Another unique round winner with Stephencurry333 grabbing this rounds yellow cap. Next round is tomorrow don't forget. Looks like 24 people have yet to do their scores.

Arsenal game just kicked off. Gone for a narrow 1-0 on that one.

That narrow 1-0 didnt pay off. I went for the the same pick as well but didnt expect that Arsenal couldnt score. So bad, I should have stick with my first prediction for the draw

Arsenal should be doing better than this. Really expected them to get the win. Only three people went with the draw and only one got the correct score.

^I think the advantage is just the same as those who only won yellow cap for the rounds with less than 10 games though, I mean, you can have more games but so does everyone else, right? Or am I missing some detail about how the selected person wins?

It's just who gets the most points. When games get cancelled obviously there's an advantage if you're at the top but otherwise it could be a plus or minus depending on what scores you went for on the other games.

Ended the game round with just 5 points, but I'm only ranked 12th for the week  Cheesy

The next round is going to be interesting, there will be 15 matches unless some matches are cancelled so few might end up getting more than 20 points in this round

Except there is a lot of upsets, whoever wins it will be having quite an unfair advantage if there are still prizes for the most points for a single round..

I find it difficult for them to keep staying on top after their performance against Burnley.

I'll be honest and say that Im totally agree with this but as LFC_bitcoin wrote

If we can’t get up & motivated to play Man Utd then we don’t deserve to win the title tbh.

Same goes for Manchester United. If Manchester United cant win then winning the Premier League would be nothing but pipe dream

So it seems we are still stuck with the curse of one unique winner every round again. Stephencurry333 is the winner for round 18 with only 9 points. Got myself back up to top ten and Tomahawk9 still stands strong on top of the table

I was about to rant in here about Man City have failed to live up to my 3 - 0 win expectations but I saw this in the pool https://i.imgur.com/ObgHo3z.jpg, so I can't even complain, lol. Man City are playing well, but the goals have really reduced drastically this season, Man City have only scored more goals(a goal) than just one team from the top 10 teams in the league.

3-0 was by far the most popular score and was also what I went for. I thought they might actually get more than that but didn't want to go into silly numbers. Very surpised they only managed 1-0.

^  Yup.  For what they have up front, they look pretty clueless.

I really suck at the moment with my predictions. It was made double as bad with Man Utd overtaking LFC at the top of the PL. Oh well we’ll just have to beat them at Anfield on Sunday. I’m tempted to go for Man Utd to win in my predictions as a reverse indicator based on me being crap in the prediction pool this season. Usually what i predict the opposite happens so hocus pocus, LFC 0-2 Man Utd Wink

With all the hype and the high expectations, I think these two clubs could negate each other and end up in a scoreless draw.  And it’s also very possible that VAR could ruin this game for either club.

I can see a draw but maybe they'll both score. Hope it isn't boring but would rather Liverpool thrash them but can't say I have the confidence in them to do so right now.

Arsenal game just kicked off. Gone for a narrow 1-0 on that one.

Why not? It happened and Manchester United is staying on top atleast until the next match against Liverpool. To be honest, I cant really recall when was the last time Manchester United stand on the top of the table after Sir Alex retired. Only 1 goal against Burnley, I'll take that and what matters the most is the 3 points from winning the game
Yeah, now they are looking really solid, but before season not many saw them as potential title contenders. I also can't remember when last time when they were on the top of table, if we don't count some starting rounds of season. Maybe it was in Fergie times, wouldn't be surprised.

I think it was in Sir Fergusson times when they used to dominate the Premier League even for consecutive years however things have changed a lot since then and anything can happen in this season,I find it difficult for them to keep staying on top after their performance against Burnley.

On another note this may be the round with the lowest points up to now if the leader fails to get any points during tonight match.
Currently Stephencurry is leading by 9 points so if he won today then surely he can overtake LFC_Liverpool because this can give him more points and 1 slam point which bring him above still few possiblities but first we have to watch last match of this round.

Silly me for thinking Brighton could snatch this. I ought to stop throwing away money on these games, seems like City aren't as brittle at the back anymore but their goal problems up front are same as Liverpool and others -- just tiredness.

As I'm writing this, Sterling penalty oops haha. This was worse than de Bruyne's miss against Liverpool heh.

Anyway, Pep apparently said he's found the secret to success with his team, telling them not to run but walk (with the ball) haha. In direct contradiction to Liverpool's high-press blitzkrieg from the front, defend from attack, although Klopp definitely slowed his team down from last season...

With all the hype and the high expectations, I think these two clubs could negate each other and end up in a scoreless draw.  And it’s also very possible that VAR could ruin this game for either club.

Boo, I woulda thought that pre-Bruno Fernandes but surely they'll want to have some fun;) 4-0 Liverpool, because secret weapons abound;)

^ Haven't looked forward to a United game in a really long time;)

Anyway, proud to say I'm a contender for the wooden spoon. Damn it. Blades' first win, and of course courtesy of Steve Bruce and his "all-out attack" team.

All the way in 39th place. That's what I get for thinking OGS will bottle it at Burnley. Did see the first half and it was heading for a draw, have to say.

I have some good day as one exact and 2 close its just because of last minute change I was on 0 - 1 for Manchester Unites vs Burnley but on last minute I change this with 0 - 2 which cost me badly but today going with 3 - 0 Manchester City and 3 - 1 with Tottenham hopefully these will also going with good result.

Zero points from those three games but I was a single goal away from the correct score on each one. Very annoying.

Did anyone see the VAR in the United match? They were simultaneously checking incidents at either end of the pitch and took about 5 minutes to do so. Not sure what Maguires goal was disallowed for either.

More users than I expected actually got points from Newcastle's loss against Sheffield United, finally got their first win after 18 games..

Yeah didn't think many would go for the home win. I had a 0-0 draw so wasn't far off

Exactly. The leader of this week standings got 2 exact scores in Sheffield and Everton game and near missed another one in the Manchester game.I have only 2.5 points so far so this round I consider it bad as I don’t think I will recover anything in the upcoming games.

And now, completely worst EPL team achieved their first win this season.

Yeah it happens. I know for sure sooner or later Sheffield probably going to win but I just cant let myself to pick Sheffield. Ended up picking Newcastle and lost. I even had Newcastle to win on one of my betslip with $89 winning potential if only Newcastle win

What's next? MU on the top of table Smiley?
