The US pool was working great at first, seems like it is having issues. I'm getting a lot of socket errors. I stopped mining it for now since it's making my miners mess up connecting/disconnecting over and over.

Awesome, This is not an ICO but dev's contribution is great. Only one question is that why total supply are 7,632,819,325 EDC? Is there something special with that number?
7,632,819,325 is the world population by July 1th 2018 (source: http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/). So at that time, everyone in the world has opportunity to get 1 coin 
In fact, every parameter in EDC has been considered carefully, ex: With the total supply of 7,6B It's better to say that "this Macbook costs 10 EDC" rather than saying "this Macbook costs 0.00142 BTC".

You have to wait for the balance to mature. If you go under "pool blocks" you can see the maturity depth of when your funds will be payed. This is the case for any pool ever made xD
