I'm not a fan of the Krill requirement for chat, but I can also understand needing to take steps to curb certain speech people feel should be protected everywhere even on a private companies discussion board.

not only did they spend years not moderating anything and cultivating a culture where you could say anything in chat, but they built a goddamn troll box into the site. Cheesy

needless to say, they shouldn't be surprised they are now alienating regulars with this policy. not to mention noobs who are de facto banned from chatting at tables.

i'd be curious to know if it's affecting their bottom line. traffic has not been stellar as of late, and i've seen multiple people threaten to leave over it, between the chat, 2+2, and here.

i have no experience with higherhighs, but i've heard enough to conclude he is a problem.....

He is sitting at tables, blocking seats and threatens people "I will get your chat muted" . Feeling like a boss.
I've run into HH a few times here and there tournaments mostly but a few cash games as well. Can't way I've had any issues with them. Hell I even poked the bar a few times when this all started, by making jokes about getting banned at our table chat. They took it in stride.
On that note though grab a screenshot of these threats, or report it at the time. If it's an invalid warning/threat then SWC has something concrete to look at; this has been lacking from all accusations I've seen against HH.

I don't consider it blocking seats if they are at the table with chips to play. If you just mean the table is full and they are there, and you feel you should be able to take their seat, just go open another table and wait for action and/or wait on the list.

I'm not a fan of the Krill requirement for chat, but I can also understand needing to take steps to curb certain speech people feel should be protected everywhere even on a private companies discussion board. People should consider there are worse alternatives to this that would involve account verification and such so that bans could stick.

Playing at SWC is a lot of fun when some random wannabe (higherhighs) , a "helper" for swc, controlling the chat, joins the table, sucks out in the very first hand and then even talks bs about getting somebodies chat banned if you dont follow HIS rules. Just saw him talking back to some other player at my table, this guy is something else.

Its good to know swc "employees" also play and get lucky at the table, 1 more account to avoid.

No wonder more and more people leave this site.

Higherhighs is not a site employee but has been voluntarily assisting us in the short term by reporting chat that violates the rules stated on our website. Reports from higherhighs, or any other player, will be looked at by the team with the ultimate decisions and actions made by management. Chat moderators and a tournament director will be announced soon and will be present in chat and identified as SwC employees.

If you are curious about the reason for a chat mute that you have received, feel that you received a chat mute in error, would like to report chat that you feel violates the rules, or want to give feedback on this issue we invite you to email support.

I love playing poker and I am pretty exciting knowing that there is a platform that accepts bitcoin. I have visited your house rules and I
have a little questions to ask as it is very important for me as a poker player for many years already.

Unlike land base poker, we can assure that there is no bot in the table and the dealer is fair. And you have you have said that bots are prohibited.
may I know how you can assure that there will be no bot that can bypass your platform? I am only raising this question to satisfy my doubts and for me
to start playing your platform right away.

Correct. Bots are prohibited and there are measures in place, although we are unable to share details publicly. Players found to be using a bot or breaking any rule regarding game integrity are subject to actions at management's discretion; including account closure and the loss of funds. If you feel that a bot is playing or observe any activity that you believe should be looked at by security please do not hesitate to email support and the team will investigate.

Higherhighs is definitely a weird hire, given that he is all but confirmed cheating at their OFCp tables. I wonder if the SWC team thinks he helped or hindered the site.

I haven't cashed out everything, sometimes there are some mega fish you can take advantage of, but my action there went from 80% to like 10%. Kinda sad, I liked earning BTC directly. But oh well..

Cashgame action has been way, WAY down in the last few weeks, and that's with record hitting BBJ. Guess it's a mix of people playing the series, BTC getting more experience and people just leaving for better sites, but it's noticable.
