Exactly, winning a 1000x is happens maybe one in a million times so I wouldn't get my hopes high to also win that multiplier. That is sometimes the problem with some youtube videos, they only share highlights with high wins but who knows, the overall amount could still be a loss but they don't often share that.
He should know x1000 is max payout so how can everyone get it? it takes luck and lots of spins can't predict when it will come sometimes with 10 spins or thousands of spins
The owner of the video must have warned there was a risk and only for entertainment unfortunately the audience didn't pay attention it's part of recklessness and greed.
I watch some of the youtube videos and they have huge amount of money playing and I think casinos or gambling sites funded those streamers as as an advertisement. Anyway even though it is hard to achieve that doesn't mean it is impossible, it is a jackpot so no one actually knows who is going to win it and it will come unexpectedly and targeting it is not a good idea.
So, is this definitely 98% win chance..? I do not think so. I even swapped strategies to play some Plinko and Limbo in between, but the results were the same. (spend about $50 to qualify for 1 x $0.30 and 1 x $0.50 rain in 5 days) 
You can be motivated by some of the other users' big wins but have to be prepared to lose even though losing is annoying, you still have to accept it.
