Regarding this - we're aware it could have been misinterpreted. We thought that the form of the question itself (Inter will have to resort to all kinds of tactical tricks to upset City) pointed to the fact that the bench cards will be counted as well.
Inzaghi's move was tactical - it allowed Inter to send all men forward for the last cross - so we will count it as a 4th yellow card.

In the future we'll make sure to cover such things, but we have also added the following rules to the OP.


Whenever something is unclear, either ask us in the thread (we're always lurking around) or check these general rules we wrote.

I guess its a good start on season 2 for me, I was so close on losing against you but I think its a draw for us right with Israel winning the 3rd place and Korea got the 4th place. Basically the final round wont matter to our answer because we both had the same selection on the 1st and 2nd winner

I think we had similar questions in past and it was said that only cards on the pitch is counted. It's same thing like when you bet on card under/over markets.

The correct answer should have been 3 cards for inter.
the question did not say anything about the bench being included in the card. Then I would perhaps consider my answer differently. In this case, it was the coach who received the fourth card for Inter.

I didn't expect Inter to be defeated by City in the regular time of the match. Inter had the opportunity to reach extra time, but they didn't do so, especially after wasting several chances in the last quarter of the game. The defeat means that I have lost an advantage, and now I'm two points behind my opponent @woodie. I congratulate him on a well-deserved victory.

I can confirm that the BSFL has definitely make me follow sport much more than I used to. I still didn't start watching games live because with three kids it's rare to have 2 hours of free time at certain period of a day, but I'm reding news, statistics and other things that might get me an advantage in the BSFL. Since I'm still the only one who managed to stay unbeaten since the beginning, I guess it's working for me

Yesterday and after the WC here in Argentina we are expecting to Scaloni to cut him from important games, he always miss in key games. And yesterday was again the same.

He cant miss that chance, Inter knows they are gonna only ahve ONE chance and was that.

That is exactly the point of BSFL to get you all hooked up to as many sport events as humanly possible.

You asking for round 1 results? They will be up tomorrow since U20 football question is actually played during the night from Sunday to Monday our local time. Questions for round 2 will be live in a couple of hours so you can start working on them

Here are some basic sports grading rules for BSFL that will be incorporated in OP. It is quite difficult to cover all the outcomes in all questions and these should help avoid some misunderstandings. Let us know if we missed something obvious. We will add to them over the time for other sports when we find the need for it. These are sometimes in line with usual bookie rules and sometimes opposite so read trough them rather then make assumptions.


Sports Grading Rules – Following will be taken in consideration unless otherwise stated in the question itself
* Football question are regular time, no extra time or penalties.
* Cards in football are counted both on pitch and off pitch. Yellow card is one point, red card is 2 points. Second yellow is one point. Meaning any player can accumulate maximum of 2 points.
* Player props, like goals scored or assists are for the purposes of our competition are counted as valid even if player did not play a single second of the game.
* Forfeits in sports like Tennis or loses due to technical problems in eSports are counted as regular ML wins.

Yes, and the Man City that we saw yesterday was actually beatable. From the first minute you could see that there is something massive on the line for Man City and there is something big they could lose. It was kind of how a team would play that still has some trauma in the back of their heads from the lost finals in the past and Inter Milan did their job even better than expected.

The chances they had in the last part of the game, especially the header when Ederson was essentially hit by the ball and the ball defended by Ederson, should have been a goal. Even though it was very chaotic in that situation, he could have given the ball a different direction.

But good to see that Man City did it. They deserved it for the way they played all season long (past seasons included).

That Lautaro missed chance felt like it was the best half chance they had all night and for Lautaro's quality that was some poor execution, and you could actually tell that this was the best chance after Onana spoke his mind out over this incident at the end of the game..Poor INter Milan

Speaking of Lukaku, I think we have seen these missed chances one too many times over the years, and am not surprised that he failed to get on the scoresheet after 2-3 great chances...whatever gets in his mind really needs a shake down to get his confidence and scoring back on track!

I've never rated Lautaro he is not a brave striker; he nearly ruined Argentina's World Cup chances, and the coach was brave enough to let him sit on the bench and watch; he ruined Inter Milan's chances of winning with poor decisions and selfish play; he saw Lukaku running behind in an open space, but as usual, he tried to score from a tight angle. The goal may have completely changed the outcome.

I was into the game until Onana created 2 yellow cards in 10 secs to knock me out. -1 goal is not bad.

Looks like it's down to the wire for tonight's earlier U20 game (my opponent has the 3rd and 4th place answer different from me) to decide if I get nothing or everything. RG final is going as expected, one-sided... but not the side we expected (me at least, I thought it'd be a straight set win).

That was such a stupid mistake and his reaction described it perfectly. That was the chance Inter was hoping for and Lautaro squandered it. They had more chances later on which fell for Lukaku but then it was already 1:0 for City and I am not sure it would be enough, but goal from that mistake would have gutted City.

Doing great in this round so far, just one wrong answer, don't think I was ever in such good form before. Seems like though training sessions between seasons and good transfer policy paid up for my team 

Well having some competition going is makes following the events always a bit more fun.

That was a close game between City and Inter. It is once more not Haaland who decided the game and I have just had a quick look at the highlight summary again and I have to say that Inter did at least deserve to tie the game in the 90 minutes. I thought that it is going to be hard for Manchester City, but respect for Inter's performance. When you are up against Manchester City and the game goes like that, you are definitely worthy of the title. City wasn't able to get their game going for an extended period of time. This trophy could have gone to Milan as well and nobody would be surprised after yesterday's game.

It is a bit sad for De Bruyne as every player wants to contribute full time in such a game and he got already injured in the last final.

Did anyone see Guardiola's knee fall when they made the mistake in the defense and Ederson saved against Lautaro?

I am sure he is getting ready for revenge, and Djokovic is getting back in form so I am expecting better match next time.
