Buy low and sell high when the market is bullish and pulled out completely out of the market when it's bearish. When the market is bearish some traders manages to take 5-6% profit.
I do both, I have my share of coins that I plan to hold for at least one year and I also trade almost everyday, but if you want to trade then you should be ready to lose some money if you never do it before as it's not easy to do, I suggest learning the basic first at least until you can identify support and resistance level so you know the target price when you trade something.

The only strategy for the bitcoin investment is that you need to be very patience and wise and should be very accurate that when to buy and then hold and then when to sell your coin, as I told earlier also that patience is the only key to success as one needs to keep in mind that bitcoin is a volatile crypto currency and thus its valuation keeps on flactuation and varies according to market demand and supply, of the valuation was sky high in the last December month and then started deflating in the beginning of this year so it doesn’t mean that bitcoin would collapse and one should sell his coin in panic, as have patience and hold your coin till the next pump. Long-time holders will always win compare to day-trading. To do that you need to choose proper portfolio and have steel nerves.

There are plenty of tips, but the best thing to do is try it for yourself with small amounts. I would also advise to use a big exchange with high volume coins, that way you avoid coins with a big gap between lowest sell and highest buy orders. Another sensible strategy is to have your ideal exit point set before you start, and then stick to it. It might seem counterintuitive, but it is often best to sell when a coin is rising rather than when it is falling.
Day trading is my best advice for you if you really want to double your portfolio. The market is all about fall and rise and side way trend. Knowing how to enter and exist the market is your major goal.to be successful you learn risk management . That is how many percentage of your portfolio are you ready to loose to gain more altcoin if the market turns the other way round. The strategy on this market now a day are holding and daily trading.Holding if you think that day your are losing and if you think you are gaining profit then sell it.I think on this strategy we must be successful.

learning on youtube is an infinite treasure, knowledge has so many people sharing, so i think the learning on it is very good, i also learn from youtube on and i found them to be the most ok place in The places I have studied and researched.

Daily trading can bring profit, so at least I can get a small daily profit but it can be a routine, but this is not easy, always requires analytical techniques so as not to get stuck at a loss.
for me I'll buy potential coins with low prices and hold. wait for market increase. and I'm going to sell you my holdings. is a good thing to do in that marketplace, to no worth of coins. Just keep the tokens and coins you have.
