Unfortunately, making withdrawals difficult after winnings is becoming a more and more popular practice. I'm just surprised that Stakes.com, after so many years of hard work to build such a large number of users and such a good image, is now starting with such controversial practices.

So far they are doing good resolving cases about KYC in the scam section but many more are complaints are coming in, they just have to beef up the support and make it clear to their players about their policy, as one of the top casinos there's always complaints because every player has their own issue and situation, they are still on top of their game and one of the top casino in the industry.

Me too am thinking of just giving up with the KYC.
I have no issue with that as I have done it with other bookies but what they request is simply unreal
<...>

That is not true. They do not ask you to provide all those documents. These are just examples they suggested that you can attach as evidence for "source of funds". Of course, you won't need to submit all of that. That would be silly.  Smiley

Let's talk about this after hitting a huge balance, they will definitely ask for documents in order to verify the account then let you withdraw your winnings.
Check some related gambling boards and tons of accusations there, many users got emails to verify accounts due to timezone difference on browser vs IP location.

This is not true.  It would be for most casinos, but not Stake.

You won't be required to KYC in order to withdraw, only to continue playing.  Unless you're suspected of cheating or scamming some how, when they decide to KYC you, they put your account in withdraw only mode - you're still able to withdraw your balance whether you decide to send in the docs or not.

You are missing the point. Please read again what nakisama wrote here and what I replied. Don't just write nonsense like he does.

"Source of funds" is a pretty standard requirement in KYC verification (that doesn't mean I agree with it) and what they listed are acceptable documents for source of funds. This does not mean that ALL these documents are needed.

I think you didn't quite understand what @seleme meant.
He meant that at the moment these documents are not required, but they can be when someone manages to win a large amount. He even gave an example that some casinos require documents to prove that you were really in the time zone according to your IP login time.

I love stake as much as anyone but I have recently stopped playing here because one of my friends whom I know in real life got his funds locked and there was no apparent reason either apart from that he won big.

I understand all the KYC and stuff they need but blocking funds and keeping them is not a solution at all. I withdrew immediately all I had and now I am not playing here anymore until at least his problem is solved. No hate though and I am sure they must have a reason to ask for KYC but delaying and blocking his funds for weeks with no update is simply terrible.

Anyone who plays at stake, while they are great at bonuses, I feel KYC is becoming more of a necessity at this stage maybe because of the license or whatever.

Over 4 years on from when I initially joined, my account has been blocked due to not fulfilling KYC  (I have no intention to either).. Gutted to be honest but this will probably save me a few $$$ in the long run

All the best for the future Stake

-Salary (even this is not guaranteed to be ok for them)
-Sales of shared or other investments / liquidation of investment portfolio / bonds
-Sale of property
-Inheritance
-Company sale
-A Gift from a family member or close relative
-Winning the Lottery
-Divorce settlement
-Loan
-Mining

What are you talking about? These are the KYC requirements that must be submitted to pass the Stakes.com verification?
If it is true, I'm sure that at least 95% of users won't do it!
It looks like domination of Stakes.com in the cryptocurrency casino market is coming to end.

The moment we're waiting boys and girls!

Monthly already came ~XD how much you are getting, today my new "ATH" claim for monthly reward. I claim the reward and get more than 300$ this month ~XD insane number, most the time the highest is around on 70-100$.

Wow $300 ? very tempting, your monthly increase maybe because you just got a new vip level, vip level affects the bonus that we get right? do you know the total wager is calculated from 1 December? yes it took about 6 weeks that means there is an extra bonus for 2 weeks, May I know your total wager since December 1? I just want to compare it with my wager.

These users might've gambled good amount and now they might've lost big. Out of mental pressure they are making allegations against Stake. Gamblers need to be responsible, because what we do is completely risk involved. Here things can be positive as well as negative, we need the mind to accept it.

Myself experienced similar thing. During the beginning days of Stake I lost big out of gambling and I even requested the team can you please give atleast a small part of what I've lost. The support people clarified, they are not in a situation and you need to be mor responsible while you're into gambling. Finally they said, if required we can help you take a break. That is how I managed and it happens with users mistake and throw allegations over the platform.

Might want to consider taking break from gambling, you're acting insane.
It is better to avoid and ignore those users who does trash post like this. They are nothing else than a big losers in gambling who aren't able to control their emotions. I'm also surprised to see that lots of people complaining about the monthly bonus amount on Stake twitter post. They are saying Stake has given less amount in monthly bonus. However, a good thing is that Stake has mentioned “Wager calculated since the previous monthly bonus on December 1!” in the monthly bonus message. Otherwise we would see few more useless post like this from these kind of users.

Sports odds provider sucks too.
Stake originals are all a scam.
Reward system is also a scam. If you are a winning player, you won’t get rewards.

@LetsGetIt834 What is the point of your posts? What are you trying to do by saying this and that since you Edited your scam accusation title as solved? If you think they are doing scams and you have enough proof, Just create another accusation and submit all the documents you have. So that everyone can be aware of them. If you don't have. Or you don't have a running issue with them. You should stop posting shit here. As I can see, A DT member left negative feedback on your profile for this kind of behavior.

Stake has built up a good reputation on the forum and also in the gambling industry over the years. There are also no allegations against this casino. I don't understand where all this fuss is coming from.
Players are usually always very satisfied with this site, with no complaints of any kind. The platform is very powerfull.

LOL no allegations? How about the 11 times they have refused to pay out customers? How about the guy who’s owed 80k right now?

How about them scamming legitimate players?

How about them advertising rewards that don’t exist?

How about that scumbag Eddie talking more shit than what comes out of your ass?

How about all the Monopoly money they give streamers to make it seem like these guys are legit players?

Casino RTP is controlled by them.

Reward system is also a scam. If you are a winning player, you won’t get rewards.

If you are a losing player, you’ll end up with a host who will try to brainwash you into thinking that what you are receiving is “good” and better than other casinos.

Shall I continue?

Here guys, enjoy a scammed monthly bonus which wasn’t for the 46 days because we are going broke and can’t afford to pay our players what was promised. Let’s get Eddie to delay the monthly too so he can make people post free monthly on social media to get some more attention on the site. What absolute scumbags.

It comes with being a Casino really.  Most players will lose.  Many will react naturally by trying to frame themselves as a victim to avoid accepting responsibility for their decision to gamble however much money they decided to risk.  It's a shame because the only ones who actually benefit from players crying scam instead of just crying are the casinos that actually scam players.
