This round sucks for many members and still same happening but now I am positive as we have nearly 5 more matches in December and I can expect some good points and high rank with next few matches.

edit: Arsenal done 2 - 2 but still 30 minutes remaining and Wolves struggling against Shef Utd.
Well less than 3 minutes left to finish and still both matches are in draw position and both Arsenal and Wolves seems not making much from it. I need Wolves to score one more goal to make it 2 - 1 and if Arsenal can score too then I may get some points LOL

Edit: Injury time LOL

Edit: There we go. No points from both matches.
Arsenal 2 - 2
Wolves 1 - 1

Don't even remember what my picks were for this week but don't forget on Tuesday we have fresh games. Just put your picks in guys.

Seriously this round is not looking good for me. Out of six match yesterday, got only 2.5 points in the pool. And today seems like so far no points. The way Arsenal match is progressing, I think they will settle for a draw either 2 - 2 or 3 - 3. Norwich gone ahead twice by now! Wolves may come back but who know until the end, nothing certain.

Without any correct score (which seems unlikely today), I doubt I will even be able to get 5 points from this round.

Yup, no one got anything from Newcastle but I did bet on the upset lossAnother one bites the dust at Watford today, but doesn't this tell them something? You sack a manager, a new one can't do much different (though he got their first and only win) even though he had great spells before including overseas.

@Trofo: not 9 but 11 points vs Citeh;)

Of course, you are right I was watching live table on livescore.com but their live table seems to have at least 15min delay. It was 9 points on the table at the moment match ended and I guess they still had City with full spoils.

It seemed sort of too small difference but I was too lazy too check other sources.

Southampton settled at 2 - 1 win and this means tokeweed and LFC_Bitcoin together leading the pool with 133.50 points each! Haven't watch the match but after the equalizer I thought the match was going to settle in there after 3 minutes another goal from Southampton lost me the points LOL

Chelsea wasn't unlucky but we played badly especially in the last 3, all our possession were just useless. We didn't play like we're been coached by Lampard today instead it brought back old memories of sarriball. William should had started instead of Pedro (he did nothing for the 60mins he played).
My thought was that they were unlucky too. They had some real chances to score but missed them for very close margin.

What was Allison thinking? They were 2-0 up with 15 minutes to go. You don't need to be doing that sort of stuff. Then they went and scored anyway and now he's banned for a couple of games. Liverpool were lucky to hold onto the lead at the end.

Anyone else feel like Pep's time with City might be coming to an end? Not sure what else he can do, IMO not winning CL with the team they had the last few years is a travesty but perhaps both Pep and City need a new challenge. Don't want to jump on any bandwagon (if there even is one) but I'm not sure, looking at Pep when they have these "bad" games I'm not sure what to make of it.

I think that's pretty cynical thinking, but then again given the current climate of sacking managers for losing a few games or not winning anything it's probably more realistical than anything else. They're still in with a good shot at the CL and I'm sure that's what he's going to focus on now, but not winning it isn't a big deal given the strong competition from all around Europe and there's always next year. A Liverpool/City CL final would be great though.

I have sooo many thoughts about this.

1. the CBs would have easily got in behind to block the lob. Alisson really didn't need to do that. Did he know he was outside the box? He had to, it wasn't like he rushed out.
2. Adrian could have saved the goal I don't know why he didn't even try. We were lauded for catching Barca napping but here we have Brighton catching us napping. Absolutely stupid and I hope we learn from this.
3. Adrian was totally unprepared. Not sharp. Let his guard down and then almost spilled into goal. But he still gave us a good couple of saves so he is okay.
4. We have Alisson out for 2 or 3 games? Adrian couldn't have expected this but okay, we need to get through Everton, Bournemouth and Watford. Not the most challenging of teams and Adrian has pulled us through a lot this season so I'm not TOO worried.

I suppose we could do with making all these mistakes now and still winning. But wow we needed VVD today.

And yeah on Pep. Ridiculous to think you sack him for not getting CL but yeah, I'm expecting it any time now. Domestic treble last season, but people have short memories. There is no more logic in club ownership now.

Thought I was the only one thinking about this, he's definitely not winning the champions league, not with this level of performance. The passion among the players to win games when they're behind isn't that visible as it was, last 2 season. Just maybe them winning one of the minor domestic title could save him for one more try.

Upset in Chelsea match!
Liverpool won! (I can smell season title.)
Tottenham seems very promising with their new manager.

I was watching Liverpool match and then some shit in Meta got my mood off. When I saw Chelsea is one goal behind I could not resist to place a bet in Draw no bet for Chelsea. I was pretty much confident that they will win from there or at-least a draw. But in reality they were lucky that WH's one goal was rejected. It was a handball clearly. Chelsea was unlucky today, they played well but WH defense was good enough to stop them also there were some moments that could get some smile in Chelsea fans face but they were unlucky end of the day.

Edit:
By the way, pool performance sucks so far for everyone in this round.

Is it real! Newcastle beat Man City!

What game were you watching? They drew  Grin. That late equaliser cost me a perfect score but can't be mad when they're taking away points from Liverpool. Nobody actually went for the draw or the Newcastle win not unsurprisingly. Anyone watching the Liverpool game? Two headers scored from van Dijk to make it 2-0.

Oops, did I write beat. LoL. I think I made mistake there but well well this draw was bigger than a defeat for Man City.  Grin
Rather than Liverpool's one, I am watching Tottenham's fixture vs Bournemouth. Tottenham's crowd going crazy, what an effect Mourinho having on both team and supporters, lovely to watch. End-to-end football is being played, chances are being created at every minute. Amidst all, Bournemouth just scored Messi-style freekick.

Anyone else feel like Pep's time with City might be coming to an end? I think the same and I indicated that too in my post above. City having really bad record in CL. City always get easy group and clears it with ease but after Round of 16, they have really bad record. Even Pep failed to change that destiny. But PL success let him continue. Well, this season PL is also looking distant dream, Pep may gonna have hard time in coming months from fans.

Some great goals in the Liverpool game and De Bruyne  scoring a Yeboah  Grin. Surely Liverpool can't throw away this lead now. All they need to do is make it through the xmas/new year run of games and they should be good.

^  Yeah ffs.  My stream died before the free kick.

Edit:  Good bye title hopes Citeh.

Get dazn. Can't recommend it enough. Had it for a couple of weeks now and zero buffering or problems. IPTV streams are so inconsistent and laggy so it's worth paying the £100 for a year for a legit service.

Is it real! Newcastle beat Man City! Most valuable side of the world, most expenditure in buying new players in last 5 years, most expensive manager and beaten by whom? Some 34th most valuable club of the world! Are we going to see 'Sack Pep' or '#GuardiolaOut' slogans all over the internet in few days? That would be quite a site, lol. Well, I think we all should also retire along with Pep. No one predicted draw or Newcastle's win. Everyone dropped points in first match of the weekend.

Haha, I went for a shit & heard it from the living room. If LFC win today it’s game over for City.

Don't know why but I still believe LFC cannot win Premier League and will choke in the second half of league. I have a gut feeling, Leicester City will win trophy once again this year.

Our old boy Jonjo showed up when it matters most haha. 81% possession and the lion's share of the shots on and off target but as tokeweed said, the chances were bland and the shots (other that de Bruyne) weren't really anything deserving of awe. Newcastle may have found a new way to park the bus but they still scored 2 sucker punch goals and deserve the point.

I did bet on Toons but a draw is still a draw and they nicked City. Still a huge upset.

Thank you Shelvey. But we gotta win our own games now of course. Hope Salah finds a goal against Brighton just to up his motivation (not that his head is ever down when he's on a dry patch).

Ox is starting. Go REDS!

Well City fucked! They even now have risk to be in the 2nd place. I would not wonder if Chelsea or Leicester takes the place and Liverpool of course the season winner.

I had this 10 fold bet and seems like City will be the only reason for my lose. No point yet in the pool by the way. Can we smell an upsetting round in this one?

Off to watch Liverpool vs Brighton 3 -1 please.

If I had to pick an upset I think Newcastle has a biggest chance of walking away with something.

Called it and didn't have time to put some money on it. Damn it.

Watched first 60 minutes so I missed De Bruyne screamer and Newcastle goal, now I have to go google them up in Liverpool match half time. If Liverpool wins today and they really should they will have 9 points difference to the City and probably 8 to Leicester. That is nice cushion for the upcoming World Club Cup.

^  And there's your answer.  Grin  A sensational goal by KDB.

Anybody know a site that makes football replay gifs in real time?  Would be nice to post and show them itt.
Now we have just 3 minutes and Newcastle give very good reply 2 - 2 look like today from pool no one going to take any point. And city is also droping some points as tomorrow Leciester will on second and City will hang over with Chelsea for third and fourth spot.
