I don't see a big mistake with the team selection. Everything went well amidst the failure of the opener, Babar Azam. It is true that the Pakistan team is much dependent on the openers. The pressure at the end overs could've been handled better. If so, the match could've come into the hands of the Pakistan team. By the end of 17 overs, Pakistan has reached 148/4, and the required run rate is 12 runs per over. By the time the pressure was high, they had further lost 5 wickets and scored just 24 runs. The performance from George Linde on batting and bowling is tremendous, which is a big reason for the win of the South Africa team.
