Hi everybody,

We are Swedish miners that are producing our own ASIC miners to strengthen the market and avoid monopoly.
Our company kncminer is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new web shop dedicated to the online sale of Bitcoin hardware to the international community, www.kncminer.com.

A lot of scam sites are appearing every day and we are not one of them, therefore we will not take any orders and are only registering interest.

We will in the upcoming weeks opening our order book to allow the purchase of our first set of ASIC miners. They are in the early stages of development now and will be ready in the summer of 2013 (yes in just a few months)
Register an account now it’s completely free and if you subscribe to our newsletter we will alert you the moment we open the order books for entry and other information around the ASIC products.
If you have any questions we will be happy to answer them.

Happy mining

It is funny going back and reading this. Oh how things have changed.

the notifications got so annoying i actually deleted my pool monotirng app on my mobile,

It was just yesterday i emptied my btcguild account and remembered this was still going on.

Last 200 block history shows i was paid a little something in each of them, thank you KNC, free daily beer!!!

edit: estimated speed 607GH Smiley

edit: after writing this, estimated speed = 0.000GH they killed my miners, does that mean KnC do read this thread?

edit: back online. sorry i forgot they go online offline. i guess these means knc do not read after all

my hosting with KNC ended in mid may around the 17th.

Since then i have had constant worker on/off notifications with a Avg hashrate of about 300-500GH

Basically over the last month, somehow i have still been mining and i own no miners.

KnC suck so much they cannot even remove my pool details from their farm.

Yesterday i mined 0.01BTC, thanks for the free beer KNC! this has been going on for almost a month now Smiley

edit: Don't tell them, i want to see how long this goes for.

awesome

It's because they promised cloud hashing by "early June" for CA batch Neptune orders, aka Plan B.

funny discussion about dates   Cool

nevertheless it should be obv that 15th of june is NOT early june, as 16th of june is NOT late june

I think the neptune will work max. 3,6 Th/s and I hope that the surprise will be that the power consumption
is as 0,3 Watt per Gh/s.

At November this year the relation between, generated coins (to USD) and power consumption (to USD) are the same.
If not the power cunsumtion is less than 0,7 watt per Gh/s.

Fot that I hope for all customers that KNC will make an surprise like that

Run a Bitcoin node.
June has 30 days:
 1-10 = early June
 11-20 = mid June
 21-30 = late June

No cloud hashing at this moment = screwing their customers over once again

Lol, semantics!

June has 30 days:
1-15 = early June
16-30 = late June

Actually:
1-15 = first half of June
16-30 = second half of June

When you say early June you mean beginning of June. 15th of June is definitely not beginning of June as it is already mid-June Wink

I am not sure why you are still talking about this?

There is not mention in KNC's news updates when the Neptune's will be released in June, so relax. And go enjoy life a little!!

Geez

It seems they may be planning on filing for bankruptcy and taking all the bitcoins with them.

Then they will privately buy back all the "assets" from the "konkursbo", cheap 20nm miners/design with none of the obligations!

Things are looking ugly at kncminer, they are deleting their customers posts in regards refunds, refunds taking several months, super jupiters customers being scammed with used and faulty equipment.

Thats not good, they are doing the same sort of thing that BFL was well known for doing.

They also lowered the guarantee from 1 year to 3 months, taken down all references to the 1 year guarantee.

It seems they may be planning on filing for bankruptcy and taking all the bitcoins with them.

It would be a good idea to track their bitcoin wallets in case something goes really wrong.

Here is an example of a removed post, this one is in regards the old 1 year warranty
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:zv3aAqwHUYgJ:forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/43923-important-quote-from-other-user-we-all-need-to-read/page2+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk&lr=lang_de|lang_en&client=firefox-a

Here is a link about a refund that is gone:
http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/43923-important-quote-from-other-user-we-all-need-to-read/page2
Ironically the link was provided by a knc moderator, as it can be seen in the page below.

The link originates from this page which is still there:
http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/main-category/hardware/41492-kncminer-uses-fine-print-claims-in-terms-and-conditions-to-avoid-refunds/page2

There is another link on this forum where people are tracking down refund delays:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=601855.40

It looks really ugly, it is not time to relax a neptune costs 10 to 13k and it will not ROI, since it is only rated at 3 TH/s, and late on delivery, and refunds are moving at an extremely slow pace.

I can imagine there could be obstacles , he said , if they see any issues we should start hashing in their mining cloud.

WHAT???

Not sure how when even AMD and Nvidia (bigger customers) are unlikely to see 20nm chips this year!  Wink

because they've already taped out(although we have not seen a pic), and an ASIC is much less complex than your everyday GPU.
I would really appreciate seeing a 20nm wafer for the first time....   c'mon KNC?

I'd like to see unicorns, leprechauns and bigfoot, too. I'm guessing we're talking the same thing here, eh?  "sips mojito"
