I dont think it is 100% about patience but it is about common calculation of your expected lose based on how much you wager in 1% house edge game as well as about strategy to wager big with small bankroll

. However, it will also be depending on our luck as we may wager more or wager less than the common calculation of the expected lose. If we start with $5 only, means we need to do small flat bet to avoid lose the all the $5 quickly. It is what happened with me during the past month where I wagered more than $50,000 (to reach plat 2) with around $250 deposit. Luckily I did not lose all my deposit when I finally ranked up to Plat 2.
