Crypto influencers play a role in providing information about crypto projects that we might not be aware of. They may be paid to feature a project on their blog, and as viewers, it is our responsibility to judge the authenticity of their statements. Once proven true, we can consider investing.. otherwise, if proven false, we have the option not to invest and may choose to unfollow them for their lack of transparency.

Good point. People hate influencers because they tend to pump their own bags, but we need the information coming somewhere. No matter if it's a crypto "news" site, or a person who follows closely what's happening on the scene. Those people often even have teams working for them. We can't just brush them all off by saying they are "just" influencers. They are the ones bringing us more newbs and actually educating people. Well some of them are. But any influencer just following charts and throwing in target prices are waste of time imho. The ones commenting on the price action at all are not worth my time, and i have followed many of them in the past.
What do you expect? That is the purpose of influencing and people have started to know now, and more exposure is opening people's eyes. Well, I have never been that kind of a slack person, I have always been smart and know that what we see does not necessarily mean that it is so, so it will be unwise to believe all that you see by a common man that is trying to sell a product or service. A lot of packaging online these days, so we should not be surprised about them again, but we should not let the bad ones also cause us to lose our opportunities. I say this because as we condemn influencers, we should also think of the positive side as it has helped some people to get the fastest information that changed their lives forever.

Only that we should know the kind of products/services we are opting for so that we do not regret. Making our researches is good too, that will ensure that we do not make mistakes. Specifically, crypto influencers are in both ways, good and bad, we should find a way to decipher the truth in what they say and commit our money if we are satisfied in our minds. Also, if you did not buy "a lie" at times, you might not buy "a truth," it has to do with risks too. Many people had risks it and had gained massively through it, there are testimonies everywhere as well. But we have to avoid being scammed which is the ultimate here, and once we are not scammed, any project can work even the ones that started bad, they might later surprise you. We've seen a lot of such and more will come.

Social media crypto influencers especially in YouTube has caused a lot of problem amongs the  newbies By promoting fake coin. and this fake coin are being bought by newbies which gradually turn to rugpull as time passes by. so I urge each and every one not to invest in such YouTube or Twitter promoted coin. because it is definitely a rugpull. and any body that buys it will ever regret why investing in such coin that is my piece of advice on newbies on crypto influencers.

it is a fact the newbies watch random videos without investigating about the narrator therefore they believe on all narrators and then randomly select coins. In such way newbies have lost large part of their money but I think its not the fault of influencers because they will share knowledge about the coins which they would have found beneficial once but in fact every coin never comes in similar way all the time.

Losing of money at start is not a big talk because person has no experience when they enter the market and when they follow the instructions of influencers then they will not remember that what is better or what is not but I don't think that those who follow influencers at starting stage are wrong because they will learn from anywhere in which influencers are better choice for them.

If you can't take your own financial decisions, then cryptocurrency is not for you. This is the reason why everyone will say that do your own research before investing. No one will come forward and give you any actual advice about investment. It has to be your choice and anything that happens like profit or loss, it should be the outcome of your own decision.

If you like the ability to find out which one is to invest in, you should never invest. Influencers are like cancer. You cannot get rid of them as they flooded the social media. Don't follow the mass, Make your own decisions.

We have to make own decisions,it is correct but if we get some information about new projects from the influencers where they discuss deeply about any project then I think it is not bad to get knowledge and then do some own research and after that we could be able to make right decision whether it is suitable to invest or just some days hype. I agree that 90% influencers are just making videos on promotion projects but I will say also that 10% influencers you will see that their videos are worth to watch, Their articles are worth to read where we get lots of information about different things we cannot learn by self. We should follow them just for educational purposes not for investing advisor.
There was a mistake in my previous reply. I wrote can instead of can't.
Anyway back to the subject. 90% bad influencers and 10% good influencers. That does not seem correct. If you leave a rotten apple in a basket full of apples, others will become rotten too. Same way if you put one good apple in a basket full of rotten apples, the good apple will rot eventually. The whole influencer thing feels like a scam to me. They will provide you with many good knowledgeable thing and they will put a little bit of something bad, and you will not know it.

One lie hidden amongst 9 truths makes that one lie seems like a truth. And those influencers will always say that this could go either way. So that they can be on the safer side when you point fingers at them. It is hard to look for knowledgeable articles or words from the influencers as there are God knows how many influencers out there. Anyone can copy and paste something from the internet and call themselves influences.
Even the reliable sources are not providing with 100% accurate knowledge. Hard to trust anyone these days.

It's not all the time that they will provide helpful information about projects. But what they are mostly highlighting is the emergence of their viewers why they need to invest into the projects they're reviewing. I have been a victim of those before but good thing that it's not so big amount and learnt from it quickly. That's why if you are just going to be dependent on them, you're going to lose a lot of money if you're not so quick to realize that you've been sold out by these influencers.

However, the information they provide can be wrong or right. As potential investors, we need to do our own research first because sometimes influencers are paid to provide good information, but not bad information. So, as wise investors, seeking more complete information will be our task. It would be better if we decide for ourselves whether it is a good project or not, and decide to invest based on existing data or not. After all, if it wasn't like that, then we might regret it when bad things happen.

Depending on influencers before we make any financial decisions in cryptocurrency is a waste of time. We need to stand and make suitable decisions for ourselves rather than depending on what is not necessary. The crypto influencers we are depending on are also getting there information from somewhere. We need to be relax and take crucial decisions that is going to help us whether now or in the future. No body is going to take responsibility of we make decisions based on influencer and lose money.

Not just about pointing fingers but most of the times they fully know the incapability of the project launching into the market and they still deem it necessary as to promoting such projet not considering the financial status of their followers who will invest in such projects. Most of them just want there pay and care nothing less about those people who would blindly invest base on the promoters influence.

It is good to be careful and knowledge enough to check closely before investing in any project despite who they use to promote the project.
we can't blame the influencers. However, they are only paid to promote projects for the duration according to their work contract. Whether their followers invest in the project in question or not, of course, we have to assume that everyone has the knowledge to do research first. so they won't regret the advice from the influencers they follow to invest.

The impact of influencers promoting too many failed projects will also be quite large. it also affects his followers who may leave and no longer follow him. So I think influencers also have to be more thorough and careful if they want to choose projects to promote. however, they have loyal followers, who may simply follow the advice the influencer gives.
Yes we can't blame them because they are paid for the service but there are some that are doing it for themselves and not for anyone and those ones are the scammers projects. And most of the influencers are promoting projects that they know nothing about, and when people were influenced to join the project and invest in it and later the project collapsed then the influencers are to be blame. And many of these influences are celebrities so their face and identifications are very much clear in the public.

Just imagine a popular footballer is advertising 1Xbit. Does it look good? We have to be careful of what we advertise because it back fire. Though if you don't know, then you should not be blame bod it and when you have known then back out.

Influencersbare not bad people but we just have to be careful how we sort for information from them. Many of the influencers in the Crypto market are just there for the purpose of gaining more from the market. There are influencers that are being paid to promote projects that might not be suitable for financial investment. That is one of the ways many bad projects mostly get their investor. Marketing is a tool to gain more investors into the projects. . investors are people that is going to make project surge higher than normal.

Because in the end, the words about DYOR that some influencers always say are just an excuse so that they can promote it while attracting more benefits from paying for what they promote and of course temporary benefits for a project because in the end what we need to realize in this case is that they really don't really intend to benefit others.

And such things are very common to happen because after all when we are faced with a situation in profit then we will do it for ourselves first regardless of whether it is a supporter of profit or loss it doesn't really matter because all we need is for personal gain, so it is the case for influencers so it is important for those beginners not to get too absorbed and believe what others say because it could be just for personal gain not as a whole.

Sigh! I'm surprised that few comments on here are still taking influencers side after all the damages those influencers have done on our new crypto investors, I have someone who called crypto a scam till this day because of a influencer on YouTube, he lost all his money and the funny part is the token is a scam project.

Everybody is now a crypto analyst, celebrities and influencers who promote new projects without any knowledge says exactly what they're scripted to say, so far they're getting paid. I commented on a thread in this forum where Christiano Ronaldo, advertised a new project, many investors rushed and bought it because a superstar endorsed it, only for the coin to dump and become worthless, I hear that investors are suing him. I'm sure that in court his lawyers will prove his disclaimer, while the ignorant investors will lose their money to scam developers. Truth to your word, many people have tagged cryptocurrency as a scam because of their experiences in the hands of these influencers that are working to get paid by scammers.

Whether or not the influencers are getting paid, people should build the habit of Doing their own research when it comes to investing and trading. You bear the financial risk of your decisions and should not base those decisions on someone else's opinion.

There is no guarantee in cryptocurrencies, so any project that "promises" any type pf growth at all is a huge red flag.

Truly influencers and celebrities are out to make money for the right price, they'll advertise your underwear for you you for a price, so relying on them to get a genuine information about a project can be deceptive. So it's better after hearing these hypes, as a potential investor to carry out due diligence before commiting your finance, otherwise the investment might end up a shitcoin. This is an ugly trend because people tend to believe in a project when they see popular celebrities ondorsing such projects. Best thing is to ignore such adverts and inform family and friends about buying into what they hear on social media, without doing thorough investigation about the product.

Your point about crypto influencers is spot on! Its very important to be aware that many of them are paid promoters, and their promises might just be a setup for you to fall into those scams. Trusting them blindly will end up having them laugh at your face all the way to the bank.

With this coming halving and bull run of Bitcoin next year, it is certain that there will be a lot of crypto influencers who are starting to pretend to be experts in Bitcoin, but they are not. Even the crypto influencers who have lasted until now are just hyped to their viewers and followers.

So it is still better that we ourselves conduct research on the things we want to know about the crypto business in which we live. You can watch, but don't immediately believe what they say in the video.
This bull market that we are entering it is very sure that influencers will use it as a strategy to lure people and to promote shit coins. Those who don't know anything about crypto and the market will fall for them in this season but as for those who makes research to confirm how authentic information from the Internet can be true will escape the things that this influencers have to say. It is not every every thing that people who claim to be expert are correct, some things needs to be look into for good findings.

Influencers now are just like those Shitcoin shillers , they are being paid to make projects looks great but in the end scammers lol

Never that I trust any of them from crypto influencers to Gambling influencers(in which the most popular nowadays)
instead I trust only my own digging to find which project or coins to invest and risk my money, or much better to seek answers in this forum that letting myself being fooled by them.

You were correct in that matter, There are no influencers who only want to be successful, and they will not make any money from it. We know that influencers seek profit through their views. So I don't like most of them, but most of them are fraudulent, just for the sake of getting a lot of views, even if it's a lie that they don't care just to get a lot of views.

So you must be observant, curious, and careful above all; don't simply believe what the influencers say. So that we don't fall prey to the wrong information that they provide. That's why they only target those who don't really know anything about cryptocurrency.
