African Cup of Nations was already held last summer, there will be no tournament during this season, so Liverpool won't lose their key players.
But I don't believe that they will end season without a loss. It might happen when CL games will begin and Liverpool may focus on it, saving main players on EPL matches.

I gone with 3 -1 for Liverpool and I might be wrong here but I am pretty sure with this dominating attitude Liverpool will get a very easy win against Utd in this match.

This Watford - Tottenham was a tricky pick for me. I considered Kane not in the squad and gone with 1 - 0 Watford. Let's see.

I'll probably go for 2-0 but I'm waiting for the line-ups to be announced and whether Rashford plays. I think Liverpool could stuff them if he's not playing, otherwise it could be a little closer.

Well except if they don't. Arsenal went an entire season without winning and there's no reason that Liverpool can't do it this season, though obviously it's very difficult to do, but I think this Liverpool squad is probably better than Arsenal's prime. I wouldn't put money on it either way though but I think it's probable they will drop a point somewhere but I don't think it's going to be against United. Maybe Liverpool might come out with a draw or something when the Champions League starts again if they decide to rest players for that.

The rivalry will surely be a source of motivation, but that would be the same for both sides. Man Utd going into game as underdogs also mean they'll almost have nothing to lose.

Yep , I was unsure at first , but I just can’t see Liverpool losing. If they do , it could be the start of a run of a few games of loss of form. Nothing significant, but every team has a little ‘blip’ and this would be the best part of the season to do it.
And when a mean a loss of form - for Liverpool and this current team - it will only be 1 loss and 1 draw

Liverpool vs. Manchester United is always uncertain.
Liverpool has not under pressure to win every game. They have enough points in reserve, so not having to win at all costs. There is a difference between this and some of the previous seasons. I guess first they will want not to lose this game on counterattack like Manchester City against United.
I don't think there it can be many goals but everything is possible.

It's probably the only game I'll watch this weekend (except for the early QPR/Leeds game in the Championship). I'll obviously be backing Liverpool but I'm really not sure what score to go for. It could be a narrow home win or an absolute drubbing. Would be funny if United got some points from it though.

I'm not sure I'd bet on this game. I expect Liverpool to win but a shock result or specifically a draw wouldn't exactly shock me either. I'll probably wait for the line-ups though and as you say Pogba and especially Rashford being out really isn't good for them so a strong home win will probably be likely.

Liverpool would have too much even if Pogba & Rashford were fit. The team Klopp has built is a real destroyer over the last 2 seasons. The Arsenal Invincibles & Man City of 2 seasons ago are the only two comparable in PL history to my memories.

I'm making more than usual on underdogs, but at the same time doing more badly on the exotic leagues, BUT hedging with Liverpool-only parlays have been more than making up for losses so far (even taking into account Napoli that killed my biggest hedge).

I gave up but still with this tiny hope I try it and the fun part is basically what I count. It's thrilling looking at the scores of the matches and to see others. I think only in once I had 9 out of 15 and last round was the worse.

Anyway, two more days for the next round to start. I hope everyone already planned for their picks? I already done mine yesterday however I may have some tweaks at the final minute as I do always. This round seems to be another tough round as it's really hard to find a winner in some matches.

I'm not so sure about the Tottenham match, but these are the games where people can grab some points from the others. It's away and there's no Kane and given Watford's pretty good run of three wins I'm thinking of the draw here. I definitely don't think I'll be backing the Spurs win. Watford getting a win against Man U is pretty big for them and they managed a draw at Sheff United which is also a big result this season given how well they're doing and are only two points behind Manchester themselves. They could even overtake them this week as I doubt Man U are going to beat Liverpool but I'm not sure Sheff will beat Arsenal away. That's another game I might go for a draw on though maybe the 1-0 home win is tempting.

Brighton/Aston Villa and the Norwich/Bournemouth are another couple of matches that you can't really split and ones where I might go for the draw or another narrow home win but draws are looking more appealing to me right now. I'll wait for line-ups before I commit to anything though.
