In the past i posted about the direction the steem is going. Today is the correction of the price and it will not be long before it jump back up once more. I think within this week we will be going into a steady pricing of the steem which is a good thing for everyone who is involved in the steem. When crytocurrency or any stock market jumps up or down quick in the market it is hard to tell the next moves. The steadiness will be a good sign of the directions that the steem is going. A lot of individuals everyday are opening accounts it will boost up the overall value of steem. Place such as steemit is a good way to show off your talents, art or any activity that an individual might have however might not have the platform to show those to the public. Along with showing to public those individuals talents he/she can also make some currency without having to have 500 thousand or more follower on websites such as youtube. Steemit is very important because it would help to transfer value and wealth from richer countries to poor countries who might have ambition but no opportunities in making the dreams into a reality. I see a lot of potential in such innovative social media crytochain since it will help people to make the dreams possible without having to have 500 thousand followers or more like I've mentioned earlier. If you new to the community i wish you luck and making those dreams into a reality. @smarthamster72

do you know of a good place to solicit your own posts a bit?

You could try talking people into reading your post in steemit chat.

Or, you can promote your post using Steem Dollars(SBD) . All you need to do is to buy some Steem or Steem Dollars through your Steemit account and use them for promoting your post!

Why isn't Steem in the first 20 places in your opinion? It's istant feeless and stable in years. Great use case too. What's wrong with investors then?

When steem SMT is released you will see the power of steem. Unlike ethereum, even if you have the tokens you need to pay gas to transact with them. This makes it very cumbersome for the token owner to use the tokens for transactions.

With steem, there is no fee when transferring the tokens. Not to mention the speed of the execution is faster / almost instant compared to ethereum. This makes it easy to use the tokens that were issued in steem.

The only disadvantage i see in steem now is that it is very hard to create an account in steem. unlike other coins where you just download and open a wallet, with steem you have to apply and wait to be approved. It also costs steem to create a new account. This to be me is the biggest barrier for mass adoption in steem.

If we can fix this somehow, steem can easily go to moon.

If you appreciate my analysis, please give me some merit. Thanks.
Your analysis is 100% accurate. This is what Steemit is. Also I think if curation can be tweaked a bit to help new authors with good quality articles, then it would be great. Most new Steemians who write excellent quality articles don't get the visibility they deserve. When you get just $0.01-$0.1 for a highly detailed and useful article, then that demotivates you. I have come out of that phase, but I have seen many Steemians still struggling there. If all the whales and dolphins contributed some time finding quality articles, then Steemit can easily replace Medium and Reddit!!

P.S. I have given you a merit just because your post was of high quality and very accurate. But I think you don't need to request for merits. That kinda pulls back the hands of merit donors.

Thanks for appreciating my article.  I am actually think steem could easily be 10 billion $ marketcap.  If facebook is 550 billion $ marketcap, 2% of facebook is already more than 10b$.

Wow, this is indeed a big news. Finally it is getting the attention and appreciation it deserves. With all the good changes which Steemit has brought into lives of so many people, especially people in third world; it deserves much more value.

Hi! if someone can help me..
I bought some STEEM but when i tried to withdraw to some "official" Steem place i get confuse it, how many different Steem coin are? how can i get my wallet?

thank you.
Have you made a steemit account yet? If yes, then the Steemit username itself is the Steem address and Steemit platform is the wallet. As for how many Steem coins are there, then the answer is 3, out of which 2 are tradable on exchanges (Steem and Steem backed dollar/SBD) and the third one is only available on Steemit platform, known as Steem Power. It is basically Steem staked in Steemit. Hope this helps you.

Steem $10+this year

This is very likely, because for me it`s a facebook-reddit-hybrid.

Steem got a "B-" in the new Weiss ratings. See

According to Weiss Ratings, bitcoin scores a C+ (“fair”) while ethereum earns a B (“good”), and steem a B-. That’s right: steem scores higher than bitcoin. No cryptocurrency earns the highest possible rating of an A. In a report issued today, the company explained: “A grade of A or B can also be interpreted as the investment rating equivalent of  “buy.” At the same time, investors should not be overly alarmed by a C rating.” Electing not to invoke crypto’s most famous meme, they continued: “It is a passing grade, and for investors, implies the equivalent of ‘hold.'” Grades of D and E, are the equivalent of a sell, with the release citing crypto minnows Novacoin and Salus as examples of a D.
Steem price experienced a 50 percent rally after market research firm Weiss Ratings assigned Steem a B- grade, making it one of only five cryptocurrencies to achieve a rating higher than a C+ and ranking it ahead of Bitcoin.  Smiley

Steem, the blockchain-based social media platform co-founded by serial entrepreneur Dan Larimer, had a relatively quiet 2017. Like most cryptocurrencies, Steem experienced significant appreciation throughout the year, but it largely lagged the market index during the fourth quarter — until December, that is.

During the final month of the year, the Steem price exploded, leaping from $1 on Dec. 1 to a new all-time high of $7.31 on Jan. 3, fueled largely by heavy trading volume in South Korea. The rally was as unsustainable as it was inexplicable, and by Jan. 17 the Steem price had declined to $2.89.

This week, however, the Steem price made a renewed push, and on Thursday it rose 50 percent in just 24 hours to reach $6.51 on Bittrex, which provides the token with a $1.6 billion market cap.
