One of the worst species out there is called a crypto influencer. Most people don't know anything, because in reality nobody knows anything, it's impossible to know. They all work with deception and are scams.

If you need influencers to make decisions, the worst that will happen is that you will lose all your money.

Therefore, the best way out of this is to study and understand what you are getting yourself into.

Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.

People need to understand that they are YouTubers and not Traders. Their main source of income is YouTube ad revenue and promotions. Their content is just about Cryptos, but they don’t have enough knowledge about it, neither they rely on cryptos to make money. Hence, we need to stop following them blindly. They promote coins and get paid or do affiliate, that’s all. Rest everything they promote is turn out to be scam or shitcoins.
the reasons people are still sticking and following them are because their influencers often time are so persuasive in their content even with their click bait title that attracts so many people into thinking that they gonna be getting some genuine information with the content but at the end of the day its just some content to get people into investing in some certain coin etc, thats the thing.
although undeniable that sometime these influencers are giving some good knowledge but there's more likely always gonna be some ulterior motive along the way even more so when their followers are already so many they'd start selling course which we don't know whether that gonna work since they never disclosed their history of trading and so on.
I guess people should be more smarter to know that rarely people gonna make other people rich.

but its not so bad following those channels that provide news about what is going on in crypto space like the channel of Paul Barron or George. i have been listening to them for some time and there are news that i only heard from them which is not posted in this forum. ETF updates and SEC regulations are always the news that i always want to be updated that's why i'm following those channels.
They sometimes give you a good information not about those altcoins they promoted but the altcoins in general, you can follow that and filter what is good or not. But it's not that advisable to just follow them without you do some research as well. But still if you already choose one or two of your news media, it's always better to just cross-check on different platforms to ensure the legitimacy.
yes the key is having the capability to observe the market by our own, its good to get some heads up about some new altcoin but we should also know to only pick those that worth the investment by simply looking at the fundamental.
therefore I think whats essential is knowing how to analyze.

if they are influencers who shill coins, they are always biased with what they are saying.

Not bad to follow good channels that are providing news and articles that they've read. But it can't be avoided that there will be time that they're going to shill projects. So watch them out when the bull run comes because a lot of projects will use these influencers as their channels for advertisement and shilling. This is a common trade for the crypto influencers as they get paid to have their insights making it look a genuine reaction but it's all paid and shill.

I always watch any videos from Crypto Influencers. But, i never follow them to buy any token in their content.
I only understand their good and discard bad information.
Everyone wants to make money in the system; there are various methods to milk the system, and everyone has a strategy. We should ignore impoverished information about a project, and we should not rely on influencers for cryptocurrency updates; instead, we should schedule time to thoroughly analyze the system. We have crypto influencers who are primarily interested in profiting from the various videos they have created; these influencers have received deals from crypto projects for promotion, regardless of the project's roadmap.

It has been exposed many times but people here are still fool to invest or be ready to believe in those influencer that can make them instant rich in short time while they are only fooling them , and instead of investing in shitcoins or other coins then why just buy Bitcoin and keep waiting for sometime to make profit?
the longer we are willing to wait is the more profiting we may get in time.

This is something everyone should be able to notice by default. Most times the title and even the image of the video will show that it’s not their real opinion but that they are probably paid to post it. All those 1000x claims are crap because if they know that much, what are they waiting for? Why not invest all their life savings in it? So the next year they’ll drive a Lamborghini? Well, don’t make your crypto investments decision just because “he said” “she said”

They also give false information and often they describe the tokens way too much because they are just actually hyping everyone who follows them. Sometimes they put some baits on their captions without giving any consideration that it could lead to a major loss of someone who is fanatic about their opinions. That's why everyone is obliged when it comes to their investment in crypto because this is all about money and you can't just simply mess it up here especially when your capital is limited, you need to make sure that the coins you are buying have a high chance of success based on your gathered personal knowledge.

We are  not trying to draw a conclusion that all these Altcoins this Influencers do promote are all scan. It is very good to watch their video cause sometimes they tend to share useful informations when promoting projects. so it is left for you to decide try as much to pick the odd ones from the even, forget the hypes they will attach to the project, do your own research as no one else will bear the outcome of your loss.
Take your time to understand the project they are talking about, some of those projects they promote can give profit but first have knowledge before investing your money into it.

it's good and I do it often too  Grin
When you do that you have done two different things, namely, the first is that you increase your knowledge about crypto and the second is that you help an influencer complete their work. I say that because I know from a friend of mine who was once a crypto influencer and to get paid he had to make interesting videos and had to reach the agreed number of views.

That's why doing your own research is more important than hearing input from other people, many people are trapped because they are tempted by someone's advice even though they are quite influential in the crypto industry, because actually those who promote must have collaborations with related projects, and of course their goal is only to gain  payment for the work done

this is why some influencers are using their scope of influence to attract some of their gullible followers. and the problem here is that they are being paid whereas their followers are not. people need to learn their lessons before they will come to the conclusion that they are just being duped by these so-called influencers.

if they are not doing any research, they will soon be bankrupt by these weak projects. because let us admit that most of them are just created for the mere reason of devs' pocketing money. as you can see, most have no reason of existence at all. pure talk but no solid ground to sustain their market.

We don't have to entirely stay away from influencers since we can always get information from them about the market but that does not make us to be fully dependent on them for what we want in the market. The market is volatile so we need to get solid information from influencerd since we get do it on our own about the market and how we can become a better trader and investor at the same time making money from the market. There are lots of things we can achieve in the market and we don't have to relent much on people around us. The internet is there for us.

Yeah I agree, these ‘crypto influencers’ are mostly all grifters, absolute bullshitters pushing shitcoins on poor, gullible dreamers. Do your own research & don’t fall for their snake oil. There are loads of these scumbags, Ben Armstrong is one of the worst aka BitBoy. You have the likes of Crypto BitLord who is a total scammer. It’s a shame because most of these guys started early in Bitcoin but through greed got sucked into shilling scammy altcoins to their gullible followers.

It is very true, as this youtubers and tiktokers play a crucial role in misleading their followers and those who would watch those videos into buying shitcoins. Most of the people who buys the shitcoins do so due to the influence and reputation of the person used in marketing this Altcoin. Not all turns out being bad but majority of them don't make it for long as their sole aim is just for the pump and dump.
We need to be sensitive enough to managing our investments and not look due to the hype and reputative influence of a person or medium at which they use to promote the project as those people are paid to do so and have no interest in the project, not even do they invest even a penny into what they are marketing

It is true that most crypto influencers are not experts in these fields and only do sponsored videos for the sake of money. Most of the projects they talk about, they don't invest in, but there are a few gems in the sand who are really good at bringing good projects to their community. This type of people are very rare in the community but luckily i know few of them who release very good content for their community gradually about the latest developments of the market and any potential upcoming events that can impact the market.

yep, 100% correct, they were paid for it, making the project's image shine as if it were the next eth, eth killer and others, even though it's a trash product. especially new projects with low liquidity, it is very easy for you to lose your money there, still be careful when investing, always do your own research, don't trust anyone, except yourself. whether influencers on YouTube, TikTok or any social media. Be careful my brother, many loan sharks want your money during this bull market.
