I dunno. Getting two correct scores is decent enough and at 9.5 points it puts you about mid table of this round so better than nothing.
I am happy for these two correct but looking at the number of wrong picks which are 9 out of 14 is very poor performance. There were three matches yesterday and none of them went as I expected. Hopefully I will be able to manage some points today.

Something is very interesting on the leader-board, tomahawk9 is still leading and I am not sure how many weeks since he is at the top place. There are not much point distance in between top 10 users too. As we stand now, kryptqnick with 226.50 and tomahawk9 with 251.50

Did anyone win any points today?

This is just sad ,leicester drawed, sheffield won,who got points today is extremely lucky

Even manchester united flopping now...disguasting Undecided

I didn't get any either. Went with all 0-1 away wins. Conradicals got the first two games scores right though which bumped him up quite a way. I said they would be close games and likely would be draws but the teams were too hard to split for me. Today's three games could be tricky as well. Spurs and Everton should win but away maybe they'll slip up like teasm did yesterday,.

How is everyone here?
I really did not care much last few weeks and seeing myself still in top 10 is bit surprising. We lost hope for the title race. Boys are not in their game. So this season is kinda boring lately for me.

I guess one of the worse round I am in on the pool?

This image should prove it.

Anyway, we are going to play against Chelsea and are we going to end with another Anfield disaster?

Hit the brick with first two predictions for today, and It doesn't look like Man United will be any different..

I guess I've totally underestimated the home sides or expected way too much from the visitors and I'm paying costly for that  Huh

I'm really not sure about Leicester. They have the last two lost games (PL and EL) and there they did not seem to have any chance to win. Every season in this time they had a period of poor results and it lasts about a month. (they lost the top 4 last season)
Also, they had so much injury to important players
That's true, but I hope they still have a chance. Of course, among the three matches from my bet, I'm most unsure about Leicester. However, they did win against Liverpool and Aston Villa, while Burnley has a very low win record this season. I guess they might have a draw, but I hope Leicester pulls everything it currently has together and wins this one. I think that even if they're definitely not at their best right now, they can still win against Burnley. Leicester is #3 when it comes to standings, whereas Burnley is #15.

I have to say I am quite happy to see myself joint top with our captain on the leaderboard for this week:) I had the first few close games that I picked a score with one extra goal,,, but nice to see 0-0 picks hit exact and close:)

I'm surprised. Didn't really expect to do well this round. I wonder if the points record will be beaten this week. 9.5 points more are needed for us to equal tokeweed's current best of 25 and there's six games left in this megaround.

And both of you are former yellowcappers too, so maybe we get to see our first former cappers on this megaround;) And as arallmuus points out, you actually get 1 slam point if you just get 2 more results correct... so easy right?Wink

I'm trying not to feel inadequate with my four points.

Today's games could be quite tricky. I think I'll stick to my original plan of narrow away wins but there's gotta be a draw in there I think and the Leicester match is probably the closest to likely happen. I'll wait for the line-ups though as I think Vardy is still playing. If he isn't then I probably would go with a draw.
Same here, I am expecting away victories and if I have to choose somebody who will not manage to get full 3 points it has to be Leicester. According to my info Vardy is closer to playing than sitting another one out but he is much more dangerous when playing against big teams which open up and leave space in the defense. Burnley will not give him that space for sure. Leicester is also missing a couple of very important in form players like Maddison, Barnes, Praet, Fofana, Justin and Perez.

Impossible to separate the two or any of these games (except City, they're on a roll that's only building momentum). I think Leicester will nick it even without half their preferred team, but I'm also tempted by a Palace draw or win (at 8/1). United are irresistible when they want to counter, but Palace showed Brighton how to best do it two games ago (2 goals from 2 attempts and 25% possession).

I had the first few close games

Too bad huh, We could have 3 points from Manchester City if the score was 2-1. The two last minutes goal cost us 2 extra points  Tongue.

Both of you needs to get atleast average of 1.5 points for the remaining matches to beat the record but you will only need atleast 8.5 points out of 6 matches to be equal with Toke's record because once both of you reach 10 correct result prediction, there will be an extra of 1 slam point.

Two more correct results to go for both of you but with 4/6 remaining matches in this round are mostly favourites vs underdogs , its going to be easy

With all these players out of the Leicester lineup, I still expect them to be solid enough defensively. Maybe under goals is a decent bet, even a cheeky u1,5 one.

I went for 0-1 for Leicester as well. Hoping to pull this through for another exact point. I need to catch up to top 20 or else it would be harder in the latter round

Agreed, Burnley to win is a really tempting bet. It needs to be said that they scored only 10 times in 14 home games though.

Also be careful with this since Leicester is the best away team in the league so far (tied with City).

Leicester has a lot of injured players so they are not at full power against Burnley tonight.Burnley has won three of the last four games against Leicester,I was going to back up a Leicester win but I think it will end in a draw. The other two games of tonight should have no surprises.

With most of the games of this round behind, I decided to take a little risk and place a multi bet on some of the remaining matches. I don't usually do multi bets because I hate it when two out of three check out and then the last game goes unexpectedly, but I think it's worth to experiment with them occasionally, and the odds on this one are quite attractive:

What do you think about this selection? Are you placing any multi bets on the current round?

Had a not bad run if I say so myself this round, and last night thanks to City (or thanks to Wolves for scoring 1 goal) I was already at 1.5 points even at 3:1 (I picked 3:0) so when they had the late goals I was hoping they wouldn't go and score another one!

Going to be another highscoring round here with teams playing catch up on games in hand:)

^^^ Def default picks. I looked it up a couple of weeks ago when I somehow forgot to put picks in. Not exactly sure how it works but you get a few allocations per tourney (10 for this one I think).

@kryptqnick: I parlayed tonight's Turkish game (Gaziantep) with a 2/1 Liverpool win. It's going to be a really tough one but I'm hoping we get Jota back as a surprise and Keita might start too giving us a pretty good midfield and attack for a good value home win (we need to restore fortress Anfield!).

^  That could happen but I’m still taking City til I see them slow down and break that winning streak.  I got them at 3 - 1 for the pool.  But I get what you’re saying..  Nuno could turn it into a tight game.

Anyway, next round feels like some away clubs are getting the win.  Parlayed Aston Villa, Leicester, Man United and Everton at 12.12 for a huge bet of 10 bucks.  Lol.  Cheesy

I got that score right and seem to be on a bit of a roll this round sitting currently in second place only half a point behind Leea-1334. City should easily beat Wolves tonight. The rest of the games are a little bit trickier though and think I might go for mostly away wins. I'm sure there'll be some draws in there though.

good round for Everton, and we are back in Champions league fight
who would call for Leicester and West ham in CL positions at the end of the season, with Chelsea and Liverpool out, Tottenham down and Manchester duo on the top, seems quite interesting at the moment and while City would take the title in the end, there could be a lot of changes in top six until the end

with all said, expect City to crash tonight, just on a statistics term, Wolves are good enough to take a point, or even a win, and City strike should finish sooner or later, they have exact 20 wins in all competitions in a row

So we have another game tonight, Everton taking on Southampton. Couple of weeks ago I would have think this one should be tough for Everton due to their poor home record but now when they have all their best players ready and back from injury (Digne, Allan, Rodriguez, Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison) while Southampton has lost their good form this should be much easier. Saints are also missing a couple of important players like Kyle Walker-Peters, Theo Walcott and Takumi Minamino so I am expecting a comfortable win for Everton, maybe even with handicap.

I also have a big bet on Everton to win @2.2 with Supetboost on Sportsbet so keeping fingers crossed.

Congrats on your win.I had it in a parlay so lost my bet but got a close result in the pool as I had it 2-0 to win.Except tonight game which I think all pool participants have a City win all other games are a bit more difficult to predict but the stronger teams should win these battles.
