well so much for shipping Titans this week I guess....if ANY had been shipped this week I'm sure someone on here would have gotten notice by now?

As Neptune customers who tried to get a refund just before KNC actually had boxes in UPS trucks will recall, KNC's idea of 'starting to ship' means they replaced the ink cartridge in their label printer and have ordered the packing supplies.

Expect the minimum from KNC. Avoid disappointment.

I am thinking of buying a rubbermaid container and modifying it so I can put my Neppy, three PSU's, power cables and network cable inside then put the box outside on my balcony as I live in Canada and it tends start to must cooler this time of the year before winter hits. I wonder if anyone has done something like this and been able to figure out where to drill some holes for ventilation or if anyone has an some idea?
Check out the archived GPU-mining threads. There were posts from some Finnish guy who had his mining farm on a balcony and described how he kept the snow out and dealt with the moisture.

I imagine waiting on Titan to ship feels a bit like being a condemned man waiting for the executioner to arrive.

Scrypt-n capabilities are like the last cigarette before the guillotine falls.

Meanwhile BTC is testing 350-400 USD for the 4th time and LTC is about to test ~3.5 USD on its way to 2

All during a week when AliBaba opens at~$92 and the stock markets are at an insanely frothy all time high on the back of fiat interest rate manipulation by the Fed.

Nice summation.  I have to say they really named the Titan(nic) quite well

IIRC they wrote they will ship Titans this week. I might remember incorrectly...

me thinks they lied...with the BTC price drop they are having a heart attack(s) and much grief

I'm guessing they are still trying to get the firmware working …

Expect the worst. Avoid disappointment.

When will KNC ship Titans? Has anyone "in progress"-status yet?

I asked knc again about when to ship bonus neptune, and again I got the reply:

"At the moment we don't have the dates for shipping Neptune bonuses. Hopefully we will be able to release more information about the dates soon."

Probably next time we should not ask when, but "whether or not"......

Someone on kncminer forum is requesting that we have the source code for Titan firmware. If that goes as planned, then we as a community can work on a scrypt-n feature and may be able to see ROI. Last to scrypt, but first to scrypt-n !

Is KNC donating to charity?

They donate to kill shelters specifically.  Roll Eyes

I think by January 2015 difficulty will be 150 billion. SP30's will be selling for $100. BTC will be sub $100 and there will be thousands of Chinese killing themselves to squeeze every last penny from their dying BTC farms.

No per order for me anymore

same only exception would be www.spondoolies-tech.com they gave me a refund of 6.3k on miner hosting package on a post I made
on bitcoin talk on prob not making ROI and the sp30 not really suited for home mining (was my orig use but too noisy) they offered a
refund ..I likely could have probably ROI'd but not much more so I took it

other then that act of faith and personal relationship shown me after BFL and KNC and the rest and the fact most of their stuff is
like 6 weeks pre-order at most I think ....I would take a chance on a pre-order from them from my experiences and their offer of a
refund w/o me pestering them..just as a courtesy

but it is unlikely I will get a miner from them...or anyone for that matter ...at 15c/kwh home mining just don't work with KNC or
anyone esp if you are trying to guess a pre-order time line...so the question of a pre-order from spondoolies again will likely never
happen....so its all a moot question

anyway my 2c worth (used to have this warm fuzzy feeling for KNC er now that they went BFl er um....not so much don't ya know!)
