There are more than 48,000 on the waiting list atm. That will indeed take weeks before you get credited if they are screening each account one by one.

Current stats: https://www.stellar.org/stats/

yeah , that is amazing .... 48'000 wallet  in less 2 days xd

I've been ignoring the Stellar thing as another alt coin bullshitcoin. Is this really something? can anyone sum it what the fuzz is all about? I dont stop seeing Stellar this Stellar that lately.
You get around 10$ free just for singing up an account with facebook and email confirmation

Really? This means $100 with 10 fb accounts?
And how long does it takes for the stellar to credit?

its not that simple , fb acc must be already verify with phone number ,have some pics and friends there
and maybe at least 1 month old acc can be accepted that giveaways.
and now they hold some giveaways to reduce the fake fb acc.
you only got 900 stellar first and 3500 in 1-2 weeks ahead.
and yesterday they hold all new registration , it means your 900 will not instant give when you sign up there.

Keeps decreasing the free distribution amount, its hardly fair. Its not as if they are running out of Stellars, they are holding onto most of them anyway.

Seems the initial relatively higher giveaways were just to hype it up.

It was a 99.7% premine days ago and I think it's now 99.6% as they've given out 400 million now.

The issue here is if you keep only giving out $10 (or less), and the capitalization continues going up & up, you eventually reach a plateau as the amount given out decreases (eventually down to 5-10 stellar per signup) and thus they'll be sitting on that premine forever.

yes , what you say is correct Wink .

Price HAD to go down, as at least 50% of people who got it, sold it in almost notime.
That's temporary crash of value.
But it's a good thing to stop giving it free, so price can stabilize and move up again.
I doubt they will ever reward anyone for that amounts of stellar's, as they had an example of "how to self destruct".

The giveaway is constantly decreasing the stellars gained through the registration, but if the price will be lower in the future the reward will be increased again?

Good question, I would like an answer to this too.

If the price goes down in the future, will the reward will be increased again?

Okay, you no longer receive Stellar when signing up. You have to wait a day to a week it seems to get all your initial free STR. Friend didn't receive a thing and he signed up this morning. Still in line.

i registered 3 days ago but no sign of waiting the 3500 coins..
the
http://gyazo.com/7a4574841c4174b8f128abd42687f8da

only crossed out the "you connected your facebook" ... but the other had like you are on the waiting list ....

it means i iwill not receive anything?

Welcome to the club, first they promised we get paid the rest in two days, then it changed to three days, now it's changed to a week. It wouldn't surprise me if they changed it to two weeks after we have been waiting for a week.
are we the same? no word like " you are on the waiting list?"

I got "you are on the waiting list" too.

I too wait from 5 days for my 3500 Stellars.......

Any one have any information about it?

Think I just read that a couple days ago they decided to stop sending them until a new distribution system launches. WHen they launch it, it will be dispersed in seperate payments over a week.

The growth of stellar have made the price of BTC in my national currency become unstable and not reasonable anymore. People sell their BTC from stellar as soon as they have a few.
