It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

^ I hope by filters you mean the browser play version. It's badly needed imo. And I actually enjoy playing with the browser since I don't plan to use PT or HEM or whatever. I just wanna have real fun.

Any of these in planning or about to be implemented? Thanks. The team gave answers to some of your questions: * Filters will get an update next software version, early April is best target date. * Mid row OFC color will be in next update * Triple stud will be added soon * Tournament action requests and announcements from our SwC_Bot in chat will be live soon. is March BIG BTC Ticket, but the tournament starts on April 2. We will fix this in the game. The satellite will award an April BIG BTC ticket. Some features that I would (still) like to see: Thank you for the feedback SkyReVo. We have sent your post to the product team for response. March 26, 2019, 06:22:36 AM
The most common complaint about SwC is that we don't have enough players. There is another site, which I shall not name here, with a wider variety of mix games and structures that is stealing your market share. Please tell your friends about SwC, word of mouth advertising is the best form of marketing for SwC. We are increasing our affiliate outreach and traditional marketing efforts to help bring in new players to the Bitcoin 3.0 platform. Do you have any plans to add more mix games to the lineup? Games like Archie, Dramaha hi/2-7, double board Omaha, super/pineapple stud hi/hi-lo, etc. Adding games like this would help to gain back some of those players that left for other sites that do offer them, while also enticing new members who play mix games and don't want to deal with the "affiliate model" on other site (i.e. difficult cash in/out process compared to SwC). Hi I think that swcpoker and kings have some overlap, but not much. It’s mostly $30/60 mix games (bc the highest stake available) and it’s almost entirely US live mix players who are used to playing the Vegas/LA type mix games that include the aforementioned games - and swcpoker is a more traditional global site that offers some of those games (and at lower rake like u said), but the global online pool that swcpoker consists of wont play those variants. But that’s not to say that bringing kings players to swcpoker is a bad idea. It’s a smart move for mix players to play both sites - whether they’re 8/16 or 30/60+ players. I don’t think a lot of kings players know about swcpoker 3.0 yet and/or aren’t familiar w using BTC, since they’re mostly live players. Spreading the word to those players and trying to get them acclimated to using BTC would be a good thing. I think of Big O, short deck, and 11g as the formats where swcpoker has pushed the envelope beyond the standard NL/PLO games - and that’s provided a solid offering of non-traditional games, so I think the site would benefit from those players coming over to swcpoker, but by spreading the word to them and not yet offering games that very few people play. They’re enjoyable, so at some point I could see adding the circus games to swcpoker could make sense, not quite yet imho March 26, 2019, 05:08:42 AM
~ We are working on a better system for chat moderation. Internal discussion about >1 krill to chat has found mostly favorable comments. I absolutely support this. I was thinking about 10+ Krill, but 1+ Krill is even better. Thus people will be able to chat from their very first day on the site after wagering some amount which is not that big, but, at the same time, not small enough for spammers to be able to create new accounts any time they want. Now I have another question about tournament schedule. The prize for this tournament is March BIG BTC Ticket, but the tournament starts on April 2. March 26, 2019, 04:28:09 AM
Some features that I would (still) like to see:
- a new ACTIVE tab (keep ALL) where you only see games that are actually running (so filtered to players >=2). Right now new players are greeted with this: and it's not exactly elegant. Alternative, give us back more filter options, but this would fix it. - make these: multiple choice please. First of all, 25/50 FL plays much lower than 25/50 NL so it should be in micro. And I'm a little annoyed that I keep missing 200p OFCp games bc I filter to "Low". - When I go to all and rank by # players, results come up all weird: The top rows make sense but then it's 25/50 to 5k/10k and back. Instead, please make the last order I picked second priority. So for example, if I click "Stakes" first, then "Plrs", make it sort for #Players first and Stakes second. ________________________________ All these would help clean up lobby for people without scrapping games. Smaller changes I'd really love to see: - Please make the mid row of OFCp 2-7 a slightly different hue. I can't tell you how many chips I've lost because I laid a low hand in mid and found out someone sat me in progressive instead. My current solution looks like this: but the recolor resets every time. - I would love to add triple stud to the games I seed. Any chance you can add that back in? I remember from 2.0 that it ran occasionally (I think they were named after grains?) - Find a way to request action for tournaments please. They need it a lot more than CG. - Add a "If I fall under initial buy-in" option here, it's what most people use on other sites in my experience: - Hotkeys do not work with mouse inputs. Would love to fold with right-click and go all-in with mouse wheel-click. As it is now I've been remapping these things using AutoHotkey. - "Display Chip Amounts at Table in BB" is severely bugged in MTTs. - You can en- and disable the Run It Twice option mid hand and it has lead to confusion. Better to lock this up after action has finished (two or more people are all-in) Any of these in planning or about to be implemented? Thanks. March 25, 2019, 11:32:06 PM
We have begun to roll out our Twitch presence
https://www.twitch.tv/swcpokertv/ The SwC channel "auto-hosts" the channels on this list, with priority from top to bottom: Soon we will syndicate our Twitch channel on our website and through the clients. If you are streaming SwC and want to be on the auto-host list, please campaign for it in the lobby chat. March 25, 2019, 04:49:40 PM
anyone know what happened to the Telegram chat? We ended the Telegram chat. Players can email us or use the in-game chat to reach us or get a question answered. The Telegram channel quickly became a hotbed for scammers, it's not worth our attention at this time. We are working on a better system for chat moderation. I think it is just an incentive, I mean it is not that much and it doesn't change that much, just incentive to do something better.
On top of that I feel like SwC chat is one of the most helpful chats in history of bitcoin gambling, you can have a problem and you can ask there and not only will the support will help but also people who are there who know the answer will help you as well, I have always gotten super fast help, its like voluntary support in there which is why I feel like giving them back is just at least what SwC can do for it. 50 Krill is not that big neither so it shouldn't really change too much. Look at any other chat like stake and all that and they have similar sort of thing as well, why should SwC be any different from them? I dig it, I think it's cool. March 25, 2019, 08:26:09 AM
What SWC really needs in my opinion is a "streamlining" of available stakes. The team was researching this recently, running queries to see what tables have never been played in 3.0 history. We may do some cleanup soon. Remember players can email support to request a cash table they don't see in the lobby. Since you're gonna do that any way, I suggest getting rid of all the 5 card PLO games and just sticking to regular 4 card PLO. It's gonna benefit the player learning it in the long run. IMHO. A lot of 5c Omaha has been running both 25/50 (I seed that a lot) and 100/200+. More than normal PLO even. So I strongly disagree with this. Sure it's good for the site but what about for the players? If he goes to a live game or to another site he'll be playing 4 card PLO which essentially is a different game than they're used to. What really one of SWC's goals (long term) should be is to nurture players to be competitive enough to play on larger stage like the WSOP and be represented in it. And 4 card PLO sure is more popular than 5 card PLO. And it's also good long term for the site's economy too... The fish get broke less easier in 4 card than 5 card. March 25, 2019, 07:39:22 AM
having the chat option be relevant to Krill amount is NOT going to bring traffic here... really dumb move IMO (even if the chat is full of spam) It makes it a big boys club, when the traffic certainly doesn't warrant it 50 krill is not exactly "big boy club" and it prevents people from constantly making new accounts and spamming chat after being banned. Really really good move! Although it was frustrating at first that I couldn't say hi to people, I agree with you, something has to be done for preventing people from spamming. Only I think that 10 Krill threshold would be enough for that purpose. But let's leave it to the site owners to decide on that. Unfortunately I quickly lost in the yesterday's Big BTC Satellite , and now I'm looking forward to participating in the next one. But I'm not sure whether another 95.00 + 5.00 tournament is going to happen because I've noticed a strange thing in the tournaments' schedule: I mean, how can a satellite start a half an hour later than the tournament? Just stopping by to remind that today we are having a great opportunity to win a ticket to The Big BTC! tournament that will take place on Marh 31.
The ticket in question is worth 0.01 BTC so, considering the 0.0001 buy-in, it's a good deal. I took the second place one week ago (check out my description of the game earlier in this thread), and I'm going to try my luck today again. Good luck to all the participants! March 24, 2019, 05:38:09 AM
Not a cash table suggestion, but a bad beat jackpot suggestion:
I've seen at some casinos in the past the 72o Bad Beat Jackpot. It would be nice to have one on Swc. How it would work (as I see it): 1% of rake goes into jackpot If 72o wins against trips or better, winner and loser split the jackpot ( 40%-40% or something similar, didn't calculate odds) rest 20% seeds the next jackpot. This jackpot would be hit faster than actual jackpot, I think. Jump to:
