Well let me help you out with the answer to that. it won't. I already have 15 paid orders on my Reseller link and 29 Unpaid. That's just me, people are still buying these machines and I doubt anything you will say (especially with your extensive jupiter share collection) will do anything about that.

I'm wondering how anyone can say KnC are "late" when their delivery date is weeks away still? For me they are late mid october or after then, for early orders it's late september.

Performance of CGMiner doesn't necessarily translate into more GH/s. It could be related to how hard the internal Linux controller has to work running CGMiner. This doesn't necessarily mean that it results in more GH/s from the system. Also, if it does, this may have been why it went up to 400 GH/s in the first place.
Hold the phone, I think rolling has a point there, whilst I believe we will see improvements translate to that order, I believe this particular 30% refers to software optimisation and efficiency. Whether that correlates to physical performance is yet to be seen.

KNC just have to hold out for about 3 more weeks, make sure nothing happens that causes a mass stampede for refunds. Once they ship their first unit, there is no going back - they are millionaires. Can you imagine what it is like? If Sam or anyone is a drinker, they must be hitting the bottle big-time right now to steady the nerves!
They will sell any miners left after the pre-orders are out the door. If no one wants them at that price, they'll sell them at reduced price to shift them. They've already added a clause saying that they will continue to sell through Dec, Jan etc if other companies add lots of to the hash power to the network (which is what is happening). They aren't going to hold on to equipment that will be redundant and no one wants in 4 months time.
