Can someone please help. Rtx3060ti on win10 drivers 512.im getting rejected shares so much on nicehash pool while mining ergo. It says invalid extraodance2 size. More than half shares are rejected. Maybe someone knows.thanks

It looks like an issue with some Nicehash orders, try a different miner to confirm.
Nicehash does some funky things with extranonce2 when switching orders which switches where you actually mine.
Ok thanks. On other pools works good.

Hi All,

I've started using the T-Rex API for some basic miner automation (Pause + Resume) and its working well.
I'm looking for some guidance on turning down the fan speed when paused, anyone have some advice doing this purely using API?

Thanks, any guidance would be appreciated.

I'am trying to mine ETC and ZIL on Windows 10 with the latest 0.26.6 version. This are the commands:
--coin etc+zil --url2 stratum+tcp://eu1-zil.shardpool.io:3333 --user2 zil1xxx --pass2 x --worker2 xxx --extra-dag-epoch 0 --no-watchdog -a etchash -o stratum+tcp://etchash.auto.nicehash.com:9200 -p x -u xxx

The switch to ZIL is working fine. Sometimes T-Rex switches automatically back without problems, but most of the time T-Rex wont switch back to ETC. It just infinitly mines at the ZIL pool, printing out found shares on the ZIL pool, but 0 shares on ETC Nicehash. So the miner has to be restarted. This behavior is on all my windows rigs, no matter which Nvidia driver version or which GPU i use, or if its a single GPU or multiple.

Can you please check that? Maybe its a bug in T-Rex, but maybe it has something to do with the pools or the combination of the pools.

I use HiveOS for mining ALPH.

The miner sometimes gives error because of overclock. The miner restarts mining progress. I dont want its restart. I want to see the error which gpu has.
How could it possible ? is there any code to write in extra config ?

I see the error code if i only watch the minnig progress...
But there are so many rigs. ı cannot watch the progress. I only need the information which gpu has the problem.

I take it your running HiveOS? Let TRex do a log file and in the directory where the log file is do
grep -i 'CUDA_ERROR_LAUNCH_TIMEOUT\|nonce' and it should show you which gpu is at fault.

Windows stops the mining progress if any error happens. It is so simple. I just add "pause" word to the next line in the BAT file.
I want to know how to do it the same thing in HiveOS. I dont want to save all logs because I use flash disks on 61 rigs.

By the way, in ethash algorithm: The rig reboot at any error. But HiveOS shows a notification about it.
In blake3-alph and in kawpow: The miner restarts without any notification about it.
So, I ask if it is possible the same thing with other algorithms as ethash do.

I don't know if hiveos is also writing errors of gpu cards to syslog which is normally used on linux systems.
You can find it /var/log/syslog. This logfile adheres to the logrotate file implementation of linux.
Try with the sugestion I mentioned before for the logfile.

Looking at t-rex wiki on github t-rex itself doesn't have many log options like some other miners do like curtail the size of a logfile.
I suggest make an issue at t-rex github and ask for a logrotate option or a size limiting logfile option.

Otherwise maybe the webui of t-rex might be a possibility.

Regretfully PhoenixMiner looks to be abandoned but it has an option for logsmaxsize to avoid large logfiles.

please tell me which version of the miner supports the neoscrypt algorithm

Go to pool which supports neoscrypt and look for a miner there and neoscrypt is actually for asic.
You can have a look here https://minerstat.com/algorithm/neoscrypt/miners

**In BTC since 2013**
hi there

want to mine etc/ravencoin but directly to nicehash, how could I do?

tried to find out on tutorials but couldn't make it work Sad

thanks in advance

Mining on NiceHash only receives BTC.
If you want to later, you can convert to other currencies using the NH exchange.

Another point is that T-Rex has nothing to do with NiceHash, nor is it used by NH.

I started getting a couple of errors after updating to 26.4 and updating my Nvidia drivers.
While starting up, I get:
GPU #0: DAG generated [crc: 393b91a(!), time 17243 ms], memory left 1.55GB

Sometime after that I get a nonce error, and it either restarts and gets into this loop, or it errors out and stops T-Rex. The error is:

TREX: Can't find nonce with device [ID=0, GPU #0], cuda exception: CUDA_ERROR_MISALIGNED_ADDRESS, try to reduce overclock to stabilize GPU state

Since I switched to a 3060ti I haven't been using any overclocking.

How can I get past this?

Thanks,
