What you said is actually true, anytime I visit YouTube or telegram I always watch crypto advertisers, who always promote some coin, making it look like they have potential which they have not. Just like you said that they get paid by YouTube. Because the total number of view and likes makes them earn money. Though not really all that do advertise fake coin or promote scam project, but do it for the reason beat known to them. Maybe of help to people who need to know about it or do it just to gain more views. I don't even see a reason why someone will advertise something that is not good, where as if the project turns out to be a fake project you loose your viewers.
This YouTube crypto influencer are paid by the project at which they are promoting on their channels. They are not concern with the potentials of the project, they are giving the job as a means of advertising and bringing new investors to the project. The crypto Influencers viewers becomes the very victim at the very end for those who choose to invest into the project.

It is always advised to DYOR before investing, yes at times they might promote projects that are genuine but do not mind the hype they always attached to their advertisements, you alone will bear the loss so extreme research is to be considered before making any investment.

Influencersbare not bad people but we just have to be careful how we sort for information from them. Many of the influencers in the Crypto market are just there for the purpose of gaining more from the market. There are influencers that are being paid to promote projects that might not be suitable for financial investment. That is one of the ways many bad projects mostly get their investor. Marketing is a tool to gain more investors into the projects. . investors are people that is going to make project surge higher than normal.

Many people have little knowledge about crypto so they fall prey to crypto influencers. It would be better to practice yourself to avoid frauds. Investors are victims of this fraud by creating various fraud traps in crypto so if you practice the market yourself it will be easy to recognize the bad projects. Advertisements do not always provide accurate information. Fake projects try to make them look good. Their main purpose is to make money.

Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.
Many influencers are paid to promote project which the project can be good or bad project,  listening to influencers doesn't mean all what they have said should be taking, first thing that needs to be done after listening to them is to weigh their content if it is worth it.
Many people have made so many mistakes about investment just listening to influencers who are promoting poor project for people to invest in, it is not every influencers in the social media that needs to be taking serious.
Exactly, also they always make themselves look rich with rented cars and houses. Young and not-too-smart people tend to believe it.
But still, we should be wise about it, it's not all the influencers who are introducing the products that are fake, some would even make you rich if you did it at times. You can't possibly know if a product/project being influenced by them is good or bad unless you do your own research. I shipped in this advice because I am regretting many of my actions of late when it comes to investments in cryptocurrency. The phobia of not trusting the influencers cost me that, I was too wise in my own counsel. If I had followed what I read from the influencers in the past 8 months to date, I believe that I would have made over x100 of my capital by now. This is not by investing it in a single project but by investing it in multiple ones, but it will be in a situation whereby I will be moving the funds from one project to the other over time.

Some projects singlehanded moved over x25, it could be crazy like that and this has taught me a bitter lesson that the more your risk, the more your money, and the more you believe that everything is a fake, the lesser you see and the more you painfully miss out, just as I feel now. Despite this though, you have to do your own research too as most of the influencing projects are also "nothing to write home about."

Crypto influencers can provide valuable information and insight, but they are not financial advisors. I think not all influencers are trustworthy sources of information. It's always a good idea to verify and cross-reference information provided by influencers, especially when it comes to something as complex as cryptocurrency. A close elder brother of mine he used to follow a crypto related youtuber, he had a lot of tokens, they were overpriced. But he kept the tokens as per his YouTuber's instructions hoping to gain more value but after a few days it became valueless. So I think looking for different perspectives and sources of information rather than just relying on a single influencer or source.
usually its like that, a good source of information but just never abide by their advice because god know what they truly aiming for, maybe they are paid to shill just so some people can have some exit liquidity and such thing occurred way too many times behind the scene, therefore don't follow influencers advice even those signal groups are also not an exception they basically have the same problem of getting paid to shill and for other people to have exit liquidity.
the wisest action to have is to analyse thoroughly what these youtubers are saying by our own, then we might know some strange thing and know not to follow these advice.
its always a bad thing following other random people advice anyway, you just not gonna earn money from that after all the one giving advice also so eager to make money so thats that.

Here is the general process.  For these fringe projects, if you arent in the "in" group than you are just pumping their bags by buying.  Fully agree here don't be fooled into buying these empty promises only to full someone else's bag.  Do your own research.  Start with bitcoin and go from there.

Influencers now are just like those Shitcoin shillers , they are being paid to make projects looks great but in the end scammers lol

Never that I trust any of them from crypto influencers to Gambling influencers(in which the most popular nowadays)
instead I trust only my own digging to find which project or coins to invest and risk my money, or much better to seek answers in this forum that letting myself being fooled by them.
Indeed this forum will not allow you to scam, or the chances of this will be minimal, unlike Twitter or YouTube. But unfortunately the forum is not very popular, unlike other sites. You are right to try to do research on your own.

I always watch any videos from Crypto Influencers. But, i never follow them to buy any token in their content.
I only understand their good and discard bad information.

I think that we should constantly watch videos of influencers because they provide certain good information which we never know before but its upto a person that whether he is following it or not but analysing information from different influencers is necessary. Although there are some fake individuals who are earning money through their YouTube channels but they are not real influencers therefore looking into their channel and information regarding them will help you to follow their advice.

Crypto influencers who are providing information regarding tokens through youtube are not asking for money therefore we can watch these videos without paying them so there is no issue as it totally depends on us to just listen to their words or are performing according to them. Sometimes we need information but we don't have any fellow who can guide us so influencers shows as a good fellow because most of the things are unknown to us but we seek from them.

so many people have fall victims of influencers promoting crypto they know little or nothing about and they just invest into it because are being promoted by their favourite celebrity.

I think we need to understand the difference between being an ambassador of something and actually sharing knowledge from a personal point of view. A lot of people have accumulated shit coin because of the hype by the person that did the promotion.

This is something everyone should be able to notice by default. Most times the title and even the image of the video will show that it’s not their real opinion but that they are probably paid to post it. All those 1000x claims are crap because if they know that much, what are they waiting for? Why not invest all their life savings in it? So the next year they’ll drive a Lamborghini? Well, don’t make your crypto investments decision just because “he said” “she said”
Lamborghini my foot, I can't even think of it, how would someone tells me that I will get to be gifted a Lamborghini in a crypto-related investment? I can't be that foolish to that extent and I don't know why people would, especially as things are these days where you are seeing crypto projects spring forth like mushrooms everywhere. It's better we stick to a very-informed style and be smart, there are ways that things should be done when it comes to cryptocurrency and even if we see the hype, why not do the necessary research that will help you come to the right conclusion about the truth?

Besides, I love the concluding part of your post, you don't because someone says a thing you just believe it, not even your parent when you are an adult, you get to do your bit on your part and get convinced of it before committing your money and yourself. That is wisdom as far as I know. Like we always tell people "Do your own research" (DYOR). No one can be wrong with this after all, and above all, we should be cautious when it has to do with money because not everything we see is like the way we see it in this dubious world.
Not gifted, in fact, I was only using that as an example. Normally, they’ll tell you that you’ll be able to afford certain things and they would even list some, probably. I say probably because all of them have their different strategy to  convince people into clicking their link or investing for the project they propose. I understand that you’ve come a long way to be fooled by some YouTuber, but don’t forget that people fall on YouTube to learn and get knowledge? So this conversation isn’t about us who know… it’s for those who haven’t joined crypto enough to know that YouTubers are paid.

With this coming halving and bull run of Bitcoin next year, it is certain that there will be a lot of crypto influencers who are starting to pretend to be experts in Bitcoin, but they are not. Even the crypto influencers who have lasted until now are just hyped to their viewers and followers.

So it is still better that we ourselves conduct research on the things we want to know about the crypto business in which we live. You can watch, but don't immediately believe what they say in the video.
I'm not move by the market, rather I'm keen on multiplying my portfolio in the system. Crypto Influencers are only after putting money in their personal accounts and pockets. These days the present crypto influencers doesn't hold or do findings on much information about a project before promoting it, rather they stick to the profits to be earned from the project and ensure they're one step on accumulating gigantic profits from the market and the project. So it's advisable to always create out time to scout the market for promising projects and ensure to invest in legit entries, more like early investment.

these ‘crypto influencers’ are mostly all grifters, absolute bullshitters pushing shitcoins on poor, gullible dreamers. Do your own research & don’t fall for their snake oil. There are loads of these scumbags, Ben Armstrong is one of the worst aka BitBoy. You have the likes of Crypto BitLord who is a total scammer. It’s a shame because most of these guys started early in Bitcoin but through greed got sucked into shilling scammy altcoins to their gullible followers.
I heard that name Bitboy before and actually attempt to do one of his giveaway, but after reading the comments on that post, I change my mind. You are right that he is not trusted now. Same goes to many other influencers. Money truly changes the attitude of a person. It only sucks that even their reputations are already destroyed, they still can get a promotion and then there are still people who blindly believe on them.

I salute those pioneers who didn't go on the same path. They are already contented on what they are earning through their antique cryptos as that was still a huge amount. And they are at peace because they don't do harm to others.
They won't be called influencers if they can't influence their viewers. Just like what happened to you, you almost tried to do one of his giveaways. Influencers will do anything and say anything good to get more people attracted to what they promote. That's where they get their money from.
