Awesome, thanks hilarious! It's going to be "painful" for me to wait a month after WC2018 for another chance at the pool pot. Haven't done well in either, looks like will end below the middle again but I see quite a few new players at the WC pool, be nice if every single one of them also joined up EPL, though understandable that not everyone follow the English league. I saw OP and it says five of us also signed up for the bigger 100-pound pool, so hopefully that's 2 pools to participate in. Allows for strategy mix. I like.

Liverpool tickets go on sale to members week commencing July 16th so I’ll be in the online queue getting as many as I’m able to. Annoying sometimes, you see certain games getting sold out whilst you’re still in the queue. I usually try to get 8-10 home games per season.

Yes, you predict the score and get points for the correct outcome (win, lose, draw) and much more points for getting the correct score exactly right. I will PM everyone nearer the time about payments but it will probably be a week or two before the Premier League starts. Hopefully the bitcoin value will rise again during the tournament like it did last year and we'll end up with a nice bonus for the pot.

The current price of Bitcoin has no bearing on me whatsoever. In fact, I've gone several months without checking the price a few times before. I normally got my updates from the forum when users were panicking. I care about the value of Bitcoin rather than it's current price.

It's not much for anyone on a half decent signature campaign to be honest. You could probably make your money back on Chipmixer just by posting in the discussion thread throughout the league as well though. good fun either way and a decent chance of making some money.

If nobody in the list leaves the betting pool then sure, let's go 50. But I'm mostly doing this for fun, so if a lower buy in gets more players in then that would be better imo.

For me it doesen't make difference but we don't know the monetary status of other participants. Maybe doubling the basic fee would be deal breaker for some of them.
Maybe you could create a poll and let people choose. If you decide to go that way make sure to include several options like:
1. Don't care I am in anyhow
2. Only 25 works for me
3. 100 is a must, to differentiate serious gamblers from weekend enthusiasts, I want to be part of elite Cool

Ok, I admit above needs some working but it seems to me a poll would be the simplest way to get your desired feedback.

I was thinking, should we double the joining fee from £25 to £50? Would everyone be ok with that? We could then scrap the £100 pool and just meet in the middle. £25 isn't much at all (and neither is £50) and I'm sure most gamblers spend that in a week at least. You've got to remember this is an entire season of entertainment/gambling for a fairly decent prize so is well worth it. If we can get 20 users then that would make the pot at £1000 so it's better winnings for everyone. Just asked micgoosens to join for next season, he’s a really cool guy. From Belgium, he’s the guy who gives away free bitcoin for correct predictions on the bitcoin price at certain intervals (in the Speculation section - Wall Observer).

But yeah the pools are cool, a number of us get on really well & who knows when we see 1 bitcoin at $100,000 we could have a pool party somewhere Cheesy
