Life, Love and Laughter...
Lololol.  I just saw LFC_Bitcoin's prediction for the West Ham - Man United match...  The first thought that went in my head was:  'I can feel the hate flow thru you'.  Lmao.  Cheesy

The thing is both teams will field weaker sides especially because they are playing each other again on the weekend. But, I feel that Liverpool has the squad depth to field a very capable team. Everyone bangs on about Mignolet, and how awful he is. However, he's gone far with them in cups before, and is a excellent penalty saver if it comes to that. He's not a terrible choice like the fans are kicking up. I think we'll see Sturridge, and Shaqiri get some game time too. I'll be watching this game in the background to get a decent feel of the fans reception of both teams.

That is because the saying fortune favors the bold. In this case Liverpool is the bold because they have full points so far from the EPL and although they are not shinning in attack they are winning games. This gives enough boost to the adrenaline and euphoria of the team and I think Chelsea don't stand a chance against them on Sunday. Cup games are not real testers as many teams do not play their official 11, rather give the opportunity to new players to test them.

Its exactly why so many people are predicting them to win it. They haven't even clicked, and are still turning mediocre performances into wins. That's the winning mentality they have, and as soon as they click I would be worried about facing them. You only have to look at the Reddit of their opponents, and its literal fear of getting smashed, and losing goal difference. A lot of saints fans thought it would be a lot worse. Seemed like Liverpool took their foot off the pedal in the 2nd half to account for their up and coming fixtures which at first looked a little daunting.

When/if they click it could be devastating. Liverpool have just been grinding out results which they never would of done last season.

Last season it took Salah the first 10 games to score 5 goals. Then he scored 5 more in the next 3 games. And we all know how he finished that season.

He's only scored 3 goals so far this season. The fact that Liverpool are top despite them not clicking, as you say, is impressive. If Salah can come back up to the form he was in at the end of last season, Liverpool could run away with it.

Chelsea game against Liverpool I think there will be no story here, Liverpool will have an easy win. Chelsea just run the ball against West Ham and did not create any real threat during all the game. If they play like this, they do not stand a single chance against a super Liverpool in this beginning of the EPL.

I wouldn't be too sure. They have a cup game tomorrow, and will both be able to figure each other out. If Hazard shows up to the game usually the rest of the team does. Don't forget Liverpool haven't exactly been clicking. At least their front 3. That's the scary part though. When/if they click it could be devastating. Liverpool have just been grinding out results which they never would of done last season.

^  There was a rumor that David Moyes sent Zaha back to Palace cos he was fooling around Moyes' daughter (prolly having sex).  I'm not really sure how true it was, but it went around quite a bit...

I think that was true yeah, I searched for her on Twitter a while back & she’s on there. Quite soik & blonde, pretty. Looks like what footballers go for, I bet it’s true Grin

As for the weekend I did OK in the pool, currently in 5th place I think.

1 win for Spurs and we still have hope to turn things around. I do not care Kane did the penalty for goal, it is still a goal and he needs the confidence to help the team climb back up. Predictor performance is improving, nobody would guess for the Chelsea draw so whoever got that right deserve some applause.

Strange to see Watford and AFC Bournemouth above and below Us and Manchester United and Arsenal. Just good thing we have goal difference at this point, can you imagine United with 0 goal difference after 6 games?

This was awful weekend for me. Both in our predictor and in the bookies. Managed to get almost everything wrong but Chelsea not winning today cost me quite a lot of money. It was my top pick of the weekend and I usually get those right. And the weekend started so well. I had money on Watford to score first and not to lose the match.

Ah well now it is waiting game until next matchday Smiley

I lost all my bets I put on but did pretty well in the predictor after falling down the table quite a bit last week. Four correct scores and back up into the top five and only three points away from first position. Burnley turning over Bournemouth 4-0 was a shock. I said they might bounce back with this game and being at home where they're usually strong at but tried to play it safe with a 1-1 draw. Luckily few people even backed them to win. Can't say I'm looking forward to any game this weekend other than the Chelsea / Liverpool one.

Whoa the Hammers held vs Chelsea...  I didn't watch the game.  But from looking at the stats, it seems like Chelsea should be up by two...?

Sometimes the stats look good but the club was actually stale when you watch the match as how some City matches are.

Abysmal performance from Chelsea, they had the ball but they couldn't do anything with it. West Ham were absolutely incredible on the defence, the back four were superb, and Fabianski was fantastic were Hazard & Co. managed to break the two defensive lines. West Ham deserved more, but the final score is fair. If they can keep up this form against the top teams, West Ham might become a tough side to beat.

I didn't expect Man Utd and Chelsea to drop points this weekend, both teams messed up my bets and my predictions (I had both to win their respective matches  Lips sealed ) though somehow I'm still in the top 3 in our league.

I was kind of watching whilst doing other things. They seemed to dominate the first 10 minutes or so, and threatened a few times. But, then West ham started to hit a few counters, and it eventually turned to a pretty boring game where no team had any real opportunities to score.

Edit:  And btw, how much are the odds for Neil Warnock to be the first manager to be given the sack this season?

I watched the game and Chelsea didn't really create anything, they got completely locked out and even though they held the ball more or less all the time West Ham came closest to scoring, sort of boring game Cheesy

Yeah, you get a limited number of automatic picks if you forget to makes your own. I guess they have all ran out. Not great since we are only on week 6.

It seems I keep overestimating United. In my head they are still this great team that beats everyone and is a guaranteed 2nd place at worst. That's just not the case at the moment.

Honestly, the way they are going. They aren't even going to get top 4. They look clueless in areas. Pogba had a decent assist, and Fred finished nicely. But, they are just so timid in attack. Lukaku just isn't a top 6 striker in my opinion.

I thought this week I would have done terribly but no, I am still in 18 place and only 14 points difference from the leader. It just shows that things are extremely tight in this tournament.

This is strange to see this round 3 players didn't get any points. I thought the system made automatic picks for you if you forget, so they should have at least got correct scores for the expected winners like Manchester City? Or did they run out of picks or maybe forget to let the system pick for them?

Not that I'm complaining. Helps me move up the table to 19th Wink

My only exact score was United Wolves 1-1, thank you Wolves! Seems I wasn't the only one to predict that draw, so I don't feel so special now. I have a feeling I can get many points on United draws now.

Ooh damn I didn't hear about this story. I just know a few days ago he opened up about it, and that he had depression. Honestly, my knowledge of it is limited to the headline, because I didn't read it due to data issues, and haven't really been bothered to look at it as its likely just the newspapers spinning a headline off. I'll have to look into it later on.
