Yeah, most people are still in with a chance and can quickly move up the table with a few good rounds so don't give up. Always the consolation prizes to play for as well for a great round so there's still some motivation to do your best.
I was not even in the top ten few weeks ago. I was in 14th to 15th place but last round was a really good round for me and that got me in the top 5. This round is going okayish, can not complain. I hope I will finish in a decent position. I never give up. It was meant for tomahawk9.

Villa vs Newcastle tomorrow. Couldn't be less enthused about a game  Cheesy.
I gone with Aston Villa however this match could end up with a draw as well.

On topic - I did crap so far this match week, 5 points.
9.5 points so far here and surprise to see tokeweed at the 2nd position 🤪

Well done tokeweed .

What did everyone thing of the offside in the Chelsea game?

Honestly, they need to change the rules for this. So many great goals being over-turned for millimetres.

I still quite don't understand the offside rule perhaps, Is every body of the players that count or just the parts that can be allowed to score a goal with ? If the players hand count, then Sterling was clearly onside, and If the hand doesn't count, It's still not obvious that he was offside. I would love to be in support that goals like this should stand, but If it can be indeed proven that it was an offside (even by millmetres), allowing some goals to stand will lead to further controversies, imho.

Fair play to Manchester. They came back with three great goals in a little over 7 minutes but Sheff deserved that point as they dominated the entire game apart from the ten mins or so where Man U got the goals. Glad I got a point from the correct outcome as well. Also glad that VAR worked this time and they gave the goal. It was really looking like they might give it for handball but the correct decision was made in the end.

Villa vs Newcastle tomorrow. Couldn't be less enthused about a game  Cheesy.

Villa vs Newcastle - As exciting as opening a gift on Christmas morning from your Auntie & it’s a pair of cheap socks.

Man Utd just turned the match around, You've got to be kidding right !!!

I have a bet on Man Utd to win simply because of x2 odds, but I lost all after Sheffield scored the second goal, but what a come back for real, from nowhere!

Edit: They fucking blew it! I'm gutted!

Well, I knew Sheffield was going to look like the better team and edge this contest, I know it's not even 72nd min yet but I really can't see United score more than 1 consolation goal the way they're playing. Blades have a problem in attack, not playing with their usual trusted defence or goalie, but United still can't get at them other than that Williams effort. That goal was beautiful but they're going to need more verve if they're going to even steal a point.

My only thing is parlaying them with Hoffenheim, who are down 0-1 to Mainz. Still lots of time for that game to happen though haha.

What a testing time to be a Red Devil. But let's see how loyal their fans are.

@hilarious: yeah I'm glad Liverpool got that goal chalked off but seriously, we need to let football have its proper flow. I wouldn't have complained about the goal and we were good for it without VAR, we need to stop looking for VAR all the time. I know it's a lot of moaning about VAR but it's marring what's otherwise a fantastic season.

Man United currently getting dominated by Sheff United lol. I had 1-1 but they're 2-0 down.

Wolves are cursing. They already have 2 goals lead and Bournemouth down to 10 men now. From here Wolves can expect a win from this match. I was thinking of a draw in this match it seems it will be too much to ask LOL

Damn it! Palace scored!!!
Liverpool 1 down!!!!

Edit: I think I love VAR LOL

Gods this VAR needs to be quicker than that though. To be fair, I couldn't have seen any foul at all. I did see Lovren fall to the ground, but I thought I couldn't see anything until VAR replay. Foul's a foul for sure, if there wasn't a push there's no way Lovren would have interfered and the goal would have stood. So yeah, we're saved by the foul. Phew.

Wolves got ahead and I can't see them losing this 2 goal lead to 10-men Bournemouth. Still need Pool and Leicester to score to bring my parlay home!

I want Liverpool to win and that decision gave me the correct score but VAR really needs to stop looking for things to dissalow the goal. VAR should only look into things if the team appeals. Otherwise we're going to have to wait minutes to kick off after every other goal.

I'm starting to believe Liverpool won't lose a single game this season. I think The Invincibles 3 will hit theaters next summer  Cheesy

I wouldn't put money on it. They were lucky to win that game and I'm sure they'll screw up at some point. The reverse City game will be a tough one.

@Pamoldar ouchie on Chelsea man! I put a bet on them after Liverpool won, was a bit impulsive there, but I didn't double down at half time haha. Rarely do live bets, I'm too impulsive!

I basically do in play bets but to chase the promotion of sportsbet.io I placed few bets before the kick off. Where I had all of them single bets. Liverpool, Watford, Arsenal at half time and in City match 2nd half will have most goals. Only Liverpool one won and all lost.

Then again at the in play time when Watford was behind then I gone for Watford and draw and few more bets including Liverpool and again all lost except Liverpool one LOL

Anyway, in the City vs Chelsea match I really wanted a draw and this is why psychologically all of my bets were favoring Chelsea with this hope that it will end up with a 2 - 2 draw but really did not happen.

^

You've got some guts man!
My balls were aching after losing a lot in the Chelsea vs Liverpool match but later Flamingo made me rich again 🤪
I did not have much knowledge about that Flamingo match but somehow some good odd just made me good profit for the day.

I did pretty ok in  Superbru, for a change predicting the same way I was betting (away parlay was beautiful, only a shame I didn't add my Norwich pick into my parlay or it would have been my biggest season win haha).

Funny set of games in the end, as Liverpool being the one expected to win the most, having the most trouble putting their 3 points in the bag. But hey, this is the way we like to do it, and that psychological boost from grabbing victory so close to the death (and the way it breaks your opponents), fantastic.

Fabinho will get his well-deserved rest too, good for him. Salah didn't have to come on.

Up next Napoli.

Sorry for your loss, Man City wasn't extraordinary tonight and If it were another team they were playing against the outcome could have been so different, but Chelsea lack real intent and they really didn't know what to do whenever they were in possession of the ball.

I’m at home with a bottle of wine, hoping for a Chelsea equaliser Cheesy
And it did not happen!
I even tried with risking some of my money LOL and had these bets:
Chelsea to score over 1.5 goals (bet placed in half time break). The hope was if they score then we will have 2 - 2 draw. LOST!
Chelsea to get over 3.5 corners (bet placed in half time break). LOST!
2nd half with most goals (at the beginning of the match). LOST LOL

I should be happy with the winnings I had from the Liverpool match. 🤪

By the way, good to get a correct score in the pool finally for this round. I have now 7.5 so far in the round. You already had it but Starling was off-side unfortunately.

Brighton (H)
Everton (H)

6 points please.
Oh yes please. I do not see real challenge there if our main squad is free from injury. We have beaten Chelsea, we have beaten City, we have beaten Arsenal and beating Brighton and Everton should not be much harder.

@Pamoldar - The season is still so long, I don’t want to jinx it but we do have the look of champions atm. We just always seem to find a way to win.
Let's stay positive, the team has the strength and the confidence I believe. 🙂

I have  2 exact scores, 1 close and 2 predictions, So not really a shit round, I also went with City to win.
Man 10.50 points so far is really awesome. You are having a good round.

At this point I have a feeling I wouldn't choose a correct score even if I could enter it after 80 minutes of the game  Huh But I am still doing OK betting wise so I won't complain too much.

Didn't watch the game since wife "allowed" me one game to watch in peace today and my choice was City-Chelsea. But Liverpool really looks like they are ready to be champions this season. Winning ugly in "small" matches when it is not your day is maybe the most important characteristic for taking that 1st place at the end of season.

And Chelsea scored! In the 22nd minute they broke it.
I think in this match City will need to be happy with a draw at best. As we can see so far in this round the away team were dominating.

It will be a great achievement for Liverpool to go unbeaten all season, but it's probably is not going to happen, It's going to require a lot more than just incredible fighting spirit to the whole season unscathed, but we'll see.

The current Liverpool team is really capable to finish the league staying unbeaten. I will be happy to see it.

A meh performance in the pool so far. Got only 4.5 so far out of 7 matches. This round really is so far dominated by the away teams.
I've got 4 pts so far  Undecided I think I predicted a 2-0 win for City, I'll be happy getting at least 1.5 pts in the pool.

Threre's one result that really messed up everyone's chances of getting more points today and that was Everton losing at home against Norwhich. According to Superbru's numbers, only 2% picked Norwhich as the winners! The rest of us expected The Toffees to win...Why does this team suck so much?

There are no complain for Tottenham, Leicester but Arsenal, Everton and Watford should have wins today. Arsenal was lucky to manage 1 point at the end. They were nearly losing the match unless in the last minute Lacazette got the goal.

By the way, does this means Chelsea has a chance to steal some points from City?

Phew.
It was not an easy win for us today but we won and got more 3 points. Points matter.
