You're right, the game providers are the one mostly blocking the sites even though stake also don't allow users from a few countries they're fine with their users having vpn.

In wiss' case the fetching error could be just a bad timing where stake is under maintenance as other users experienced the same error as well. If it is confirmed to be blocked I think he could use the alternative site stake.games.

By his forum name, it looks like he got scam by Nitro, but please not in this thread because stake has a good reputation, and their sportsbook also have a good market with competitive odds, enough said. Grin

It seems that he was so pissed off by this scam or loss at nitro (we do not know exactly), which forced him to make such a username. If he has a bad experience in one site, it does not mean that all sites are scam. Everyone can play at stake with peace of mind that they are playing on a trusted site.

Some people also use VPN to bypass the gambling restrictions by their own government or by the casino sites. In both the cases, this is very risky becasue not only it may create legal complication if you use vpn to play gambling which is banned in the country but also playing at a site where they do not allow citizens of certain countries to gambling on their site.

The funny thing is, I remember clearly when first things got started like race and challenges and all that, and one day we saw that there was this funny situation where first one (I mean winner) wagered like 190 bitcoins while second one had 4 and third had 0.8 or so, so I quickly realized some people are not in it for the lottery or raffle or competition or whatever it is going on at that moment, if that winner wanted to win only and that is it, they would have stopped at 5, or even 10 if they want, he went to 190 bitcoin because he was just gambling for fun and that was it, didn't cared about anything else.

So, this Lambo thing is the same, some people will gamble without thinking about Lambo, they will gamble just for gambling sake, you just gotta do your best and not worry about others.

So don't expect too much and I think the tickets will continue to add up if it is still a long time, especially in the lottery in December, of course many people will be enthusiastic about winning the lambo but are they strong enough to buy tickets in large numbers? by luck it was more than enough for me. Basically only certain people could collect more tickets.
I am sure this is a draw that is very much awaited by many people, especially the loyal stake.com users who want it first.
