1.95t/h, I have another one like this with one 6 boards going, waiting on other beaglebone, since knc has been fucking me around for a week waiting to rma it, I said fuck it yesterday and ordered a beaglebone black for it, since the bottom part works.

Looks great! Are those the standard heatsinks? I haven't actually taken mine out of their ovens... er, I mean cases so I haven't had a good look. The heatsinks sure are skinny compared to i30s. But I can't say the i30s run much cooler than the stock HSFs even though I have my second batch units bolted down, outside of their cases and with the correct amount of TIM properly applied. These things just run super hot I guess.

I bought 12 of these, alittle wider then the supplied heatsinks, not quite as wide as board but close.

...came with alittle bit of thermal paste too

I'm beginning to wonder if some of the FrankenJup owners haven't given up too quickly trying to get their Jups running. Some of the orders were indeed total shit and unusable. But I've managed to get another 6 boards running from the second batch for a total of 24 boards and 3.7THs*. I expect to easily get another 6 boards running for another ~900GHs. Maybe more if I bought another controller, which I won't. I possess not special technical prowess either. So if I can do it, anyone can... if it's at all possible.

Of course I was lucky to be in the first 'assembled' batch too and received an extra 18 boards to work with. So there's that, lol.

I can't say I'm completely dissatisfied although the design of the FJ's are crap. I'm hashing now with more THs than I originally paid for. Although I did have to buy 2 extra Controller boards (at an exorbitant price), 2 additional PSUs and 12 i30s. Waiting for the IDC cables was the biggest headache. KNC should supply those with the Controller boards since they are rather uncommon and difficult to find.

If knew then what I know now, I would have certainly cancelled or never ordered from KNC in the first place. But I consider myself to be one of the lucky ones. I could have made many other choices that would have been much worse, such as preordering from HashFast, BitMine.ch, VMC, etc. or continued to wait for a Neptune. Maybe I'll be jealous if/when they are finally delivered. Maybe not.

On the dark-side... I'm still waiting for 2+ Monarchs that probably will never be delivered before BFL goes tits-up. Lol.

* underclocked... Otherwise I'd get very close to 1THs per 6 modules. But the FrankenJup @ stock clock runs too hot for my tastes. Also they seem to be much more efficient at lower clock speeds and since I'm maxing out my circuits, I need to watch this carefully. Plus it's so DAMN hot in my house despite the recent addition of supplemental A/C for my "server" room (spare bedroom). I have to keep the house A/C at 85 during the day so it doesn't run constantly.

This is totally stupid.  They haven't even missed their shipping date yet.  The other guys had 6 months past the shipping date before a lawsuit was filed.  So far, KnC hasn't even broke their promise.  They still give out refunds left and right.  Why are you going to sue them.  About 5 guys are being dumbasses and doing a ton of screaming.  Idiots.

They never shipped working Super Jupiters to their customers, just boxes of broken parts. That is a MISSED deadline that they set themselves. They only give out refunds after being begged repeatedly, have you even been reading this thread?

By all means go and order another Neptune if you really believe what you wrote, they are super trustworthy and never lie about anything right?

Super Jupiter report:

At this time the average is 3,214.95 Gh/s = 0.18262383 BTC per day.

So let's pray for the Neptune clients.

So, start mining next month, and hash rate is 1.5 times V.S super junk = 5tg/s, and estimate difficulty = 130% from now, Nips still get 0.183BTC per day~ cheers! Grin

add AUG free 1, so 0.183BTC per day till September~
and then the diff doubles every delivery..... = screwed.
Sure was nice back when a Jupiter made about a coin a day...

That's hearsay lets worry about the diff when we need to cross that road. No need to scare people about events that haven't even happened yet.

ROFL, and that's only one of the forces working against us...
delivery times...
and 7 billion humans on earth for only 12 million coin...
Get them while you can; and do your math... mining vs, buy & hold.
looks to me like the chances of a Neptune making 15 coin are gone to me,
even if Neptune were ten terrahash; and I REALLY don't feel like running
a datacenter for six months to a year just to re-coup a fraction of the investment.
Hopefully BTC goes to $5k..   Cheesy
Good luck all.

Has anyone ever told you that your worrying too much for a product that isn't even shipping yet?

There nothing like panicking over vapour ware! Smiley
