Using https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/calculator
If I enter a very conservative LTC network growth rate of 4% (this is approx 42% growth per month)
Enter a hashrate of 100,000Kh/s for delivery on 1st July 2014
Zero running costs, free power, no pool fees, free PSUs

The total mining income is 506LTC or 15.3BTC

when I use the shopping cart for Titan (with shipping) no VAT, it works out to be about 16.9BTC

Of course Titan will probably consume 2000+ Watts, ship in late Q3, and LTC difficulty growth will certainly be over 4%

Having said that, they'll probably be sold out in a few days  Grin

OK, so the day is finally here. We can now officially launch our first product dedicated to scrypt mining.

The Scrypt mining market has grown over the last 6 months and we have been watching it very closely. The time is now right for the launch of our new offering.

The device is being called Titan and is available here. The same team and partners have been working together again. With their expertise and speed we expect to ship titan before the competition and have a product that outperforms their offerings.

The details of the device we can reveal today are as follows:

    - Minimum 100/MH/s of performance. (likely to increase as we get further down the development path)
    - Uses a Standard ATX power supply (customer supplied ATX).
    - Based on the existing Jupiter form factor but will have blades containing numerous chips inside.
    - Shipment begins in Q2/Q3 of 2014.

We will keep you all updated as the development progresses.
For those of you wanting to convert an existing Neptune order to a titan order please contact customer service for assistance.

as for other news, We passed a huge milestone in the progress of Neptune last month when we passed the "tape out" stage of the production. We are now in the foundry stage and as soon as the chips arrive we will let you all know. More info about the tape out is available here.

Thanks

Smells like a cash grab. No terms about refunds on the product page, and why bother targeting half of the year? Just tell it like it is, shipping end of Q4 if you're lucky.

meeeh, it seems that only Phoenix1969 remain from core of KNC fanboys.)

I was a happy customer too.

But they did't that data center shit, not sell jupiters, not sell everything. This is not about their customers anymore.

When I heard the news I made a refund asap all of my neptune orders.

Now I'm running 14Th and I'm a happy camper with it....

As it stands now, i see that KnC fell under clouhashing spell and with large datacenters like datorhall or cointerra-supported cloudhashing, the only companies that  ostensibly support network diversification are, paradoxically, chinese bitmain and asicminer (will BA deliver on time-who knows?).

As it stands now, i am completely dumbfound how this all came about with KnC.
With no electrical, power, time of delivery and anything else on march 17, options are getting narrow.

In 2 Weeks they are officialy in delay. according to their Network protection Statement, where they spelled to start shipping their nextgen devices in march 2014.

I've thought this as well but have been beat up on my memory of this in this thread....do you have a link? people claim they always said Q1/Q2 but as a very early order I don't remember that (i also paid via paypal which i was not supposed to be able to do and had to resubmit a wire xfer ...kept my place in line thou...so maybe the Q1 thing i saw was a mistake and pulled..if my memory is correct)

Searing

They always said Q1/Q2 as far as I know, see their new page post on 11/26/2013 https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-69

2.5+TH bitfury, shipping now.

Used and power hungry, not a great deal imo.

Forget that. The fact that it cost 5$/GH and that it weights 60kilos is making my head spin...
