I needed that exact score, hopefully I can get one of the other two games today right. Need to start doing better this season.

Me too got this correct score and hopefully I can get another one from the Chelsea game or at least a close one. Three correct scores for me so far this week and it looks like my recovery has started. Last year I was sitting in the bottom of the table until 7-8 week in which I really started to make a difference against many others. I hope history repeat itself, and it starts from this third good week.

I’ve got -

Newcastle 1-2 Chelsea
Fulham 1-1 Burnley

See how it goes, hey. I didn’t know you were from Italy, who is your team? Juve, Napoli, Roma, Milan, Inter?

Inter is my team but they are doing disastrously these latest years, our glory time was with Mou, when we beat Barcelona and won the Champions League after more than 40 years.

By the way I have Fulham-Burnley 2-1 and Newcastle Chelsea 1-2.

I'll try and figure out how to pay the 3 pounds a bit later and set up the CL league as soon as this week's EPL is over. Just need to not be lazy.

I'll try email them about it but I don't get why you care so much about this. Especially to the point that you're willing to sacrifice your own privacy and hand over your personal information and debit card to them. Nobody can see your scores until they're unable to change theirs. The only way this could be abused is if there was some collusion between a couple of users where one puts their scores in and shows the results to others. If people are so concerned about that (which probably won't happen anyway) then either put some fake scores in at first or none at all and just make sure to put your correct ones in before kick off.

Sorry, Capt'n, you misunderstand me or I must have misunderstood the conversations above.

I actually don't care about it, and I also don't think there's any risk of collusion since scores are only shown after or once you lock them in. Now that I've tried Superbru, I like it. No one can change it after viewing other scores I know this... but if it would make a few others more keen/comfortable to join up with that option enabled (I understood Supremo doesn't like people seeing what his picks were?), I really don't mind the small spend to keep all the league members happy.

I use disposable virtual cards from my Entropay for all these 1-off small purchases too, none of my personal details are ever linked to purchases this way.

I don't see those options here in Italy, my only options is 2.29 EUR for 1 month of premium look and feel of the website without add ons. I want to really buy the privacy package and for 3 Pounds it is not a problem for me or anyone else.

Care to share a link ?

It's probably just shown to those who actually create a league there.

I'm so proud of myself for that City 1-1 correct score, and yes, that was the only result I thought to go severely against the flow today, I even hit 2 correct draws but 2-2 for the 1-1 and scoreless for the 1-1 so at least I hauled myself out of the bottom floor. Only 3 points needed from tomorrow on a nice hit to go level top this week, so yeah guys, it's anybody's game every week!

Liverpool 3 opening wins, clean sheets, best start I can remember in recent memory. Salah matchwinner, no injuries, didn't play at their best but still won against a tough team. Everything is going good so far. Alisson tried a few fancy moves, hope Klopp dampens that down cause he almost, ALMOST let a strike through near the end by being funny. Crowd favourite already though.

Got two correct scores today. Would have had three had it not been for the late goal from Arsenal. I was going to ask if Sojourner was purposely making shit picks as some sort of self-sabotage, but he actually was the only one to get the City score correct today haha.

For those that were complaining about the 'privacy' issues, superbru does have a paid option to remove the feature to be able to see users picks for only £3:

But they don't seem to offer any other payment option other than debit cards:

And there's no where to put the name in so I'm assuming it uses the one you signed up with and since mine is Mr Hilarious Andco that's probably out of the question. It's a non-issue to me though because you can only see others results once you've locked yours in. For those that are worried about any possible shenanigans or collusion you should probably just put them in at the last minute. If somebody wants to create a pool for the Champions league and pay for the premium feature I have no issue in that.

I have Everton 2-2 as a correct score and the referee has given more than 10 minutes of additional play. Also the red cards ruined my Southampton score in the last minute, at least I got only Arsenal on correct score. The Everton game still continuining and still accepting live bets, something wrong here.

Edit: finished now, glad I did 2 correct scores for this round already and they are my only scores right.

^  Wolves got lucky.  Aguero and Sterling both hit the wood work in the first half.  But you gotta give them credit.  They held against the best club in the EPL.  Looking foward to more of their matches.

They did hold city off and the EPL will be much more beautiful if Liverpool wins later today. I never thought that Man.City would not be able to beat a newly promoted team from the Championship but apparently City took it to easy and took it for granted.

@Welsh good idea to do that. I'm also setting aside some time after this week to just enter predictions til end of October. Form is always a tricky thing to predict but it's no big deal to change a prediction before the match itself.

^  It's the reason why I think the 'dark horse' for the EPL title is Tottenham.  Chelsea and Arsenal are rebuilding, Man United are shit atm, that leaves Man City and Liverpool.  Spurs vs Liverpool at the newly renovated White Hart Lane should be good.

My dark horse has always been liverpool, who until this season were tipped to finish below Spurs by most pundits. They're the clear favourites for a strong challenge and Spurs appear not to have strengthened, though their WC players don't seem to be getting any exhaustion (or are we waiting for them to finally crash in October/November?

Signs are good though. Kane broke his August hoodoo, and they're meeting United at the best possible time so early on. Arsenal only in the rear-view mirror. Everyone is focused on everyone except Spurs, so yeah, they've got far fewer distractions.

Looking forward to the pool today. I’m in Liverpool for the game, got myself 2 hospitality tickets with free drinks & a 4 course meal pre match too.

My boys need 3 points today. Would be nice not to be a total fucking loser in the pool this week though. Not doing very well in our betting pool so far this season.

I got 2nd last and last in the last two rounds, and still predicting a few shockers today, so let's hope I don't fall down farther. 3-0 wins have got me 2 close scores from Liverpool, so 30% of my points are from them. Here's hoping they give me 3 fat points today too.

Gonna watch Wolves hold City off in 5 minutes. GL everyone!

Don't get me wrong, Brighton played very well against United, but you can't overlook the fact that United are playing awful. They have zero team cohesion and don't seem to have a tactic to fall back on when things aren't going to plan. The stats from the first two games put Man Utd last in the league in terms of time spent in final 3rd, and 17th in the league in terms of attempts on goal. I think Liverpool will beat Brighton without too much bother.
I didn't catch the game live, but I caught the highlights. Looked to me like Brighton held their own, and threatened. Man utd might be shit at the moment, but they should have the players to change the game in an instant. I think Liverpool might struggle. They didn't exactly hit first gear against Crystal Palace, and Brighton are a little bit stronger defensively I think.

I am expecting a "boring" Premier League season. Meaning City will win another title with Liverpool giving them a run for it until Champions league brings some tough matches and few injuries start to happen. That is the time City makes 10 points advantage and keeps it to the end. I am seeing Spurs as comfortable 3rd with Chelsea and Arsenal fighting for last CL place. Maybe somebody like Everton could make a surprise and keep things interesting. I am seeing Man Utd as biggest disappointments this season and expecting Mourinho to get sacked around winter transfer window.

Hope to be wrong and something like Leicester happens again Smiley

It is too early to say that. Teams like Liverpool are strong opponents for the title run this year and if they just f the Champions and focus fully to win the EPL title , I am pretty sure they can win the title without any problems and the likes of City or any other team won't be a real hindrance to the title run to them if they focus totally for that aim.

I think the interesting one will be Liverpool vs Brighton considering Brighton did pretty well against Man Utd. We'll see if Liverpool are actually title contenders.

I'm going to sit down later today, and just put in my predictions for the next few months to make sure that I don't miss any weeks. I think I've seen enough from most teams to get a general idea of how they are going to perform.
