Can everyone in this thread just lay off the personal attacks. It's easy in the weird and wonderful cyber world to forget that the people you are talking to and about are human beings. How would you feel if you had to read all these posts looking for someone saying something horrible about your personal life?

We all want our miners as soon as possible. The doubt over the delivery date causes us all stress, because this is serious money that most of us probably need flowing into our wallets. But let's just leave off the personal nature of some of these attacks.

Dude, do you even think before posting?  Did you attack me or did I attack you this morning?

Answer :  you started attacking me.

Hi need help with a very stupid thing ...worker

anyone try changing it ?
Usually a worker is denoted with an underscore in the login name field.. so it would be "Madazam_worker1", "Madazam_worker2", and so on. It depends on what the worker is named, though. It could be "Madazam_w1"

Sometimes, as with Slush's pool it's denoted with a period.. so "Madazam.worker1"

it's about attacking ppl.  who initiates that around here?  answer: you.

have i ever started attacking you out of the blue in an unprovoked manner?  no.  did i start out by attacking erdouchen?  no.  you guys come in here and other places and attack ppl's integrity for no reason.

the only one i've been asking questions of is Rama.  and in my last post this morning i said i was sorry for him.  i think he's being used by KNC if he indeed hasn't been or isn't going to be paid.

Cypherdoc, you are spamming this thread with nothing useful. Everybody here wants information about KNC hardware and its delivery status.

You attack Bitcoinorama relentlessly and have your own thread for that purpose that you have the freedom of:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3331277

Stop attention-seeking and return there. Or go and write a newsletter, or something.

i did not attack him this morning.  i only asked him to clarify his status with KNC.  which revealed the following facts:

1.  he has not been paid and apparently there is no promise to be paid or even employed.
2.  his trip to Sweden will be paid by KNC.
3.  non-employed Rama is being used to help assemble, package, ship, and promote/provide communications for the company.

all useful and accurate info which is why Rama is not in here fighting me tooth and nail.  cue Hempstock, donch and erdouchen attacks.

as i said, i actually feel sorry for him and think he's being used.

all that being said, you're right about wasting my time in here.

Don't feel too sorry, I don't think anyone has the true picture.

But let me add one more thing, Columbo style:

I haven’t been paid, I haven’t yet signed any contract, and as of right now I’ve checked out of the hotel, to move into an apt, which is notoriously hard to acquire in Stockholm, to basically be let down last min by a flakey landlord that apparently had a major life crisis to deal with at the exact moment I show up, despite telling me anything but over the phone the night before.

Tell me, why would someone who is still *deliberating* on whether to take a job or not, move out of a hotel into an apartment? How could someone move to Stockholm with no job offer, no income and decide looking for an apartment is the thing to do?

If KNC are happy to pay for a hotel to allow him to make up his mind, why move? He makes it sound like he is the selector, playing hard to get and he decides if KNC employs him or not, which is a bit laughable. Typical of the way he bigs himself up at any opportunity.

Moving out of a hotel and into an apartment sounds like what someone who has been offered a job or has recently started working for a company would do.

And how come Bitcoinorama is so tired if he's just hanging round and observing? Sounds more like someone dog tired from working. And I doubt KNC would be stupid enough to have someone working for them in a factory if they didn't employ him, because if he had an accident, they'd be up shit creek.

And how long does it take to sort the employment paperwork? Are we going back a couple of weeks here?

All this *I'm still deliberating* does not ring true to me at all, but make up your own minds.

I'm sure a day or two after last units have shipped, orama will make the big announcement that he has decided to work for KFC and pretend it happened just then. Only a few more weeks to wait to find out.

Most of us would have been much better off if KNC just sold boards and pesterd OrSoc for firmware updates.  I requested precisely that in July and repeated it regularly.  Keep the fans, the case, the glitches.  Just get me some asics & a controller board. I'll handle the cooling, assembly, & join in the troubleshooting fray.

I am pressing them for this now.  I have all the data and results to prove this is a better option for jupiter owners.
It isn't even all airflow related.  The controller seems to do better with less modules plugged into it.  This might be why their hosting idea is having issues..  I think they were planning on plugging 6 modules per controller board right?

ya... the units measure exactly 7" tall, so when you stack 3 of them, it will be 21", which is exactly how tall the boxfans are...   and I figure... removing the 6 case fans will certainly help offset the cost of running a single boxfan on low setting

you know, you can plug 4 of your ASICs into one saturn and feel the pain of a jupiter owner if you really care to keep making opinions on people who are trying to deal with our situation ..  ok?

huh?  looks like you post faster than u read.
I'm not arguing one bit with your assessment of the situation.
Seems spot-on
just wanted to be sure peeps didnt rush out to buy a BBB to cure a problem, only to find out it needed a controller board...thats all... Smiley

At this point I'd like to have at least a couple of controller boards.
edit: And BeagleBoards, but I can get those quickly and easily.

My 2centz.....
To those thinking another BBB will help their Jupiter....... WRONG
The BBB is useless without the controller board it's mounted to.

Dude why do you not understand things?  Yes the request is for a controller board to split up a jupiter into saturns and mercurys?

if you had a jupiter you could engage in this discussion. saturns and mercurys will not have the same issues

Sorry if you feel offended...you never mentioned the controller board....
so, the request would be for a BBB & controller board combo for every Jupiter, instead of waiting for firmware?... Does that sound realistic?

you really love to post without reading any of the long reports I created.   I have done tests with just 2 and 1 ASIC to my troubled jupiter and the parts Gh more then the sum when all together.

If you want to see for yourself, please put four boards into one of your saturns and run that for a day

When firmware would fix it, you just want them to produce 2x the amount, which would assuredly take much longer... So, how do I not understand things again?

by about 20 gh/s, yes, and dropped temps 10 degrees Celcius

ok, i guess thats worth it.

i am kind of cautious to let it run24/7
I stood the miner on-end & set the fan right next to it...
I've actually built a case/cabinet to house all 3 saturns... no case fans... the saturn i have now has no case fans in it, they were a restriction, lol... I'll be stacking all 3 sats one on top of eachother, screwing them together, (no case tops) and the boxfan will be a giant case fan... I'll post pics of it whenever the other two sats come

sounds interesting!
