Oh, and I'm not worried about payouts, my tiny GH/s isn't generating much, probably .05 per day or some tiny fraction (TaE)

Thank you for the welcome Lava. I was actually surprised to see myself on the top 100 for Sexcoin... I remember the days when we'd get 5k-10k a week on GPUs... ahh, woulda coulda shoulda, i should have industrialized mining way back in 2010-2014...

I actually recently found my cold_storage sexcoin wallet, and my original mining wallet, backed up to Dropbox, but deleted long ago. Fortunately, I paid for the FOREVER restore, and got them back.

800k coins recovered.

But I wonder what happened to some of the HUGE accounts on the top 100, someone, somewhere, has 12 million. I wonder if that's possibly someplace like cryptsy or other lost exhanges that no one went back and recovered. Too bad, last trades from the top 2 biggest holders, was back in early 2015.

Yes, my pool is a very 'low feature' pool.
It won't payout until you've collected 100 sxc. PM me your mining address and I can check your accumulated balance, or possibly run a manual payout.

Hopefully, we can release the Windows and Mac code tomorrow.

Also, I'm not sure what the best miner would be. The code is based on Litecoin 0.10.4, so any software that mines that will also mine sexcoin.

Also, I see new code is out for Linux, eta for Windows? Still possible to GPU mine with cgminer 3.7.2?

Because of a large number of fraudulent entries from people trying to double-drip as of recent, I have been making a lot of changes. These changes are in place now, but more might be in order. I had to throw out a lot of entries prior to those changes being completed. Sorry that some valid entries were not paid because of this.

So long as it is not abused further or in different ways, yes you can expect a drop from the faucet again, as of now.

Update: New client, Blockchain issues

As many have figured out, there has been a high amount of 51% attacks on the network.
Some have succeeded. We are attempting to determine if this was intentional or a result of large miners being attracted by the price jump.
Because of this, exchanges are doing what they feel is necessary to protect themselves and their traders from theft. We have sent messages to the one's we know about informing them of the attacks.

What the Sexcoin network needs is miners to secure the network. I've purchase about as much as I can for the moment.
We are working on a longer-term solution. More on this later.

Cryptopia's wallet is back online. They have pushed the number of required confirms up to 200.
Livecoin's wallet is still offline. We've been in contact, I'm waiting on a response from them.

The release of the new client is going to go forward. I'm still watching to see adaptation from more miners.
From what I'm seeing we will probably release to everyone else tomorrow.

Lavajumper has put his heart and soul into this release (not to mention his blood sweat toil and tears) into this upgrade. There's bound to be one or two bugs... Let Lava do his thing and correct the errors as they are identified (we really need more people helping not knocking)

There was an error in the RPC sendtoaddress and sendfrom methods that caused the client to crash. sendmany was not affected.

Most people that have known me know that there has been nothing more important to me during this release. The wallets on livecoin and cryptopia are offline by their decision. I have been in contact with both and we are working on getting them reinstated.

What you might not know is that I don't spend my afternoons drinking congnac with Cryptopia and the Livecoin devs. Communication is difficult between time differences and language barriers.

Also, I am not responsible for poor trading practices. Playing arbitage between different exchanges is a very dangerous game. Especially during a pump that coincided with a new release. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it.

That being said, here's an update:

Not a lot of miners have adapted the new code. I'm not sure why, most have gone radio silent. Some have not and I thank those that have been in contact with me.
The new release's have been built and are ready to go out, we've been waiting for evidence that miners have adapted, which we are not seeing.
Cryptopia reinstated the wallet briefly, but had to pull it back offline. I'm waiting on a reply from them as to why.
