You are not in everyone's heart to detect what they takes gambling as maybe and most likely for the men who often engages themselves with such activity may see it as an occupation that would be possibly generating income for them, this is only if they are very good at it. Sometimes I often see people gamble for entertainment yet we also have those who don't gamble responsibly due to desperation wanting to become rich by all means, though there are people who are good at it whereby they often make winning and turns it to be their major source of income.
This is like an extended topic of discussion about gambling being a source of income. While we all know that professional gamblers' source of major income is gambling. Many are just doing it part-time and even for fun. We can't just defeat our own thinking on this matter because we all know that we can't be like those professional gamblers. It took them a lot of time, sweat and blood to become one and people think that it's easy to be on that state but I am sure that it's not easier as what we think.
I am surprised how this topic recieved much attention as upto 4 pages for only today. While I read the OP from top to down I do not see any exciting points or clear definition of option and hence I began to search through the comments to see why the discussion ran so fast.

Gambling is an activity that is meant to be fun to begin with. The adrenaline that kicks in whenever you are put in a situation where your resources are at stake is definitely gut wrenching but it feels very satisfying to win the match. This kind of adrenaline is sometimes the thing that most people aim for- and profit is only secondary in nature.

I never intended to be a professional gambler nor reach the pinnacle of VIP rank. I only gamble to entertain myself and I cannot deny that with that entertainment is the hope to win huge but regardless, whatever the outcome of my session is I make sure that I accept it without any remorse.

Homeless is the major way for people to think more about self-control. For those people who have nothing but only debt, there is no hope anyway.
As long as a person live, there is always hope since he can still work it out to make things better. But of course it would be difficult with only debt in hand, the person starts with negative statistics but I believe with discipline and perseverance to earn money to pay for his debt, he will eventually recover.

If you ask me, gambling is never been a source of income for me, it can never be for anyone. The main reason for this is that the experience does not count in gambling. No matter you are gambling first time or the 100th time, the chances and probabilities of winnings will be same and it all comes down to the luck.
