Yeah, like Trofo says. Locking in just prevents you from changing after seeing someone else's picks. You don't have to lock-in scores as long as they are saved (they show up under each pick as "Saved" in green). I tested this for some other games already and just entering picks, making sure they're saved, gets your points.

Hello everyone, I accepted the invitation to join the league pool already, I guess I was one of the early ones

I am still trying to get myself used to the superbur management system, I joined 2 other pools in there, one just with all the hotspurs fans, over 2,500 of them, I have a feeling for them this season Wink

They should lock automatically after the deadline passes. At least it was like that previous season. I usually lock them manually as soon as I enter them. That way I am not in temptation to change them until the last minute.

How many participants in fantasy group? I am contemplating joining under real name since I already have an account or making another one (which is major pain in the ass). If there is very little participants I will probably just skip it.

The site has been running a fair while so I'm sure it's one of the most reliable. The BBC site was just a one time thing it seems and there was some problems with the scoring towards the end so I would much rather prefer reliability over usability, but the superbru site seems just as good maybe even better with the consolation point for a near miss. They also give prizes out like SuperSix but the chances of winning are astronomical. As they say you got to be in it to win it though haha.

Just to clarify and confirm, yes, you can choose to lock your picks (optional). Doing so will let you see other people's picks, but you can't change yours anyway, so I see no problem in this at all. Since you choose to see if you want, and only those who lock picks can see each other's picks. Just do it. Once league (pool in SuperBru) is created we can join it. Don't go join 10 though, you can only join 10 at a time.

That's correct. I joined a random public league just to get a feel for things. Trying to view other predictions prior to making my own was met with an error message. After I had locked in my own picks and they were no longer editable, I could see "Community Stats", which is a list of scores with what percentage of people had picked each scoreline.

Would definitely be good if we can remove the option to see others predictions. That makes a joke of the whole pool if people are able to do that.

I’d defo be in favour of removing that option.

It's the same sort of game as last time, only the points have changed slightly. I'll probably set up a free to play one for the fantasy league and see how that goes. I'm not sure I'll even stick with it though. Depends how much work it is. I tried signing up for the Premier League site yesterday but it just wasn't processing for some reason.

I'll probably send everyone who has paid the details on how to join the league in Monday.
