1. i dont love democracy, never did.
2. bitcoin has nothing to do with democracy, never did. it has to do with capitalism
3. capitalism also sucks but it gives you much more freedom than democracy. if you can afford it.
and 4. i dont care how we name the system. true power is by definition never in the hands of the people.

Democracy can mean many things to many people. Heck, even some dictatorial regimes prefer to call their system to be democratic while at the same time they are using the state power to suppress people and to spread lies just to create fear.

In my idea, democracy means that the government is coming from the people, for the people and by the people. The power emanates from the voters and that power should be used for the greater good of the people.

However, there are some people who prefer someone to lord over them as long as that ruler can provide them all the basic stuffs they need. They don't care if they don't have the freedom others are enjoying as long they have something to eat everyday.

As for me, I still love democracy and I hate it if someone would be curtailing my Bitcoin freedom lol.

I think you're implying something from US's constitution. And as such - do you really think Americans are free? They like to say that they're living the dream. It's a dream all right.

I lived in communist regime, also had experience of war and now I live in democracy.
Yes, I agree that democracy is not perfect but can you show me any better political system today in the world?
Socialism? Communism?
Are you crazy?
There is no real freedom in such societies.
If we want to live in the better world we have to change our society.
If we want to change society we have to change our community.
If we want to change our community, we have to start from our families and ourselves.
It'a simple, really.
I don't love democracy but I love potential of democratic society.

Because of people being too abusive about their rights, there are times that I don't like the democracy we are having. The problem is some people just don't know the boundary of of their rights and tend to do more that results to bad effects on society and the bitcoin and cryptocurrency community as well. This is why there should be discipline.

It is true that democracy has been abused by people for a lot of time, particularly when they don't know the boundary between rights and being too pushy. Still, we have to appreciate democracy by means of people who are productive because of it and not the people who are pain in a country because of it. I still love democracy.

Well, to me it seems that most of the countries which claim to be democratic are run by corporate interests nowadays. I like the idea of democracy but I'm not sure if it's being implemented anywhere right now.
I agree with you. Most of us like democracy because it works for the upliftment of the people but it is sad that now-a-days politicians has completely changed its meaning. They are more interested in making their living luxurious , defaming other religions and implementing baseless policies.

if we look at the meaning of the word democracy, it becomes obvious that it doesn't exist in our world...some countries call so their regime to convince people of this, but in reality it isn't so

the real meaning of democracy is the people governs themselves by their representatives in the parliament, and founding some organisms to rule in the name of the majority and keep respecting the minorities by including the freedom of speech and give everyone his personal freedom and privacy, but only where the law is above everybody.
a government who doesn't respect the choice of their people is just a dictatorship forcing people to live under the fear of being silenced forever.. and uses some propaganda to keep the image clear as if they are a democratic country.
democracy is almost a horrible lie now days.

Democracy is just a myth, that which says that majority is always right.
But, as the majority of people are idiots, I don't see any sense.

democrazy do not exist . in capitalist wolrd

Does it in any other? In a socialist or communist world there's no place for it either. What about dictatorship? I guess it's not there as well. Wink

I like democracy but a clean democracy, unfortunately in this world hard to find a country with a pure democratic government.

Because it's an unsustainable system as long as there's money involved. People will always sell their support for material things and there will always be those who are rich and are willing to buy it. Do you really think Trump came to power because he was an exceptional politician and leader? He came to power because he had money, just like the Bushes and Clintons before him.

Now basically democracy is just talk, dust in the eyes,as people used to gather in the square and solved the problem, this is not even to take the election, then no matter how you voted, everyone already knows who will be President, even if you, your friends and relatives didn't vote for him.
