OK... one picture with the 3 boxes:

Are those riveted or screwed together? Any chance of popping open a case and taking a pic?

I haven't open them yet (will do tomorrow).

Looking forward to seeing a production board, I pulled down the new source for the Neptune, looking through it now.. On the surface it looks to be a fairly similar setup to the Jupiter chip so much of the same logic should apply.

Can you find the reported error "KnC: 1.1.118 Failed to setwork (7)" ??.... I do get those whole screens full...(with occasionally a "Accepted share").

By the way: one Box pulls 391 Watt at the wall (this all excluding controller-board), and can do 666 Ghs (In the 3 boxes setup) making: 391 / 666 = 0.587 W/Ghs.
But the 5 boxes setup is: 391 / 616 = 0.635 W/Ghs......

5 boxes pulling about 610GH/s a little underpowered - are those reeeely 20nm chips or underpowered 28nm Nov Jup chips. Hrmmmm. Dude, I have my doubts on this one.

Elenelen, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. Maybe ckolivas could shed some light on those setwork errors. Do you know if you're using cgminer or bfgminer?

GCminer version 4.4.0

And it's 666 Ghs for one chip (you need many more Jup-chips for the same).

These guys never cease to amaze me with their ghetto-designed products. They are such a damned joke.

Seriously, for $12k they couldn't do a better designed enclosure?  Damnable, contemptible assholes.

I'm confused, is that three boxes for one Neptune or three Neptunes pictured?  Running three off one 1600W PSU would be much better than original estimates...though you'd probably still want to separate them for overclocking.

read my previous posts, please
