Well off to a good start as I got that score spot on. I was gutted when I got the notification that West Ham had equalised in injury time and was praying for a var cancellation as often happens these days and it happened haha. It was quite harsh watching the hightlights. The defender headed the ball onto the attackers hand and it was given as handball. Speak to theymos about it, but it's rare that he changes them and I was surprised by this one and even I didn't realise it at first and thought he was some randomer. I think being able to change your name should come as a perk of a new donator rank. I think that would be quite popular. I'm sure a lot of people dislike their names here and were chosen on the spot. I don't mind mine but I wanted one that I hadn't used anywhere else for privacy reasons.

What on earth you can change usernames? Because buwaytress was a nonsense name that didn't mean anything at all, I made the account never once thinking I'd end up getting so hooked to Bitcoin and bct! =D So hard explaining to people what my name actually means (nothing) and that I don't speak tagalog (since apparently buway means "instability" to them).

Back to business: My 2-0 Sheffield pick lucky. West Ham should really have drawn this one. Still at 17th. I went for more than a couple of upsets this round... hoping FA cup fever slows down some of the favourites (except Liverpool who played their 12-yr olds haha).

3 games this weekend have an underdog with over 10/1 odds of beating Chelsea, United or City (odds I got from a couple of days ago on Fairlay, bookies have all adjusted down now). Gotta say Norwich at 12/1 isn't exactly an upset right? Still thinking =p

I'm not against higher stakes, I would agreeto pay something like £50. But I think it's better to more interesting to have more players with current stakes, than less participants with higer stakes. And I don't think that winner takes all isn't good idea. Many players just would lose interest, because they will see that they have no chances to win. For example, probably I won't win this pool, but I still can reach top 5 to get prize for it.

I wouldn't mind upping the stakes a bit but I don't want to price people out either and I want as many people to join as possible and hopefully the pool will grow over the years. Roughly £25 in bitcoin isn't much but doubling it or more might make many others pass. As Trofo said, I did initially see if anyone wanted to join a higher stakes pool but there wasn't that much interest or enough where I thought it would be worth it. I also don't really want to do a winner takes all. I think it's better having multiple prizes so a lot of people still have a chance of winning something. Hopefully we can get more sponsorship money as well with next pools.

I'll consider it. Maybe the winner could get the extra cash then choose whether to buy the hat or spoon themselves so nobody has to give their address out. I think we tried that last year and there was some interest but still not enough. There should be at least 10 of us to make it interesting and there was less than that. I am currently on mobile so don't feel like searching for old sign ups.

I am definitely interested and would gladly join, provided we get to 10 participants or at least close to it.

Everton and Wolves home wins and Bournemouth vs Watford a draw probably for me. I've gone for all home wins on the 3 o'clock kick-offs but I'm sure there will be at least one draw in there (maybe the Everton//Brighton game). Watford are the better team right now but not sure I'd back them to win away and both teams are next to each other on the table and are fighting relegation so a draw it is for me (I'm sure they'll both be happy with the point as well). That game could go anywhere though from a bore draw 0-0 to a goalfest like 2-2 or something so not sure whether to risk watching it or not.
