Next few rounds are going to be tough for everyone, with 15 maximum points things could look much different in the end of the season.

or probably nothing if you keep losing, Im losing hope to stay out of the relegation zone !

My best bet would be waiting for few people on division 2 to get their 3rd penalty point then drop out of the competition lol. As for you, you are pretty much going to secure atleast top 3 position or probably even top 2. I got no doubt that you are going to make it to division 1 next season, all the best for you on your good run so far mate !

Wow, cryptofrka are you some kind of fortune teller or prophet or something? I just remembered to check the result and I see it was a draw. So Trofo it looks like you will get your revenge, even though it will be less BTC than in the first friendly Grin

Anyone saw that world champ in darts won... but had to survive an early scare from a 16-year old kid who rode his way to the final? He still won a bit of money though for a pub game -- I still can't really bring myself to call it a sport when almost all of them are really out of shape haha.

Your Atletico couldn't stop them. Girona is on fire,  morata gave them a run but it is what it is.

And who can begrudge them this kind of luck, anyway, eh? Fully deserved, with all their injuries they still needed to score to ride out Atleti's waves, and after beating Barca, this is yet another statement. Good point to you, now I have to back Barca to win big so we can proceed to pens.

Well... On SofaScore I have seen odds 1.35 on Spain.

Nah, they aren't that big of a favorite. As Trofo said, initially it was 50-50, currently it's 1.75 on Spain on Supersport.
Considering that we're playing at home, I still feel that it's 50-50. You lose with a draw though, which happens in waterpolo more and more and which might be something both teams would be happy with if the game is tied near the end.

Oh, you are right... I never thought about it. So I guess that Trofo has more chance to win this point. I hope that the fans will give some extra push tu Croatia that they manage to win in the end.

Waterpolo name is something I really cannot get past my head I know we discussed last season origins etc but I will always find names of some sports weird, and I blame English people for always making it so lol

Last season IIRC all waterpolo questions were won by ignoring favorites, as well as basketball (international not nba). Not important for me who's out of cup but I think it pays except for football, to choose the one with tiny amount of worse odds.

I don't follow water polo to know about Hungary and Greece. All I know is that Hungary was once a strong nation in water polo. Maybe they are following Croatia footsteps.
They won last 3 against Greece, one of which was wold championship final last year. So they were top shelf last year and I don't what changed in those few months to make such discrepancy to odds. You can get even +3.5 handicap today which is really a lot in men's water polo between two good sides.

To be fair bookies don't agree with me. Bettors do. When cryptofrka was making the question he told me odds were 2.1 on Spain. I did not check them until today but if that is right they have dropped a lot. My bet from today has them at 1.65. And odds changes are reflection of betting markets.

While we are at the waterpolo topic, I am too lazy to do research but I don't know why Greece is favorite against Hungary and a big one. Handicap on Hungary seems like free money for me unless there is some news that Hungary is boycotting the championship or they removed their whole team.

Well... On SofaScore I have seen odds 1.35 on Spain. I'm not sure where they are getting their odds from, but that's a big drop if few days ago the odds on Spain were 2.1. It looks like everything is going your way, but we will see in the evening.

Regarding Spain, I think that is another point for me. Spain has been rising in waterpolo and we have been falling. Best showcased by our H2H, we are leading 7:5 but last 4 games was won by Spain.

Yeah, I know that Spain is getting much better and we are getting worse as time goes by. But I expect Croatia to put more effort than usual as it's played at home and in Dubrovnik which citizens are mad about waterpolo. Looking at the odds, bookies agree with you but I hope you all will be proven wrong Grin

Damn that Ivan Martin with his goal in 91st minute. I already counted 1 point and then he had to ruin everything and now Trofo is in the lead. Thankfully, Serbia god kicked out of the United cup so that question will be the same for the two of us. Now Croatia has to win against Spain which will be tough, but I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to win in front if their fans.
Did you watch the game? First half Girona played great football and could have scored even more goals, only some really composed finishing from Morata kept Atletico in the game. Did not watch the second but if it was similar than point for Atletico would have been a steal.

Did not know how the game would actually finish but I was sure there will be goals in it. After my tickets with both to score and over 2.5 goals passed did not need to watch anymore Smiley

jayce and Navidart, guys, you gave walkovers so early on! 4 or more, what was I thinking, that Brighton always scores, but so do Hammers? Right?

Barca and Girona to decide my round with Chi20, and yes, I'm fully expecting Atletico to stop the La Liga leaders in their tracks, while Barca find their way back up.

AFCON is active, actually thought the thread was recent -- feels like yesterday when I picked a nice early outright on Senegal so that tourney ended on a happy note. Sadio's probably not as good a player now than Salah so my money's now on Egypt but I think Morocco and Algeria have a constant supply of talent to ensure they're always in the running.

Girona game in a bit, let's hope it's not a draw yeah Chi20?

Happy birthday Harko man, keep some cag presents aside for more pools and bets eh?
never a draw when Girona is at home . Either win or loss.
And I just had my first point.  Auto next match.  I should've stayed with my early pick of Las palmas win or draw, I'm kind of regretting Changing it to Barcelona win but let's watch and see.

a bit off-topic, since there is a topic dedicated to AFCON, but odds suggest that Ivory Coast is a close to being top favorite, with Senegal and Morocco
Algeria and Egypt just behind them

host is always a good pick, so Ivory Coast in SF have to be a value bet
but overall, Ghana @16 seems as value bet IMO, if you want to pick outrights that can be, and provide more value than straight favorites
considering your taste for underdogs, South Africa is @40-50, it is not cricket or rugby, but they play football too
