Whomever had Wolves to score over 2 goals had their dreams come true within the first 10 minutes of the game.
They lead 2-0 already! Wink

It will be very tough for Sheffield to score in this game. But I have them 2 goals so I hope so. Sad
Even we are in first round matches but now I am feeling 2 teams can give some serious upsets in coming matches because their desire about this already shown one Everton and second Wolves both are very good and quality teams have ability to be in top ranked for this season.

Just check and shocked what a start for Wolves first 10 minutes and leading by 2 goals look like they are very serious about this season and want to do some big which is not expected by us.

I managed to land in the back third. So the start was in need of improvement Grin

I'm in the process of setting up Superbru on my cell phone so that I'll be closer to it in the future.
But another question -> what is the best site or ticker to be up2date on matchday (and afterwards)? Cool

I did not expect such good football so early in the season. Liverpool and Leeds played a fantastic game, Leeds will really be a fun team to watch. They pressed really high and managed to remain compact - they will cause teams problems and I'm glad Liverpool squeezed a win.

Arsenal looked good too, but Fulham is horrible so it's not really fair to judge yet. The only disappointment was Tottenham.

I'm most interested in Chelsea so looking forward to today.

I didn't start well in the predictor, but to be fair some unexpected results occurred. Grin

Spurs were shit. Was expecting them to grab a win but only by one goal. Tomorrows games should be good and I'm looking forward to see how Chelski play. Hopefully they'll have all their new players available. Sheff vs Wolves is harder to call but might go for a stalemate on that one.

@jayce: Heh yeah, they certainly gave us a scare. Mind you, both Bielsa and Klopp will be giving a huge bollocking to their defenders for playing like schoolboys last night.

@toke:Actually, we have more or less the same players last season or from previous season all enter -- I see a number of names I don't recognise, neither on Superbru nor on this forum, so I imagine some are just gunning for the huge prize and/or are Sportsbet players who don't come on the forum much. Joca I know is a tipster on the forum but usually on Nitrogen, saw he joined (hey Joca;) ).

At least 5 people dropped out.

Just wondering.  Did anybody buy multiple entries this season or can we only assume that some players have multiple accounts?  Grin

Not that I know of.

What was wrong with Tottenham? Unbelievable!
They ruined two good bet slip which I would win easily. A five fold where only PSG match to be settled and a double bet where another mach is a sure win.

I think I am going to avoid Tottenham in my future picks.
Yes Tottenham is not good for any pick in future they are good just on papers not in real Everton is much better and solid team for current season.

right
unbelievable concerning the results in tottenham - none of us bet on the fc everton Shocked Roll Eyes

Angry i saw this coming from a mile away yet i still backed them in a small parlay and predicted a draw in our pool and the weekly Multi Master ...not only that but i also followed Steve's Multi Magic and, just like i predicted, they messed it all up

Not to mention in the pool I have shit score so far!

I was expecting at least a draw from them, even though I have them as well in a 3 team parlay, but they are back to their inconsistent form where they stopped last season, I guess.

I'll probably start skipping them in my betslip too, but it's unavoidable in the pool ☹️

Too unbothered to check, more money for me when I sweep it all muahahaha.

Anyway.

The other promoted team WBHA. Not a single shot on target, Vardy joins Salah already on the race for goals, routine win for Leicester, too bad I didn't stick to my guns and go 3-0, I went for 3-1 thinking Albion at least had a goal in them.

26/48 so far, Fulham pick really hurt me haha.

Spurs-Everton, brave Joca went on 0-0. Stevebitcointalk (is that SB itself?) went for a Toffees win! On evidence of first 15 mins, maybe not such a bad pick. Son and Kane a bit subdued, but they're generally like that at first I guess. But Richarlison 1-on-1, rounded the keeper, and then blasted into the skies. Heh.

Only two points from four matches yesterday and today I have 1 - 2 win for Leicester. Not sure what will be the final score. But for sure this round is not going good with me. Overall since there are so many of us, we can expect a hard competition in this season. Already some of the new faces are dominating the leader board.

I don't know if a few rounds would be enough. The situation might change radically after them due to the quantity of the rounds, I think. It would make sense if it doesn't, of course, because if people are good at predictions, they'll keep being good, whereas those who are bad will be bad, but maybe it's not how this works.
I am not sure if you were with us in the last season. It was a roller coaster for all of us. 38 long rounds 380 matches if I am not wrong. Anything is possible.

Phew guys, phew. rdbase must be feeling pretty good sitting there pretty eh? Lost 1 and won 2 of my big bets, I definitely won't be doing that so soon now but I think Klopp knew he would be in for torrid time with Leeds the unknown factor and them being as equally crazy on the pressing. Liverpool high line as usual but Gomez and VVD simply not being able to keep their lines steady so we kept getting 3/4 vs 2 in the box!

I paid dearly for picking Fulham to beat Arsenal, but am surprised there were THREE other guys picking Fulham or the draw haha. Looks like I have many more companions this season for those foolish picks;)

Full credit to cygan and big G for getting Palace spot on... sorry to jayce and webtricks for picking the Leeds draw.

So far, last season's lesson of just keeping mainly with favourites and simply getting the scoring right is working out!

Man, I knew already when Rodrigo came on the pitch, he gonna ruins the game. And HE DID! Also the fact that Liverpool lost their community shield's game proves us that they are not ready to defend their title yet. So I was very sure Leeds gonna taught them a lesson. Though, in the game Leeds really did it. Bielsa is a genius indeed!

Don't know if all the channels get the same feed and graphic during the broadcast. I will assume they do. Did you guys seen that awful presentation of starting line ups? It looks like somebody deliberately went out of his way to come with most hideous and confusing way of displaying them. Don't know why the persons in charge feel like they have to change something and then they change something that works perfectly and turn it in total bullshit. Very disappointed, I was always looking forward to starting line ups and now I check them on PC.
I know what about you're talking. I also didn't liked new graphics. Old quad presentation was simple, but good. But I guess they didn't wanted to use same graphics for 4 or 5 seasons and tried to make something news. All international channels get same image which is called World Feed, while English channels using their own graphics.
Personally, I like how they present squads in La Liga. They are showing virtual players on the pitch in their positions literally.

If anyone wants to still join it's not too late as you've only missed 4 games and I only got 2 points total from them. I think even if you join now you might still get some points from the games already played as you get 15 'automatic' deferred scores during the season if you miss a game which they pick the favourite score on average for you. If you've made your picks in another league and you join ours I think they get carried over as well. Not 100% but maybe someone can check. We have 48 users so far so it would be nice to try get it to 50.

as far as I remember winners in previous season gathered 400+ points, so these 5.5 at the top of the table means nothing. it's a long season and a lot of points is there. 48 users are very respectable even if you hope in 21/22 season to reach 50.

After just a few matches, we have some two constant, Lids will be very popular to watch and Fulham going to the bottom of the table and they are sure to relegation. it is unbelievable that they have entered in PL.

Most of us ended up getting 1 point for the Liverpool game (who saw THAT coming) and then 1.5 for a close score. I'm a bit upset with myself I didn't get at least 1 exact one, but we go again today.

Regarding the automatic scores (when you forget), I think it works for all the pools. I remember playing in 2 pools last season on the same account and they got picked auto in all the pools. But yeah, maybe someone can confirm this.

Fulham were really bad I agree, that's the lottery of the Championship playoff you sometimes get shit.
