Lukaku seemed like a perfect missing piece they needed upfront, his work ethics is just superb!

Crazy from Man United, you'll know it was a tricky result when no one from the pool went that way, not sure even the infamous upset master (Buywatress)... It's still a great week for me so far, joint 2nd position with two games to go, I've got Chelsea for a flawless victory, but let's see how that goes.

I think it had something to do with how Southampton lost a ton of players to transfers before this season began so while ManU and So'ton have a track record of drawing, nobody could really predict that Southampton could manage another draw, let alone United underperforming so much from last week.

I'd agree that most people went with Man Utd blindly not because of how bad they expected Southampton to be, but rather how good Man Utd were last week, at least 2 users went for Leeds to win or draw last week.

Does anyone want to tip that Arteta will be sacked if Arsenal lose goalless their third match in a row?

I don't think he'll get sacked that soon into the season, even though there is a possibility of losing goalless in the third game as well, they'll be facing Man City at the Etihad stadium next week.

Not the greatest round for me, my fault for relying on Manchester United Wink. Liverpool on the other hand have been brilliant for me, scoring me maximum points for their game both weeks. I might need to start watching some of the other teams in the Premier League to actually get a little closer on the scores. I thought Manchester United's hype after the Leeds game was unwarranted.

Manchester United I think let us all down today,I thought they would manage to win but Southampton is a strong team when playing in their home field so not that a big upset for me.At least I got the correct score in Tottenham game today which is keeping me in the top ten for two consecutive weeks so far.I think in both remaining games of this week I will manage to get some points more hopefully and let's see how things unfold in the future. So far is really tight at the top.

Nicely done so far toma and cryptofrka, who climbed 25 and 14 spots respectively after 8 games on Match Day 2! Worthy mentions for Joca and Casper who climbed 22 and 18 spots. We do have two more games so everything can change quickly.

I saw no-one predicted anything other than a United win, very surprising for me actually, but I supposed we all remembered the 9-goal haul United had against Saints. As Welsh says, some overhyping in the end. Ruined a big acca I had going too... my only bet left now is an Arsenal upset, but I know I'll get itchy for the Monday game.

My best round so far in 3 years I'm playing the prediction pool. Still, only good enough for the tie for the 1st place with tomahawk9.

We both got 12,5 points from 6 games, which currently places me in 2nd spot overall. Still 4 games to go in this round but hopefully I can get my 1st yellow hat Smiley

What a start for me in the second round of this premier league pool. 9.5 points in just 5 matches for me is incredible and all results were close. All 5 are in green too bad the VAR disallowed the Newcastle goal could have gotten 1.5 points more and tie the first place for this round
Almost the same with me. Got all correct outcomes but not a single correct score. I am always missing that small piece of luck needed to score all three points. Had 2:1 in Newcastle game so that goal would have given me full 3 points as well. Also had Liverpool as 3:0 and Salah goal got disallowed in that game. Gunning for all three slam points in this round Smiley

Yes same i had 3:0 on Liverpool and was expecting an easy 3 points and in the end just 2:0 also had Brighton to draw the match that for me is a big mistake not going with Brighton to win against Watford lost some easy points

I had the exact results in reverse - Crystal Palace vs Brentford 1-0 but Palace played so awfully at home they didn't even deserve to score. At the same time, I had Brighton - Watford at 0 - 0 but then Brighton comes along and scores and messing with its draw history Sad

At one point I swapped Leeds x Everton 1-2 for 2-1 but it didn't matter because both of those outcomes were nulled.

When if it's tricky for you go for draws. I agree with you on those two and hence why I've gone for draws on both. Leeds might have the home advantage given it's their first game in front of crowds at home in the PL, but they didn't play great last week and Everton picked up a win so the draw looks good to me. Palace and Brentford could cancel each other out so it's another draw for me.

Nice analysis man, you'd have gotten at least 3 points from that, I'd suppose?

I went with a draw in Palace vs Brentford game, but opted for an Everton 2 -1 win Over Leeds United, which of course I could have grabbed exact point from if not for the equaliser from Leeds.

It's been a fair day so far, I've also got Brighton to win, so things can still get even better.

You win some you lose some. Got 3 points on the Palace 0-0. Bore draws are always risky and zero-zeroes even more so but you can pick up points on them as hardly anyone has the balls to go for them. Got 1.5 points for the close on the Leeds match as well. Also won a decent bet on that:

Worth putting on if you think there's gonna be goals. I've won them at odds of 250/1 before.

And this is precisely what I say. Just pick the favourites when you can, and where there are not any obvious ones, as hilarious so accurately predicted, then you go for the draw.

3 slam points are way easier to get than trying to be too smart. That is an entire exact score outcome.

Watford losing away as expected. But I thought I had a chance betting on them...

Liverpool gets it second win in the league while keeping another clean sheet I guess that's going to be the case for them when their No. 1 player Alisson returns between the sticks, no it will be much difficult to be able to score against him.
The return of life to Anfield is more important than the return of Van Dijk to the defense line, which seemed somewhat shaky in front of attacks and aerial tackles against one of the best Premier League clubs to master it.
Salah as usual does not score In the second round, he continues his series of not scoring against Burnley.
All of the pool players predicted the right outcome and 16 of them got the correct results that is high number but it's just little bit over the overall average.

Shared the pool in Sportsbet (ClubTalk) but can't share links without it getting censored so am not sure it's pulling anyone new into bitcointalk, but I'll try and remember to see if we could do that earlier next season. Still, 46 players in isn't bad considering how close to $100 the fee is right now (and will likely be for latecomers haha).

Liverpool correct score superboost is active now (20%), so you can still get a fairly decent price for 2:1 or thereabouts. Burnley's a tough proposition and will defend deep away, but as Trofo says, Anfield advantage is big and guys like Salah, Bobby especially feed off the energy to some extremes so I snagged a 4:0 bet for over 16/1.

Not even available to watch the early game plus afternoon ones, am on the road. But Teemu Pukki showing up and helping Norwich beat Citeh? I got money on them at 26/1;)

Bump. If anyone still wants to play there's still time but not long until the next round kicks off. Superbru gives you 15 'default picks' if you miss the games based on the most likely result and if you sign up now you will be given six points automatically (which is only 2.5 less than what I got this round and the people at the bottom of the table only got 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 so you will be above them at least). If anyone wants to play but can't pay just yet I will give you until the end of the month to do so, so just PM me. There's 46 players signed up so far so let's try get another 4.

The only game that I successfully predicted the result of was Norwich - Liverpool this week. Even though there were really surprising results on the first week of the EPL to me, our friends in the group were really successful. I'd like to congratulate them. I joined this awesome group for the first time ever in this year. And I'm quite angry at myself because I didn't join it in the past years.
I had a bad start in the previous season but ended up in the top-10 by the end of it, so it's totally fine to have a bad start. I had a terrible start during the first round this year as well, and I'm currently at #42. But I'm sure it's just bad luck, especially with having 3 close predictions but zero exact ones. I also shouldn't have started the season with trying to predict draws and putting 3 of them in my picks. There's plenty of time for mistakes given how long the EPL season is, though, and good luck to us all with the upcoming rounds!

I started last season somewhat fairly but I lost pace along the mid-season only for me pick up well in the last few weeks... If there's anything I've got to learn here is that, just try to remain within average point each week, then 4-5 good weeks would be all that is needed to finish within winners lists.

A few mid-table tricky games we've got tomorrow,
Palace - Brentford, and Leeds vs Everton are the trickiest imo, I still haven't made a precise decision on who to pick.

When if it's tricky for you go for draws. I agree with you on those two and hence why I've gone for draws on both. Leeds might have the home advantage given it's their first game in front of crowds at home in the PL, but they didn't play great last week and Everton picked up a win so the draw looks good to me.
