More than being a show-off, Ronaldo always try to show superiority complex over Messi. He is always running a race against Messi, don't know if Messi even acknowledges his efforts or not. Messi removed his shirt in the El Classico prior to that one. But Messi was playing at Santiago Bernabeu and match was at 2-2 and he scored in extra time which was his 500th goal. This all justify why he removed his shirt. But the Ronaldo's act was purely envious based and he was rightly punished as he received next yellow card just 2 minutes later and was sent off.

I won't compare Salah's act with Ronaldo's as he removed shirt because of the joy of scoring against Man Utd but that may send negative message to people. It may have looked like Salah was excessively desperate to score. I could have imagined something like that from Lingard who is not able to score even a single goal this season but Salah already have 11 in his basket.  Jokes apart, it is kinda disgraceful for the opponent.

I'm sure a few peeps will miss out their picks because of these sneaky midweek games. Another load of largely unexciting games for me and a lot that I can't split again so I've gone for a load of draws. No games I'm particularity excited for but I might watch the Sheff / Man City game just for the potential upset. Anyone backing United to win or to grab a point? I don't think it will be an easy game for City especially away and coming from the draw at Palace this past weekend.  


Remember not to be greedy trying to squeeze out as much as you can from a bet. A lot of people seem to do this with the win and goals scored or over/under etc but I think it just needlessly complicates things and make it very risky and usually only for a little extra in winnings which isn't worth it in my opinion.


I always think it's silly when players do this as they needlessly get a yellow which could cost them a ban at some point. I understand when Ronaldo does it because he's a vain twat and wants to show off his abs, but I kind of expected better for Salah. Imagine if he picks up another yellow and gets suspended which could cost them some point. Keep your shirt on and celebrate as much as you want.

Last matchday was weird. First 5 games ended in draw, interesting. However, this matchday confirmed one thing, Liverpool will win Premier League for sure now. Nothing can stop them now, they are winning matches like Unicorn run. It's impossible to stop them. Unlike Manchester City, Liverpool not only rely on attacking. Liverpool got 12 less goals than Man City but defense is superb.

This week we have Chelsea vs Arsenal. I will go with Arsenal. But the biggest game would be Wolves vs Liverpool. Last time Liverpool only managed to score single goal against Wolves and match was at Anfield. But this time Wolves are hosting and they have beaten Man City at home not very long ago. I am tempted to go for Wolves in this game. Let's go for it. After all someone has to take risk why not me. 


LoL, don't know why Salah removed his shirt. It was just Man United, not Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Well I slipped from 17th to 18th, won't complain. Still made progress thanks to 2 lucky exacts. I'm betting on favourites tonight for a change, and keeping Superbru to spring surprises.

Sheffield ONLY 7/1 to beat City... shockingly poor value compared to Palace 27/1 a few days ago, so I totally avoided that. How the betting has gone to the dogs!

@hilarious: yeah, it's really tight margins even if Liverpool have been taking in all their wins and you gotta credit United for taking the risk or we wouldn't have had the second goal. I do know it's stupid to bet on handicaps for Liverpool, even if only to chase 2/1 odds. I've also been taking half-time wins since around Christmas, and it has worked out so far. Trying to predict the team's patterns now, but of course I know it's pure luck with a bit of predictability -- Pool are, according to the stat boys, highly overperforming and are due a huge correction. Well, that correction's been due for 22 games now!

Oh and I also got a Champs League outright on them. Was 9/1 last season and only above 7/1 this one, but yeah, on current form, they're afraid of no team... and all other big boys in Europe don't want to meet them.

I never bet these. Far too hard and too much to expect of the team even if it's Liverpool. The odds are never that great as well and often all it will take is one goal from the opposition to screw it up and that wasn't far off yesterday. You've always got to account for penalties also.


Well I hope so. I put a bet on them to win them both before the season started. The CL isn't going to be as easy as the PL though and there's a long way to go. I think they're probably one of the favourites but it's a different story when you start coming up against some of the European bad-boys but Liverpool are probably playing better than most of them right now.

Weird weekend overall but I'm glad the LFC vs United fixture got me an exact score to help me get a little push. 

Another incredible Liverpool performance. I don't remember going into a game vs United as confident as into this one and the game should have been over by half-time.

Ultimately United could have caused some problems and missed 2 sitters but I always had a feeling we would have scored another if they drew. The title is here, boys!

I never rated him much, but I especially didn't like him after the disrespect he showed Sarri last season (can't remember the game now but that kind of attitude, I can't tolerate in football). I know personalities don't got much to do with football on the field itself, but it's part of the team psychology, if you got a player like that, you know he's not all for the team and that just tells me he won't be there when needed most. He definitely let Lamps and co down.

@Pamoldar well I didn't do too well either, but I hit the sweet spot with 2 exact picks. Again, the problem with that is I keep playing like this and I won't get those precious slam points.

@hilarious: Yeah Salah saved me a lot of parlays as I stupidly added Liverpool to win by 2 goals (to get more than 2/1 odds). I actually thought before the stats confirmed it that the last time I saw that goal was from Pepe Reina (who's just joined Villa).

@the guys in the side bets. I'm not throwing my money or tempting the fates by betting on Liverpool to go unbeaten. Besides, the odds aren't good enough. Might as well bet it on every Liverpool game til end of season. Would probably end up with x10 if you did that for the remaining 16 games!

Man! What is going on with me? I got only 4.5 points in this round. From last few constitutive rounds I am doing my worse. Losing my top position and I can not help it. I got only 2 right pick out of 10 matches. Damn it!



Last minute score from Salah made me lucky too. I had a bet for Liverpool to score over 1.5 goals. I was thinking in this match we will see Liverpool a score of 3 -1 for Liverpool. There were chance but luck did not favor.

I think Liverpool will win rest of the matches (all of them without any draw) but still having a pool not including draw will be very risky for those who will bet in favor of Liverpool. I am in a fence if I should update it or not LOL.

I think I can since no one yet bet for no defeat or even no draw except me for no defeat. But again too risky.

Got the correct score in the Liverpool game in Kloppage time  . Nice assist from Alison and great run and composure from Salah. Surprised that nobody went for the Burnley win. Another one goal ruined my correct score.


I'd bet if it included a draw  . I just don't really see any team being that much of a threat to them right now, but I can see them slipping up on a draw. I don't think them playing Wolves away in the next round will be easy. Looking at Liverpool's fixtures they don't really have any big teams coming up until the last handful of games at the end of the season and Liverpool will likely have already won the title by then.


I'll lose a lot of respect for him if he runs off and cries to another team just because they didn't win the title. He should just go again next season.


Too bad you changed it. I had it down at 1-0 but changed it to 2-0 once I saw the line-ups. Could have been 3 or 4-nil though as Liverpool had two goals disallowed.

I just checked and found out that Rashford is unavailable for United, that's made me change my initial 2 - 0 to 3 - 0 win still for Liverpool even though there's a conflict of interest between the pick and side bet I got into.


That's quite unfortunate despite going for numerous draws to pick the wrong ones. I couldn't see the video, it keeps saying it's restricted to country, I don't know why, though.
