Super Bowl will basically be the biggest betting day in any sportsbooks history every single year. I don't want to promote stake on stakes topic to make it look like advertisement Cheesy. However, make sure where you play your super bowl bet, there are few good places and stake is one of them (there are some others too of course but we all know stake) and I would suggest picking the place very carefully.

Historically all the "new" places that pop up one or two months before super bowl usually took all that ton of money that people bet on super bowl and ran with it instead of paying people. So the following week will be a very painful one for many gamblers even if they end up winning, do not take risks and play somewhere you have played before and been around for a long time.

@justdimin yea Super Bowl gambling bets are huge there’s no doubt about it, and you can definitely discuss stakes odd here as it’s Stakes Ann. Also you have raised an interesting point because many new gamblers would fall for the trap of new sites who may offer high odds but disappear when the time comes to pay, hence it’s very important to gamble on known and trusted sites only.

Wow I am so happy with this upcoming NFL event stake has, it is so awesome! I mean come on, what other book has this. This event is a huge deal breaker for me in terms of where I will be betting on super bowl Sunday. I think people should check out that event as well, it might have some value for them. Like everything when it comes to betting, do it at your own discretion.

Honestly, I agree with almost all other Oscar odds, 1917 is actually the best "movie" in the sense Oscar looks at it, Joaquin definitely will get the oscar for sure, no doubt about that, and Sam Mendes deserves 1917 and best director as well, basically all of those odds are great and usually same everywhere else as well and it is not really that much different, at least the favorites are same everywhere you go even if odds change.

However, I just disagree with Brad Pitt one, anyone who watched The Irishman knows that Joe Pesci played an amazing role, he was really instrumental for the movie, he was beyond a supporting actor in that role, he was basically co-stars in that role, Brad Pitt was amazing as well and could even be considered leading role however I can think of someone else instead of Brad Pitt on that role whereas I can't think of anyone for Joe Pesci, that role was literally written for him and he played it amazingly.

I stand with Ukraine.
I just noticed a mistake in the Best Picture betting regarding the date of the event:

At first I thought it might be only in the Best Picture category, but then I tested Best Actor

and there is also a mistake, although the date is different:

Idk, maybe there are similar mistakes in other categories as well, but one can see it only after placing a bet.

We're running some pretty amazing promos at the moment, you can find them all in one place! 👇🏼

https://promotions.stake.com/

The 1BTC promotion on sports betting is quite amazing although it is not easy to win it because player need to have 10 correct prediction out of 10 selected matches.
Good thing is that there is guarantee prize for 5 closest/best entries. The minimum bet is also worth to try. Imagine if someone make perfect multi legs bet on this promo, afaik the odds for this multi leg bets of 10 matches is quite big already.
It can be a very nice winning bets and awesome additional prize from the promo. Good luck for those who are participating.

~ Joker was not just a "money making movie" of course but it just wasn't in the award genre that much, enough to be nominated but not enough to win.

I beg to disagree. Joker won The Golden Lion, the highest prize, at the 76th Venice International Film Festival, and, apart from that, Joker received so many nominations and won so many prizes at various film festivals that they have devoted an entire separate page in Wikipedia for that:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_accolades_received_by_Joker_(2019_film)

Anyways, after winning 32k on Slots today

I decided to add 68k and to place my bet on Joker already.

I hope to win, but only time will tell, as they say.

Also I disagree with your opinion that Joker will only win one award at the Oscars, because I feel that film deserves to win multiple awards at the Oscar.
Joker obviously deserves to win multiple awards while Endgame deserves majority of the awards, but it doesn't work that way. For example, an amazing actor like Leo won an Oscar after a long time even though he deserved multiple Oscars for his amazing performances.

The public was outraged over that fiasco. This is just 1 example to show that commercially successful movies don't usually win these awards(They mostly don't care anyway since they won both money and popularity).

Regarding your calling high grossing movies winning Oscars exceptions, well, maybe let's take a closer look at the Best Picture winners from the last 20 years.

Gladiator - $460.5 million

A Beautiful Mind - $313 million

Chicago - $306.8 million

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - $1.120 billion

Million Dollar Baby - $216.8 million

The Departed - $291.5 million

Slumdog Millionaire - $377.89 million

The King's Speech - $414.2 million

Argo - $232.3 million

Green Book - $323.5 million

As you can see, 10 out of 19 Best Picture winners grossed over $200 million in the box office. So, those cases aren't that exceptional, in fact.
Honestly, grossing $200 million dollars is an alright achievement these days. The big ones start at $500 million and go upwards which is why only 2 movies qualify in this list(Gladiator and Lord of the Rings : Return of the King).

Joker did something monumental indeed and rightfully deserves multiple Oscars, but it will probably only win 1 Oscar(Best actor) which makes sense considering how Phoenix was the heart of the movie. If you are willing to bet on it anyway, I recommend small amounts.

@Hanebu your analysis is correct because $200 millions is not considered a big achievement in today’s date, but I also cannot deny the fact that it takes lots of efforts for films to cross that barrier. Also I disagree with your opinion that Joker will only win one award at the Oscars, because I feel that film deserves to win multiple awards at the Oscar.
Grossing a lot of money and winning a best picture is totally different things, some movies are made just to make money for example. Would you really see Marvels End Game as an Oscar winning movie? I personally would because I love it and watched it probably 10+ times already but that doesn't change the fact that its not "Oscar type of movie" which is a genre of its own. When you shoot a movie for rewards it is totally different than shooting a movie for money, they are two totally different and separate type of movies.

1917 is loved because it is the perfect Oscar type movie, same goes for Irishman actually, it was basically a big award movie, maybe even marriage story, as you can see they all have that award vibe. Joker was not just a "money making movie" of course but it just wasn't in the award genre that much, enough to be nominated but not enough to win.
