We will be making a statement within the next 24h regarding how we will handle the US election settlement. As noted we need to take our time to get this right.

Well, just wanna put this winning bet on here

Risked more than $80k in a single bet on stake, and made total profit almost 20 btc from US election from few casinos,

reference : https://bitedge.com/blog/i-won-19-7-bitcoin-betting-on-the-2020-us-presidential-election/

Betbtc also shared that in their ANN thread, the bettor uses different sites in gambling, maybe to avoid the limit and minimize the risk.

All we demand is integrity, transparency and clarity. All you demand is to illegally and unfairly settle this because you want to be paid early and get your way regardless of rules.

@janggernaut I wouldn’t be surprised if more such bets pop up in the next few days, and I also believe that it’s a lesson for all of us, that we too can win if we choose to put faith in our beliefs.

@Hybridverse first of all I don’t think that Stake has cleared the bets relating to US election, and @Stunna has already asked for 24 hours to announce their intentions regarding the election bets, so why’re you trying to raise an non existent issue?, at least let them reach an conclusion before you raise your voice here.

Guys what happened with the Lamborghini that could be won? Is the promotion finished?
It is still going on but to be honest don't have your hopes too high if you don't have at least 1k tickets because there are at least 15 lakh tickets. Now you might wonder how I know this? Because I have the last ticket, from my 29 tickets which has ticket number in 14 lakh range and I haven't earned any ticket in recent time so if you have like 15k tickets then you have around 1% chance of winning.

What makes me feel better though is that after each draw the big ticket holders are removed and we can maybe win the $1k prize from the 51 of them because once whales are removed we have a real chance then.

I have placed a bet on Trump on Stake and I am all for a FAIR grading of the bet.
Only because the media announced Biden to have won doesnt change the fact that the media does NOT decide who the winner is...

And the comment reaching for straws, just look at the year 2000, ring a bell, Al Gore and Bush?
Al Gore was announced the Winner by the media but Supreme Court overturned the decision and guess who became President. Oh yeah Bush.

So the bet clearly states, next president, which does not mean whoever gets announced President by the Media.
The next president is who the Electoral College deems President and that Decision has not happened, therefore the bets should not be graded...

Whoever bet and now wants to have their Biden Bets graded should have thought about what they are betting on, it has not been declared and therefore cannot be graded.

I wont post my bet, because a) none of your business b) I have posted on here plenty of times and am an active bettor on Stake.

You are on a betting thread not in the politics section, if you want to keep posting about it then go there.
If you haven't placed a bet on the site then why are you posting on their announcement thread for?
That to me seems illogical to the extreme.
And you are speaking for others now, saying I am for media rules. I am going by what other bet providers are doing.
We are talking about the outcome solely on the what the betting odd providers declare here right?
If you don't have a bet and refuse to show proof that you have placed a bet on the site then why even comment?
This is truly absurd to be discussing this with some one who does not have any stake involved on this matter and on this site.

Here are why people want stake to settle this asap and not have it drag out due too the grasping of straws feeble attempts for keeping themselves in the white house.

As stunna has stated: it not who you wants to win, it is what the odds providers dictates who is declared as the outright winner of the market in question.

I will ask once again:
Do you know which odds providers they use? Clearly you haven't been on stake for a lengthy amount of time.
Because from what you are posting, you are clearly stating they will be going with whatever betfair uses.
Which as far as I know is wrong.

"Before settling the markets, we must therefore wait for clarity around ongoing vote counts, recounts and any potential legal challenges to the results." Betfair latest statement.

Is obvious that the election is still pending, reason why only the Media is pushing this narrative but Betfair, unlike 2012 and 2016 aren't following the media in 2020 because they clearly know that this is far from over and that there are too many facts that need to be clarified by proper authorities and not the media before concluding. This is very important to understand and very delicate so I look forward to a transparent, factual and legal approach by Stake

With everything that you keep posting about the betting process and procedure each and every site should take to determine the winner of the election,
have you even placed a bet on this site and on this market?
If so then by all means post a screen of it here for all to see as proof.
Much like trump needs to have proof/evidence for his case(s) to stand up in a court of law.
Do you even know what bet provider this site in question uses as a source for their decision making?
I certainly do. Wink

Seriously? Way too slow guys. It's already been a while since the entire world learnt about the new 46th POTUS, but you still need 24 hours. Georgia is basically Biden's at this point which would put him over 300 votes.

Biden will still win by a decent margin even if he loses Arizona though I doubt this would happen.

Media doesnt elect and announce Presidents Wink
A little school lesson Smiley

Yes looks like Biden won, but this isnt over and this will continue to go on.

Hoping for a repeat of 2000.  Smiley
Lol. It's over and the facts won't change just because you Trump supporters are in denial. It's a miracle that such an absolute idiot was elected as President for a single term. Accept the result and move on.

Again, Media doesnt announce Presidents, he isnt the President yet.
Oh and Dems can accuse (see 2016),
God you are delusional  Cheesy

On which moment does Stake.com asks for KYC ?
I think at least a couple of years ago. I found a quote with this rule in theirs terms of service:
Quote
Terms Of Service

6. KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER (“KYC”)

Stake reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a User. Stake reserves the right to restrict service and payment until identity is sufficiently determined.

The text has been amended as follows:

6. Know your Customer (“KYC”)
Stake reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a User. Stake reserves the right to restrict the Service, payment or withdrawal until identity is sufficiently determined, or for any other reason in Stake’s sole discretion. Stake also reserves the right to disclose a User’s information as appropriate to comply with legal process or as otherwise permitted by the privacy policy of Medium Rare N.V. (owner and operator of Stake), and by using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility of such disclosure.

The big question now is only at what amount or at what time does Stake decide to request these documents? It doesn't seem to me that it is completely random.
